I am fellowship trained and board-certified in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. I have been performing reconstructive vaginal surgery since 1996, having done 300-500 cases annually since. Just over a decade ago, I decided to further educate myself in cosmetic genital surgery. I trained with and earned certificates with two very experienced and well-known pioneers in vaginal rejuvenation surgery, Dr. David Matlock in Beverly Hills, CA and Dr. Michael Goodman in Davis, CA. I remain in close contact with both and I attend the International Cosmetogynecology Society meetings annually. My care philosophy is different in that I have vaginal reconstruction on over 10,000 women. Adding the cosmetic aspect of this surgery is an extension of this expertise. This advantage of experience allows me to counsel women very appropriately, sometimes employing and sometimes even avoiding a cosmetic aspect, all based on what is best for her and meets her specific needs.
