Dr. Sal at chambers hair Institute helped me after a hair crisis. Sal can performed 3 prp sessions and one steroid shot session. I was more than happy with services provided. I am very pleased with how quickly we could get results starting to show.
I am 52 and have never had much of a chin but due to weight gain I had like 3 chin and it wasn't pretty. I had the lift and my lower eyes done. I had one issue where my ear was not healing properly and had to go to the ER for more stitches. It was not a cake walk and the recovery time for me was longer than normal. I did not have any pain but just looked like someone beat the heck out of me. I highly recommend it.
Perhaps it was my 61st birthday that did it, but suddenly, I was so depressed looking in the mirror. I realized that I was at "that stage" where no one would ever look at me again and think, "What a beautiful woman." I certainly couldn't afford to throw away $5,000, but I really needed a lift of my spirits as well as my sagging cheeks, jowls, and neck. (Oh my goodness...the neck was really bad! I was starting to look like an elderly woman, and I'm still quite a ways from elderly!) I could not be happier with the results. My neck is unbelievable, and my face truly looks about 15 years younger than I did when I went in for the surgery. I'm lookin' kinda hot again, and I like it!! Updated on 13 Feb 2011: Still extremely happy with the results of my surgery. I feel good about myself and don't dread glimpses of myself in the mirror or pictures others take. My doctor was phenomenal. I would recommend him to anyone. Great guy and talented surgeon.
I had the lifestyle lift plus my eyes done at the same time. was told how great they were at eyes and wanted to have done at the same time.i'm 66 and i will say my neck does show some difference but don't do an eyelift. The lid on my left eye was pulled down to low and i still have a large burge under it 2 months later. my right upper eye still droops like it did before the lift and the eyes make me look like I had a stroke.I had this done in Troy Michigan. It was my dream to have these procedures and I paid 8200 dollars for the procedures. I'm just sick about the whole thing. I wish I would have spent more time on research. Updated October 7, 2009I had my eyes done and hated it. Wrote a review to tell everyone what I thought of it after 2 months. Went to the doctor yesterday and talk to doctor about my concerns. They were so good. Still don't like my eyes yet but I was told as soon as enough time has gone by so everything is settled and nothing is going to shift any changes that need to be made to make my eyes look the way they should will be done. He said I'll probably need a little laser touch up for the small bulge under my eyes and a little more off one of my upper lids. This made me feel so good to know my eyes will be fixed at no additional cost. That they do not leave you just setting out there if you really have a problem. I really wish I would have waited to write my first review until I was sure the problems would not be fixed. This is not the case they do stand behind the work. This is not to say they would fix something because your expectations are unrealistic.
I had the laser treatment almost a year ago. I went in to have scars removed from around my ears from another bad surgeon that did my neck lift. I met with the Doctor and he told me that he could really improve the scars and then he talked me into having my whole face done. Then he told me that my skin would be just like a babies behind. Well I talked to my husband and I gave them the down payment and setup the appointment. The day of the appointment they gave me Meds. to relax me and the hell began. The shots oh my God. They didn't stop. One after another. These were no little pricks. The worse were around my eyes and lips. Never gave me a rest between any of them. I even said Holly Sh*t. He just kept on going. I was so happy when the shot were done. I didn't feel anything with the laser. On the paper they give you the Treatment Guidelines it states that " The treated area will get a mico-crust on it for 3 days. No make up for 3 to 5 days. Within 2 days I looked like Freddy Krueger. I couldn't leave my house for over a month. My face was nothing but blood and scabs. My son and husband had to do all my shopping for me. And the best part is the Doctor never touched the scars around my ears. That was the reason I was there in the first place. I went and seen him again and I told him that you never moved the hat to get to my ears. He first said why would I do that. I had to go though the whole story why I was there in the first place and then I said does my skin look like a babies behind to you. I still see the acne scars I had before you did the lase. He said it can take up to 6 months for the collagen to rebuild. I went back in the fall and I said well its the same. So he said that he would redo the laser and that because he didn't what he suppose to do the first time that he would tighten my neck up for free. I went last month the the Doctor that did my laser is no longer there. So I met with another Doctor and he said that he would fulfill the other Doctor promise to do my neck for free. We set up my appointment. When I arrived they took me back and the nurse said that they would not be doing my neck for free. Then she said that we are doing the laser for free. I got really mad and told her you are not doing it for free I paid for this. I got into with her. So she got the office manager and she said that I misunderstood what the Doctor said that promised to do my neck for free. I said oh no I didn't. Everyone know. When I signed in this morning the girl at the front desk said sign this paper because we are doing your neck and laser for free and when I met with the Doctor he knew what the other Doctor said. So I got into with her. She left the room. Then the nurse gave me my pictures she had taken. The more I looked at my pictures and seeing that nothing had changed from a year ago. I said do I really want to put myself though all that pain again. So I put on my jacket and told the nurse I am leaving. She said hold on I will get the Doctor. No Doctor here comes the office manager again. She said the Doctor is really good. I said I really don't like dealing with a dishonest company. You people are just as bad as the people that was on Hall Road. She said I don't want you to feel that way. I said what! I said you have lied so how would you feel. You up sold me to have my whole face laser and said it would look like a babies behind. Look my face looks like it had a bad diaper rash that didn't heal. I am leaving. She said I want you to leave out this door. I said I am not going out that door I am going out this door where my family is. I just wish people were out there. The waiting room was empty. I just hope people could hear me when I was in the room talking to the nurse and the office manager. People please stay away. Updated on 22 Mar 2011: I had this done at Lifestyle Lift.
