CO2 laser- Be prepared for what you will look like!

I did this several years ago, and I took at least one picture every day. Yes, our look like a god awful mess, but there is zero pain after the procedure. And I was extremely happy with the end results. The only reason I haven’t is the downtime-you won’t leave the house for at least 2 weeks- but you will have skin like a newborn baby after! The procedure itself was tolerable but it definitely hurt when the laser was applied (which is very fat). I had a lot of texture issues on my chin, so Dr. Dawood did a second pass there, thus it took longer to heal. I really liked the affect on my upper eyelids! No more creases! Btw, the areas you think it will hurt (delicate areas) don’t, and the areas you expect to be more tolerant are not, lol. Updated on 16 Mar 2019: Updated on 16 Mar 2019: I forgot to mention the oozing. It is tapering off here. I wore a towel pinned around my neck like a bib to catch drips. I was also told to put aquafor all over my face, day and night, to keep it moist Updated on 16 Mar 2019: Major scabbing and peeling. Incredibly hard not to pick at! My husband still refuses to eat in my presence, much less look at me???? Updated on 16 Mar 2019: Eyes are bloodshot (expected). Pattern on my forehead is funny most of the skin has peeled (I am have helped that a bit) Updated on 16 Mar 2019: Still swollen. The chin area that got a double pass is lagging in the healing dept. Updated on 16 Mar 2019: Looking much better but still definitely red Updated on 16 Mar 2019: First day out! I got some green color corrector (prior to procedure) to cancel out the red so I could go to my daughters soccer game. I also have on makeup base to cover the scabby chin and redness Updated on 16 Mar 2019: I had a lot of pigmentation and fine lines that are not evident in the first picture, but trust me they were there. My friends could not get over how good my skin looked, despite the chin area taking longer to heal Updated on 23 Mar 2019: I am currently chiseled for a Lowe face lift, upper eyelid lift and undereye Co2 laser (same as this procedure). I am also doing my HANDS. Scheduled date is 4/3/19 Updated on 23 Mar 2019: Updated on 8 Apr 2019: Because I am addicted to this website, lol, I continue to read other peoples stories about Co2 laser treatment. One thing I’ve notices in others pictures is a ,it of ‘space’ in between the last squats. To me this is looks like a shoddy job. You are not getting full coverage. And something I saw that was ALARMING to me- someone posted a picture and mentioned the the greasy stuff was just Crisco! Crisco? WTH? I ope that was a joke. You have to use Aquaphor because I hydrates and lets the skin breath. Vaseline does not, and Crisco is for baking!
