Just got my surgery. Very swollen and hoping that results look more dramatic over time. Fat transfer from abdomen/inner thighs to hips/butt I have only napped for about an hour and pain is very manageable. It has certainly lessened as the day has gone. Dr. Mucci and his staff were so kind and helpful! Updated on 28 Jan 2018: Second day and I’m seeing a little bit of a difference, but nothing super dramatic. I hope its just due to swelling. My doctor said it would be a few weeks for any swelling to go down. I’m in more pain than yesterday for sure! But it’s nothing too unmanageable. Looking forward to taking a shower today. Updated on 30 Jan 2018: Getting up was a little hard, but all together I am feeling great! This is much less painful than I thought. The swelling starting to go down and I’m finally seeing the results that I want. Very excited! I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow and I will be comparing my measurements. Updated on 31 Jan 2018: Loving it:) it’s not as dramatic as I wanted but I’m loving my cute little body! I lost about 3 inches off of my waist. I can see it changing every day. The pain hasn’t been horrible, but it hasn’t really gotten better either. The worst part is the garment I have to wear for 6 weeks. It is so uncomfortable and digs into my skin.
Dr. Mucci has preformed 3 procedures on me and I am more than pleased with the results. Tummy tuck then face lift, neck lift with eyes done and then some back liposuction with refreshed neck lift. Over the years he has shown to be very concerned with his results and goes the extra mile to make sure his patients are pleased.
I am almost 3 weeks post op from TT. Very good experience with great bedside manor and making you feel comfortable. His office is very personable and helpful pre and post. So far I am satisfied with my procedure.
I am a 62 year old woman who had a facelift in January 2008. Basically it turned out well, but I was very unhappy about the wrinkles that were on my checks. They are not smile lines, but fine wrinkles no less. Most likely due to an aging face which looses it volume. I always thought that you could lay on the floor and hold a mirror to your face and that would indicate the way your face would look after a face lift. I am not sure if my doctor did not pull it tight enough or what the problem was. He knew that I was unhappy with that portion of the face lift, so when a rep from Radiesse approached him about doing this procedure he decided to try it out on his nurse and me. The rep was in the room when he was making the injections. Yes there was some minor improvements, but it would not have been anything worth paying for. I was happy to be the test case. Perhaps in a younger woman the procedure would have worked better.
I went in for a consultation (which was $100) and I had a question before I left about what a gland was, considering he would be removing it form my body, and his reply was very rude, saying in a rude tone "You want me to give you an anatomy lesson?". I left very un-happy and would not recommend anyone to choose someone with such little care and mood swings.