The place was nice to talk to someone for a consultation, everything you wanted it to look like they will do it, Bull!I went back cause they left what looked like a bubble on the right cheek, and had done what they called a revision, which was worse, now I have scars drooping down from my ears, right one is real bad, when I showed the Dr. there he just said "oh well you has a revision no more I can Do". No one could ever tell I had anything done even the before and after pictures looked the same.I even called the founder of the place cause the pamplet said he will give you his personal guarantee, and all he did was have the nurse call me like I was being a bother to him, with the experience I had here I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
I received my LSL 3-17-2010 from Dr. C in Troy. It was very painful to say the least, but my problem is he pulled my skin VERY tightly. This is my second facelift in 20 years, so I know what is normal and what isn't. My skin is pulled so tightly that lumps are clearly visible under my cheeks. God, I just want to scream.I called his office several times and told this was "normal" and the lumps would eventually smooth out. Yeah, maybe in about 3 or 4 years.DON'T GO TO LIFESTYLE LIFT IF YOU WANT TO PRESERVE YOUR FACE. Go see a board certified surgeon and be sure you check his/her credentials thoroughly.Updated on 2 Mar 2011:Spent $1900 to have revisions done on my face. Board certified surgeon said he'd never seen worse surgical procedures as used by LSL butcher. I had incisions across BOTH temples in addition to deep scars behind my ears and noticeable puckering. STAY AWAY FROM DR. C AT LIFESTYLE IN TROY, MI.Updated on 21 Jun 2011:No pros, just cons.
I had lost weight, there were months of stress prior to my decision, my neck, smile lines were really showing the burden I had been going through. I always had deep smile lines compared to others my age and I always wanted to do something about them. This 'lift' seems to be just what I needed at the time. The first two to three days, I was asking myself, 'why did you do this?'. I live alone, so I did all the after surgery care. The worst was trying to sleep. But, after those first days, my face and attitude got better and better. No, you DO NOT see the difference in one week! I learned to cover the bruises on my neck and cheeks, and no one (except an adult child and close friend) even knew what I had done. In two weeks I was back to work, church, shopping, etc. My face was quite 'tight' looking for awhile, but has relaxed now. I don't look like the ads, but then again I am not very photogenic (spelling?) For several months, friends who hadn't seen me would say, 'you look great!'. Now after seven months, people usually say, 'you're look nice'. My advice to anyone considering this procedure, be prepared, it is not 'a piece of cake', but follow the before and after care instructions and everything will work out for the better.
I was feeling bad about how I looked. I felt young on the inside, but when I'd saw myself in a mirror, it made me depressed to see my sagging turkey neck and deep marionette smile lines. I did it to improve my appearance which in turn would make feel more self confident and satisfied. I also have 2 step children in their teens and I looked more like their grandma than their mom. That bothered me. I've always been proud of my appearance and have taken care of myself over the years. I was unable to change my appearance no more matter how many products I bought and used on my face and skin. I love my new look. I look 10 years younger and feel it too. I smile more and interact with people more confidently. My husband is amazed at how much younger I look and how much my appearance has changed. He's pleased with the results too. He was extremely supportive from the day I told him I wanted the procedure. It did hurt to have the numbing shots, but I'd do it again. It was worth the pain. The cost was not as high as I thought it would be and I got 0% financing which was marvelous! I was very sore for a 2-3 days, but the pains pills helped ease the pain. I was off the pain pills within 3 days. Sleeping with the head wrap with a chin support was annoying, but not painful. Overall, I feel that it is worth every penny I spent and any pain I endured. My appearance change is great and I am extremely satisfied.
