If you are here searching for an amazing plastic surgeon, search no more. I was exactly where you are now few months and was disparately searching for a doctor to help me with my ruptured breast implants. I had 14 year old cohesive gel breast implants that were ruptured and badly capsulated. I needed an experienced doctor and thank GOD, I found Dr. Zubowski. He did an amazing job. Thank you so much Dr. Zubowski and his staff. They are an amazing team.
Dr Zubowski is my favorite plastic surgeon! He is very professional with an excellent bedside manner. He is the doctor you can trust, honest and caring. Dr Zubowski performed my two surgeries and each one was a wonderful experience. I would never go to anybody else!
From the consultation to the post surgery follow up I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Zubowski has performed surgery on family members and friends and I had Botox and fillers previously from him. He made suggestions on the procedures to give me the look I wanted and assured me I would not look over done. I am very pleased with the results three (3) weeks post surgery which included lower lid blepharoplasty to reduce depressions around eye and a lip lift to restore my smile. I also had a Halo laser treatment and my skin looks refreshed. The nurses and esthetician were helpful after surgery with answering my questions on follow up care. I highly recommend Dr. Zubowski for any cosmetic procedure, including Botox, fillers and surgery.
First of all let me start by saying this was extremely painful As excrutiating. ???? I almost got up and walked out. My legs were shaking so much from the pain that the nurse held them down. My doctor is amazing he asked me if I wanted to stop but no way!!! I was saving money for one full year for this there's no way I was gonna tell him to stop. I had BBL and halo right after. They used a numbing cream but I'm not sure if it worked cause damn!!!! The nurse kept changing my cold compressions to alivia-te the burn and that helped. I'm now 5 hours post procedure and my face still burns like hell my house is 68 degrees and I can't go in there cause it hurts so I've been in my car for the past 4 hours with AC blasting. The reason I said I'm not sure it's because this is day 1 so I have no idea about the outcome I'll keep you updated :) I'll post pictures tomorrow Updated on 15 Jan 2017: So.... I wanted to write my review of day one while was still fresh in my mind. The pain (burn sensation) was really bad but just as the doctor said it was only for a total of 12 hours. By next morning of January 13th no more pain. Only when I had to touch my face to wash it and put the cream back on. I have to do it twice per day. Today, Sunday the 15th, 3 days after, my face is really itching ( the doctor told me it would be) it looks like it's starting to dry out so the peeling process can begin I'm guessing!?! Well... I still don't understand how can some people go out the next day or even day 2 or 3 ... to me it looks like I'll be stuck in the house for at least one more week but if I get good results I really don't care. I guess it's different for everyone but I'm just thinking about the reviews I read before people said it wasn't that painful and I thought I was gonna die... the burning after yes, I read that and experienced that. Now, I'm still looking like a freak but most of the reviews said they were able to go out by the next day and by day 5 they were gorgeous. I'm hoping everything is happening the way it should. At least no more pain my face started to dry out and it's itching that's Day 3.
Hated the muffin top and wanted a non-invasive procedure to remove the excess fat. Diet and exercise were not giving me the results I wanted. Dr. Zubowski and his staff explained the procedure in detail and the results expected. It was the best decision ever. CoolSculpting was nothing but relaxing. The procedure took a total of four hours from beginning to end. The results were beyond my expectation. I highly recommend the procedure and Dr. Zubowski and his staff. He is truly a gifted surgeon and his staff knowledgeable and professional.
Had CoolSculpting done two months ago to my abdomen and love handles. I work out often, but I had two problem areas that I could never lose the weight in. I am only 2 months post-op but i definitely see results already. I just had my first post-op photos taken this week and you can see such a difference from the before photos. The best part was getting to sick back on a recliner with my computer during the procedure. Dr. Zubowski is a great doc. The only discomfort I felt was after five days, which consisted of mild soreness. I would highly recommend this treatment!
