Tummy Tuck Revision

Cares about his patients.

Dr. Grant performed a tummy tuck for me some years ago, with good results. Years later, I began to get, "dog ears" on the sides of my abdomen. Dr. Grant performed revision surgery under local anesthesia. He used my old scars to excise skin. I was very happy. He's also done botox and fillers for my face, giving me a natural look. I'm surprised at he negative reviews.

very happ patient - Manhattan, NY

Dr Grant is FABULOUS. He not only listened to me and answered all my questions, but he prepared me for what the recovery time would look like after my procedure so that I felt very confident and prepared going into surgery. The results from my surgery were also even better than I could have imagined. His bedside manner is the best that I have ever seen and now I feel and look great! I recommend him to anyone wanting to have plastic surgery!!!

Consultation review - No Follow Up.

Absolutely awful. Had a 15min consultation for $250. He said he'd have to refer me out to other surgeons for some of the work I had wanted, and he didn't even take photos, which I was told happens when surgery is booked. I guess he's not used to people going any further than a consultation. It's been nearly a month since the consult and still have yet to receive a proposal. I guess this guy's in the business of collecting consult fees of $250 for 15 mins of work.

*Le sigh* I'm currently one month post-op and I'm regretting this entire thing. I feel like I'm not moving towards the results I expected and I just look exactly the same. I'm on this site religiously looking at similar people who've undergone this procedure and I'm just not convinced that my results are the norm. Shouldn't I be seeing some improvement? I don't feel swollen At All. I look exactly the same as I did during my consultation.... That's shouldn't be. I totally understand that I won't have my "final" results at this stage but I don't see any results so far. I highly doubt that I'm going to wait up 6 months from now and just say "hey, it worked!" I have my 1 month post-op appt today. I want to know how much fat was removed and why I'm not seeing any improvements. I feel like even though I got an accredited surgeon to safely perform my procedure he may not have been the best one for the job. Wishing I'd gone with another surgeon, wishing I'd saved my damn money, many people on here have gotten better results for half my costs. Smh so depressed. What a waste. Updated on 4 Jun 2014: Had my one month post op appt yesterday. They basically told me to give it 2 more months which I'm fine with. I've love to see something happen as a result of all of this. Until then I'll keep working out and eating healthy. I'm done 5 pds so far (140).... 10 more to go. Updated on 25 Jun 2014: So I finally got a hold of my records (I wanted to know how much fat was removed during my liposuction). My surgeon has been out of the office since my surgeon, he informed that he was having a surgical procedure. Anyway...he only removed 1 liter from my back and flanks area. Keep in mind that 1 liter also included the solution he had to insert for the procedure. So essentially he removed a approx a pound or a little more from the back/flanks area. Not to say that I'm fat but I definitely had and still have more than a pound of fat to give. So I'm full blown upset with my procedure now. A pound of fat? I could've done that on my own without his "help". My records don't state how much was removed from abdomen, although I feel that it'll be the same amount of fat based on my results. I'm entering month 3 now. I see him at the end of July and I can't wait. No need to post follow-up pix. I look exactly the same and so are my measurements. According to his covering surgeon I'm "still swollen"; although I neither feel nor look swollen. My body looks just the same as it did pre-op.

Office Review - Discrimination - New York, NY

I was rudely spoken to by his staff over the phone. Everything was going well until I mention that I am a trangender man wanting a bilateral mastectomy. I was told "he works on woman , man but nothing in between" what the hell. I am enraged. ;in between" I'm devasted. Totally shock of the unprofessional conversation I just had with his office.
