It is difficult to answer your question without any past medical history. Some can become expose because they are place under the skin, without muscle coverage, other can become infected and been&nbsp;it self a foreign&nbsp; body it can be extruded. If patient has had radiation treatments in the past the skin also can be affected and they can be extruded as well. If&nbsp;it did then one should wait at least six months prior to considering reoperation, and maybe even use&nbsp;a dermal matrix coverage, or latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap or other type of coverage for the area.

As per my first post, my implant became exposed and had to be removed. One doc suggested it might be a problem with the skin flap. I didn't make it clear that the exposure was NOT at any incision point. During the tissue expansion the skin became red and then started turning black. No where near the incision. So, Not any problem with the skin flap. I believe I was stretched too much and the muscle tore.

Follow-Up Question: my implant became exposed and had to be removed. No issues at the incision point. Suggestions?

It is difficult to evaluate just by photos. How long ago was surgery done? It seems that you have lack of upper pole fullness&nbsp;(superiorly) and saggy breast and rippling of the skin. This may need to be address by placing the implants under the muscle and doing&nbsp;a full&nbsp;&nbsp;mastopexy.

I was a 34B before surgery and had cute perky breasts. I wanted fuller breasts &amp; Haley Brown put saline implants over the muscle. During recovery I noticed something was wrong. My skin couldn't hold the weight of the implant &amp; dropped the implant nearly down to my belly button. The implants were saggy &amp; completely rippled. I went back to Haley Brown &amp; she told me I would need a full lift (anchor) but I still have rippled, saggy breasts with uneven nipples.

Most time one week post op a breast may hurt more than the other just because the muscle could be in spasm, or it may be that it bleed some in the inside and/or it was more traumatized during the insertion and its just more swollen. If there is not significant size difference just having ice packs and some gentle massage may be enough, but if significant size discrepancy and pain you may have a hematoma. If so I would advice to contact your surgeon.

I had my implants put in a week ago. My left breast feels fine but my right is causing fairly extreme pain. It is more firm than the right and hurts whenever I move. I had 400cc under the muscle. Saline.

One week post op. 400cc under the muscle, incision through armpit. One breast is very sore and much more firm.

You have a&nbsp;wide space&nbsp;in &nbsp;the anatomy&nbsp;between &nbsp;your breasts &nbsp;and also lateralization of your nipple- areolar complexes, the implants although they may filled in some area of the middle of the chest, if the nipples-areolar complexes&nbsp;are not move towards the center, it will make your condition worse.

How will breast implants affect the gap between my breast? Will it close it any or will my boobs end up on my sides? (Photo)

I believe that if you have sensation in the nipples,&nbsp;it will be a matter of time( 6-8wks) before you should be able to have nipple hardening. What you have at present can be due to the incision site, local inflammation.Good luck

About 2 wks ago, I had breast revision right breast under the Areola; i have 400cc mentor silicone under the muscle. I notice my nipple looks bit bigger then the left nipple, I still have feeling but it won't get hard-is that normal? And when approximately It will go back to normal The dr did a great job that I don't see the incision so I will not have a scar :)

When will my nipple will get hard again?

Cleavage is mostly an individual, anatomical thing. A bigger implant won't do anything for your cleavage and if the surgeon becomes to aggressive&nbsp;trying to achieve one,&nbsp;you may end up with a Symmastia a difficult sequelae to correct.

About a year ago I got 450cc silicone Natrelle style 20 implants. What can I do to achieve nice cleavage. I've tried different bras but nothing moves my boobs closer. They feel stiff when I try to push them closer?

Can surgery to change the implant size and type or creating more room inside help me get cleavage?

Two weeks is just to early to tell.You have surgical swelling.some muscle contraction.Need at least 6 to 8 weeks before you see final result.

I'm 98 lbs. I was a 32a I went with 275 cc saline mod plus implant I an 8 days post op and feel huge . I wanted to to be full b maybe small c but I feeling like d or dd . Can 275 possible keep at this large size or can I be swollen .

I believe that an augmentation is most common perform procedure.I have done it outpatient for the last 26 yrs.I don't see if you are observe for several hours in the recovery room,why you should stay in the hospital.

I'm deciding between 2 surgeons for my BA.They are both made me feel very comfortable however one said that he uses TIVO anaesthesia and therefore doesn't keep patients over night and the other surgeon uses the traditional method of anaesthesia and therefore insists that patients spend one night in hospital. How important is overnight stay and the method of anaesthesia used? Can this help determine my decision?

Is a little to early to tell,after just 3wks post-op.The implants definetely look big,and there is like a double bubble fold inframmary.This may correct with tapping and a good support brassiere for 4 to 6 wks.

I believe you have a great result.Changing your implants on top of muscle not a good idea.Nipple reposition doen't always work and can live you with undesirable scars.

I am 1 1/2yr healed since BA :) I got 300cc, Mentor silicone, high profile, under muscle, periarioler, breast implants. The ONLY thing that bothers me with these puppies is that one implant(on MY right, with the mole above it) looks googly eyed and not centered areola/nipple. I am an out of town patient, so I can't go see my PS whenever, but he told me this is normal with puckering of under muscle placement, but any way to fix w/o overs? Is MY right breast worth correcting? Please help and thank you!