Scars from lovenox injections throughout pregnancies, gained weight, loose skin on abs. Felt self consciousness and uncomfortable in clothes. Muffin top is not cute! Decided to go in gor a consult for liposuction and tummy tuck. Helped me decide what woul be best go me and my health issues. I have 2 toddlers. Had to prepare to have 2 helpers watch me and kids for wek one and hubby for week 2. Updated on 10 Apr 2015: Looking swollen....take a look at pics. Feeling sluggish and onky minor pains. I got my first drain taken out day 7, second drain taken out day 9 and finally got to take a shower last night!!!!! I actually weighed myself and I am down 5 lbs. the doc told me most can expect to weigh more and not be able to fit into their clothes pre-op. My clothes are a little looser and I lost a few punds so far. Aware that the weight and bloated feeling can change daily in the upcoming months. Returning back to work on Monday. Feeling a little anxious about that. How will I make it through the day? Updated on 29 Apr 2015: Feeling good. Doc told me to use Mederma with Spf 30 during day and nighttime mederma. Massage lightly!!! I have the ok to workout lightly. Still have days of swelling.
I have been through alot of procedures, 14 years ago I had a brow lift. 12 years ago, lower eye. 8 years ago Contour threadlift ( what a waste)./ sculptra injections left lumps, and had cortisone injections to decrease the lumps only with leaving me atrophied tissue, and big deep wrinkles. I had been told I was not a candidate for facelift because my face is so thin, and thin skinned. but I found a doctor who said that is not a problem . it is 5 weeks today since my facelift, dermabrasion around my mouth, and fat injections in lines above lips. I am so happy with my results. I am positing before and after pictures. also a post of 3 days after the dermabrasion at it's worst. after this picture, I was able to start cleansing and it looked better immediately. the operation was 5 hours, I recuperated overnight at the surgical center, nurses were wonderful. I drains in back of head was my worst pain. they don't tell you everything. but, I have to say, now that it is over, I would do it again if I had to. still have numbness in cheeks, under chin, and ears. have deep pink coloring around my mouth which I use dermablend and a few other foundations to cover. went back to work 18 days later. people didn't know what I did, but knew I looked different. and said I looked fantastic!. Updated on 8 Apr 2014: before, during and after Updated on 8 Apr 2014: my before picture that I posted is really bad, I always looked better smiling. so I am adding this "better" before picture
Hi, I had tried everything to soothe the pain in my neck and shoulders...new memory form mattress, acupuncture, pain medications/injections, physical therapy. But the pain persisted. Late last year it was suggested by my orthopedic surgeon that I consider breast reduction. My OB/GYN agreed, as did my pain management physician and dermatologist. I did some research and found Dr. Zubowski (having a practice in Paramas, N.J.) to have an excellent reputation. I made an appointment and after securing "letters of medical necessity" from my various health providers, as well as Dr. Zubowski's assessment, my health insurer approved the surgery. I waited five months for my surgical date, Dr. Zubowski is THAT busy. During that five month wait, I had access to his staff who are simply terrific. They acquired answered all my questions and even provided materials to assist me in preparing to be as healthy as possible prior to surgery - to help to ensure a strong recovery. Imaging and testing prior to surgery all came back GO and the surgery was performed at their surgical center at commencing at about 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. When I awoke, Christine (who had walked me into surgery - was still at my side) and she remained with me until wheeling me to the door where my two adult sons assisted me into the car at about 9:00 p.m. I had a LOT of support at home, which of course has greatly aided in my recovery. On Thursday, March 20, 2014, the right drain was removed, but the left was still collecting a considerable amount of liquid, so it remained inserted until Monday, March 24, 2014. Donna, the nurse who removed the first drain, noticing I had my eyes clamped shut during examination and the drain removal, was surprised I didn't want to look. I told her I did not want to see the stitches, and she stated there were no stitches to see. I looked down and found there were no stitches visible (not sure why I was expecting railroad-track stitches) there the steri-strips were visible, but overall the "girls" looked pretty terrific! Some heavy bruising started showing on Monday, March 24th, but seemed to abate very quickly, almost entirely gone by Thursday, March 26, 2014. I did not experience ANY serious pain at all, just an overall twitchy feeling, particularly in the appendages. I used a foam wedge (as Dr. Zubowski's staff had recommended) to sleep on my back with lots of pillows all around to keep me in place. Dr. Zubowski's staff had recommended a front opening sports bra to purchase and wear post-surgery. I was able to stop taking pain medication