Dear Crisbella,root canal treated teeth do need to have crowns for more support. I strongly recommend you to see a dentist, have a Periapical X-ray taken to make sure there is no infection around the roots. Sometimes teeth that are broken following root canal therapy can be still restored if enough tooth structure is left. In some cases broken teeth are not restorable and have to be extracted which you have to think about replacement options if interested .
