Sachin S. Pawar, MD

On April 9th, 2014 I was working on my car supported with just the scissor jack. The jack tipped over and crushed my skull. I was flown to Milwaukee and that's where I met Dr. Pawar. I looked like a swamp monster when I arrived to Froedhert, but Dr. Pawar rebuilt my face without leaving any surgical scars. Eleven years later, my face still looks great, I've had no complications from the surgery and most people aren't able to tell that I ever experienced facial trauma.
Not only is Dr. Pawar an extremely skilled surgeon, he also had outstanding bedside manner. Despite being busy, he did an excellent job of communicating his plans for the surgery, as well as genuinely caring about me as his patient. He personally followed up to check on how I was doing, even months after the surgery. If I could give him more than five stars, I would.

I initially never thought I would do a procedure like this until my injector said she would love to put filler in my chin. At that point, I saw what she was seeing! Since I had to get a septoplasty for a deviated septum I jumped feet first into expanding my chin. We went with a medium chin implant and day of I was so nervous it would be too big! I'm only two days post op but I'll share my pictures thus far. Currently I'm really relieved it doesn't feel too big and I'm excited to see the swelling come down.

If I could give Dr. Pawar 6 stars I would. Did just what I wanted, didn't push for more, and did an AMAZING job. Extremely enjoyable experience. I was considering a nose job but we settled on a much less expensive dermal filler solution. He could have talked me into a nose job, but didn't. He did just what I needed and not more. I could not more highly recommend,

If you're looking to try dermal fillers, Botox/Dysport, or do something more surgical, I honestly don't believe you can find anyone more adept or trustworthy than Dr. Pawar. He once told me, "If anyone can tell you had something done, I haven't done my job." And after trying dermal fillers for the first time, my mom said, "It doesn't even look like you had anything done really...you just look like you did 10 yrs ago..." EXACTLY!! THIS is what most people are looking for after all! Don't make me look like someone else; just make me look younger and well-rested! ;) Dr. Pawar is conservative in his approach, but always willing to do more if that's the look you truly desire. He takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, and answers any and all questions you have, never making you feel rushed. While I haven't had anything surgical done (yet anyway), I can also attest to his surgical skills, as he did a delicate ear reattachment on a friend's baby after a tragic dog bite accident, and even though it's several years later now, they STILL rave about his excellent skills (hardly a scar!). Dr. Pawar is the ONLY person I will ever trust with my face (and in the future...anything else that needs some perking up!)!

Dr. Pawar is absolutely fantastic, I recently went in for Voluma on my cheeks and also decided to try Restylane for my under eye hollows. When I explained that I was a bit nervous about having filler done near the eyes he helped me feel more at ease, explained the procedure and I barely felt anything when he administered it. He did a great job on the placement of the filler on my cheeks and can tell a nice difference under the eyes as well.
When the time comes to consider doing a mini facelift in the future I definitely want Dr. Pawar to perform it because he is a skilled doctor and one of the best out there!

Dr. Pawar is a highly skilled surgeon and also a very caring doctor. He describes everything that will happen and takes time to listen. My results are amazing! I was nervous about my decision initially but am very pleased with this experience. You're in excellent care with Dr. Pawar and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I started to look for a good surgeon for a facelift, eye lift, and brow lift surgery, and I wanted someone who was experienced and only did facial surgery. I did my homework well because I look wonderful and at least 15 years younger (true age 54). Dr. Sachin Pawar is a board certified plastic surgeon and his skills as a surgeon and bedside manner are above and beyond. I was so scared that I would not look like myself, but I still look like me just 15 years younger.Two friends have already asked for his number based on my results. I am 6+ months out from my surgery and my results are fantastic!! The only cons are it really hurt and it takes longer than 2 weeks to heal. I started going on short trips out after 3 weeks, but did not feel truly comfortable about going out until 6 weeks because of the swelling. However, most of the swelling is gone by 6 months and still some numbing around face. But would I do it again, yes, but only with Dr. Sachin Pawar. Thanks you so much!

I could not have asked for a better surgeon to perform my rhinoplasty. Dr. Pawar was honest, thorough and precise through every step of the way. From my first consultation, I knew that I wanted Dr. Pawar to perform my surgery. This was my second revision rhinoplasty, and he exceeded my expectations in every way possible. His confidence, compassion and humility made me at ease about a surgery that I was nervous about given the two previous rhinoplasties that left me with subpar results. I had contemplated a neck and face lift for years and tried many other non-surgical procedures that only offered little help. I finally opted for facial surgery with fat grafting and Dr Pawar provided amazing results.

After losing 60# I noticed sagging jowls and a double chin. I also had a masculine, bulbous nose tip that I never liked very much so I decided to address everything in a single surgery.
I interviewed several plastic surgeons and ultimately chose Dr. Sachin Pawar. Dr. Pawar’s credentials impressed me. He is double board certified in Otolaryngology (ear, nose, throat) as well as in Plastic Surgery. He also has exceptional interpersonal communication skills and explained my procedures in detail answering all of my questions. I always felt safe and in very good hands throughout the entire process.My surgery was on March 8, 2019. I will continue to add photos as my healing process continues but so far I am thrilled with my results.

Facelift/neck lift and rhinoplasty tips.

Disclaimer...always check with your doc first and follow your doctor’s advice over mine if they contradict. Always.

Your jaw will be sore after surgery so have soft, nutritious, easy to prepare foods on hand. Also, stay hydrated.

For excessive swelling check with your surgeon to see if face/neck lymphatic massage may be appropriate and or helpful. I had to wait 3 weeks post op to do it.

Aquaphor is great to speed healing of the incision sites. Sterile saline for the nose to keep it moist, relieve congestion and loosen dried scabs.

Gentle walking is great but normal exercising is too vigorous for at least a couple weeks post op. You can increase swelling, pain and bleeding by doing too much too soon. Listen to your doc and your body!

Narcotics cause nausea and constipation. I never took any post op but if you need them be aware of their side effects. I used tylenol and after a couple days post op switched to ibuprofen which works best for pain but can thin the blood (got permission).

Staying overnight in the hospital after surgery gave me time to be cared for, rest and have IV fluids. Best decision I ever made. Cost was about $500 extra.

Be aware that each side of your face is a separate surgical procedure so swelling and healing may by uneven and you may look asymmetrical for some weeks.

Rest and take care of yourself! You have invested your time, money and endured some moderate pain so optimize your results by following your doc’s instructions!

These photos were taken a couple days apart over the last 2-3 weeks and show my healing progress. I am out walking daily now. I did some digging in the garden and that got my face throbbing so stopped and rested. It is very important to listen to your body with respect to physical activity. Bending over is problematic for me yet so I plan to avoid it for awhile. Keepimg my heartrate below100 seems to be the trick. I am drivng, shopping and cooking.

The swelling still has its ups and downs at almost 6 weeks post op especially after exercise but I am out there living life and really enjoying my results thus far. I look best in the early morning upon first waking up before I hit the gym or the forest trails. Those activities do cause my facial and nasal swelling to return. I am used to the healing process now and not at all concerned with the swelling ups and downs. My neck under the chin is still numb as well as areas near my ears. I have zero pain and just a little bit of tightness.
Overall I would do it all again in a heartbeat even though the first couple weeks post op are rough.

I am loving my new face, neck and nose more and more every day. Friends mention how young I look in photos without knowing what I had done. I am thrilled with my results!

I took a photo from before my procedures and one from May 2019 and used a morphing app to see exactly ow my face, neck and nose have changed. I hope it comes through as it it really a big change!