after the removal of the second drain on Monday, March 24, 2014. I have used Tylenol before bedtime (twitching still apparently - but less). My only serious issue has and is my the sudden onset "bone tired" feeling wherein I MUST lay down. Friends and family have arranged to take me out to lunch and a movie, and we are lucky we can get me through lunch! Just going outdoors and engaging in conversation sapped alll my strength. This all-consuming wave of exhaustion is impossible to shake off. It hits hard and fast. Admittedly, while it is still happening, it does not require sleep so much as me to become prone. I see Dr. Zubowski tomorrow morning, and will tell him of the sudden "bone tired" attacks. While I was planning to return to work on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, which would be two weeks to the day following surgery, I tend to think I might need an additional week, when hopefully the "bone tired" attacks will gradually subside and be gone entirely! In closing, my neck and shoulders feel great - I'm thinking I wish I had done this sooner! Ketch
I am 26 years old with two children. I am really sick of having all this excess skin and fat around my midsection. My problem I feel was mostly a hereditary problem. I did not gain too much weight with my pregnancies. With my first, I only gained about 30lbs and with my second 15lbs. But I noticed that right away I started getting a lot of stretch marks. My stomach was just completely covered in them... even my OB/GYN was surprised at how many stretch marks I was getting. After I gave birth my stomach was just out of control and still is. I gained more weight after. It just seemed so pointless my stomach looked exactly the same whether I was 120 or 165. It actually looked slightly better when I was heavier. Now I'm 140 lbs and scheduled my TT with lipo for 9 days from now. I'm really nervous but excited and really looking forward to the procedure... Updated on 23 Apr 2012: I feel like this is all happening so fast! I went to my consultation only last week and my surgery is next Monday. My mother had a TT done before so I always considered getting one when I was done having children. Today I had to go in to get blood work and fill paper/pay. I'm getting really nervous now. I know I am going to really love the results but the thought of the wound and healing freaks me out. I just wanted to be 6 mos. from now when everything is nice and healed and I am enjoying to the results!!! Updated on 24 Apr 2012: So the hubby took a pic of my belly... the previous pics I don't think really captured "the belly" so here goes,,, Updated on 27 Apr 2012: At my preop appt (I guess) the nurse told me to start taking the recovery supplements and taking a shower with hibicleanse three days before surgery, that is today. So today the nurse called again just confirming the surgery time and whether I had any questions. Turns out every single time I am stressed out or worried my body decides to throw me a fast one just to make sure I'm REALLY stressed and I get cold sores not the ones on the lip but the sores on my tongue or on my gums. So the nurse told the Dr and now I'm on Valtrex (for genital herpes) three times a day.... :| has this ever happened to anyone else? Also I has anyone have to do the hibicleanse thing? the directions on the box are not very clear? the nurse said to shower with it but what does that mean? like use it as a bobywash? on the directions it says only use on area where you will be treated. hmmm As an added treat my girls have sore throats with ear infections.... I hope this is not a bad omen! Updated on 29 Apr 2012: OMG! Its here! :D only one more night and thats it! I'm super excited and a little worried! I waited until super late to pick up all the supplies...the hubby just ran out to get the stuff on my list and we now have to do laundry to have everything clean. Well this is it! Now its only after pics for me! Updated on 30 Apr 2012: Officially out of surgery! Yay! I was in horrible horrible pain immediately after... Like worse than anything I had felt but my nurse has been wonderful and I feel waaaay better now! Updated on 2 May 2012: This is my second day home. I can finally speak ! My throat was super dry and sore. The first day after surgery I didn't eat anything because of my throat. I was just texting away since I couldn't talk. The pain meds still have me a little loopy. This morning I woke up later than I needed to so I was late for the pain meds. Not a good thing I felt so awful...even nauseous. I'm trying to walk around but it hurts like a burning pain through the incision. Almost like its going to tear apart! I haven't seen the incision or belly button yet. I peaked a little but its so hard with the garment on. I go in to see the PS on thursday I have to take off the garment wash it/dry it and go in without it on. I'm emptying the drains 3 times a day about 20-40cc. They said they were going to take them out when they have only 30cc in the entire day! Updated on 3 May 2012: This is PO day 4 and my back is killing me I just took the garment off. I was supposed to take it off in the morning wash it take it in with me. I took the chance to take new pics and here goes. This is my after. I'm really swollen but not very bruised. Let me know what you think Updated on 4 May 2012: Today I've been feeling crummy... My surgery was Monday Andi have literally not moved from my couch since I got home. I feel like such a bum just laying here arching my big fat gypsy wedding on TLC. More than anything I feel lonely my girls are with the grandparents... Which is good but I just want to do stuff again :| I'm NOw freaking out about all the money I spent and this long recovery time. I'm not even sure about anything :( Updated on 7 May 2012: Went to the Dr today and finally had my first drain removed! yay! :-) totally agree with all the ladies, I feel so much better now with it off. I'm going back tomorrow to have the second drain removed. The incision is still covered with this clear almost plastic thing... the nurses say its a tape but it looks almost like the liquid silicone things they sell. I'm not sure yet how it will turn out.. I tried on for the first time underwear since the surgery lol Its mostly covered. I'm still walking a little bent and its Killing my back! can't wait for time to pass!!! I want to be back to normal already... I've really been trying to hold back all week. I have been a complete couch potato! ... I think the hubby is getting sick of it too LOL I'll post pictures soon! Updated on 9 May 2012: Some not so great news... So I had one drain removed on Mon and the other remover the following day. So yesterday I finally started to feel normal again and drove myself to have the second drain removed and before than went to grab a lunch with my sister and the kids. By the time I arrived to remove the drain I was super swollen like as swollen as the day following surgery and today I had to sign some important documents and of course I was running late so I had to park the car and speed walk to the place... and now my stomach is massive! I've been putting aquaphor on the BB with qtips and covering it with gauze well yesterday I noticed that the stitches were done with a clear string and two (what I think might be) stitches fell of .. Like it was mostly off and when I touched it it slipped right out of the BB. To make matters worse my BB looks inside like darker skin and the rim of the incision red and angry looking. The bottom part especially looks puffy and almost like bubbly. I'll post picture so you can see. I was going to call today and ask about that but I forgot. Also because I am so swollen in the bottom half ...below the BB ... the bottom part of the incision (where the two stitches fell off) is stretched super tight... like it wants to rip apart. From the very beginning the look of the BB is my biggest concern! Now I feel like I messed it up just because I was over doing it! I'm freaking out. On another note, today in the afternoon it was officially 24 hrs since both drains were removed and I took my first shower since Apr 30.... boy was I feeling nasty and dirty. Its really hard to take it easy when I have to pick up the girls from school and hoof it over to the entrance and of course the darn school has steps and a block of greenery before you get to the kids...and once they are home they are running around the house throwing everything/spilling and causing havoc ... ::sigh:: This is turning out to be a whole lot harder than I expected... even with help... Updated on 18 Jan 2013: Its been about 9 mos since my surgery. I could not be happier with the result. Seeing my before pictures makes me sad. I remembered how upset I would be trying on clothes and just looking at myself in the mirror. I think I avoided looking at myself even when I showered. Not looking at myself just enabled me to gain all the weight. Now I had gone down to 130lbs and since gained 10 back. I'm fit and happy. HAPPY! trying on clothes and putting on moisturizer is not depressing anymore. So here it is my pic
You may be able to achieve more symmetry through liposuction of the right breast depending upon how dense your breast is and the quality of skin. If not, then surgical revision (re-do) of the right breast would be necessary. That being said, some minor asymmetry as very common in a women's breast.
Not to worry It is quite normal to have discomfort and implant movement, especially when performing exercise in which you are isolating the contraction of the pectoralis muscle. Over time while the implants will still move however the discomfort and tightness will abate.
It is difficult to advise you without the benefit of photographs or an examination. However, if you have loose skin under the neck, liposuction alone may not be appropriate as suctioning fat from a loose skin envelope may worsen the problem. Non-invasive skin tightening treatments such as Ulthera, Thermage, Venous Freeze and SMART Lipo vary in there efficacy and predictability. Depending on the severity of your problem and your expectations for tightening, a neck lift or facelift may be necessary. Advice form a board certified plastic surgeon or perhaps a second opinion may help you make your decision.
It is true that swelling of the nasal tip can take up to a year to soften. This is due primarily to the tenuous lymphatic drainage of this area of the nose. Be patient. Light massage may speed up the process a bit but don't expect changes overnight
