I've had two procedures done with Dr. Rothfield and I wish I had the budget to do plenty more with him! He always takes the time to listen and explain in detail all the pros and cons and what you can expect. He's never in a rush. His staff is warm and very accommodating. Scheduling an appointment is easy and you don't have to wait ages to get your procedure done. The surgery center he uses is across the hall and once you are there, they make you feel like you are in a spa. I'm not kidding. Everybody is so nice! Great experience all in all.

Dr. Robert Rothfield and his staff delivered the highest level of professionalism, attention, support and patient-centric care all around! I could not be happier with the results and the experience of my breast reduction procedure. Dr. Rothfield was a clear and empathetic communicator from the very initial appointment, addressing all of my questions, concerns, and being very detailed and clear about the process. His office staff is well organized, thorough and will greet you with a smile every time you walk in the door. On surgery date, he made me feel so comfortable and confident in his abilities and his team was in absolute alignment with his work etiquette—kind, serviceable and attentive at all times. As I came out of my surgery and went home that afternoon, I was already so happy seeing (and feeling) the preliminary results, as he clearly captured my wishes around desired breast size. Lastly, the procedure follow up has been impeccable (even via remote appointments, as I reside in a different state) and I feel like he is a true partner along the way, as I embark in the process of healing. I could have not imagined a better, more talented, more qualified surgeon in my journey towards a more comfortable and confident self. Thank you Dr. Rothfield and team for making it a reality!

I have had 'Breast Implant Illness'-related issues for years (rashes and other skin issues, inflammation, breast pain) and I felt strongly that, after 19 years (which is WAY too long btw) I wanted my implants taken out. Especially after doing a platinum hair test confirmed that there was a strong possibility that my implants were leaking. Even if your implants are still intact, that doesn't mean that there are no toxins released in your body. And in my case my fears were confirmed, because after the explant surgery and capsulectomy I learned that one of my (cohesive gel) silicone implants were completely raptured. Dr. Rothfield removed the implants and all the capsule tissue as well.

Dr. Rothfield was recommended to me by the PA at my general doctor's office and I was planning on having consults with different plastic surgeons. But after my initial consult with Dr. Rothfield I decided to cancel all other appointments and move forward.

What was very important to me in the decision-making was:
1) that Dr. Rothfield did not try to convince me to replace my implants
2) he has a lot of experience and great reviews
3) there was no long waiting list (because I wanted them out ASAP)
4) that his staff is very attentive and friendly. Every appointment I had I never had to wait, which is unique nowadays ;-)

It's been the BEST decision I made for my health; I am no longer dealing with the health issues that I was suffering from for years which is the most important thing for me. And that after only a month... I can't wait to see how I feel in a couple of months!

As a former fitness model, my appearance has always been very important to me and so I was a bit fearful about how everything would look after the explant. And I am so pleased with the outcome; hardly noticeable scars (because I did not need a lift) and they actually look great. I still have a nice small C cup after having a DD cup for nearly 20 years.

The reason why I am writing this long review is that I wish there were more explant reviews online, and if anyone reading this is doubting doing an explant as well: Dr. Rothfield is your go-to surgeon. The recovery is very different than implant surgery, less painful and I was back in the office within a week. I was able to work from home while I was recovering so it also did not affect my work too much.

I wish I would have done this 10 years earlier! Thank you Dr. Rothfield.

I chose Dr Rothfield because of his skill and the treatment you receive from him and his staff. They are attentive and caring. I am 24 5,4 125-130 pounds and i chose 350cc with my inspo pics to also help make me symmetrical i was given 350cc and 375cc. I am experiencing almost zero pain, and no bruising. He truly has a gentle touch. I couldn't be happier with my results and it's only day 2. I will continue to update photos!

This was the easiest procedure and recovery i have ever been though. I would have 100 Breast augmentations before i ever had another kidney stone. Day 6 post op I’ve started to drive, I’ve been shopping at the mall and done lots of walking. They have an amazing natural feeling already. Even went to brunch with friends on day 5 post op. I couldn’t be happier and more grateful for my results.

Dr. Rothfield, I can only thank you for being an immense part in how my life has changed since the day of my surgery, in areas such as: my marriage, my self-consciousness, my image!

After having 4 babies in 5 years, and breastfeeding all of them, i needed help and a change. But I too was so scared, and thinking of a breast augmentation was kind of a taboo for me.

I had my first consultation, not knowing what to expect and not fully convinced if I wanted to have surgery but everything changed when I met Dr. Rothfield, not him persuading me to have surgery, but rather his experience, his knowledge, and honesty with me that was such an impact in me taking the decision.

The day of surgery came, and it was a smooth day and process, i had almost no bruising, no bleeding, i didnt even took any drug medication for pain, only motrin to control the aches. At 5 days from surgery i was already feeling normal and with no pain.

The office staff is amazing, all of the ladies working there truly care for you, are kind, and are so well organized and Dr. Rothfield is so professional, respectful, and straightforward.

My results are amazing, better than what i expected, its almost as if my implants have always been part of me, and look amazing! I am so happy!

The outcome of my breast augmentation surgery was better than ever anticipated. I’m so happy I trusted Dr. Rothfield’s advice on going bigger (425cc) as well as the type of incision. I live in Boston full time and Dr. Rothfield made it extremely easy to schedule all my appointments in advance and take any questions over the phone prior to flying down for the procedure. We had a lengthy phone call before I decided to fly down and he was answering all my questions before I could ask them. Anytime I called or had questions I was met with detailed information.

The day of operation I was mostly with the surgery center nurses who were great in prepping me. Dr Rothfield offered me to play music during pre-op to make me feel comfortable. He and the nurses truly made me feel so cared for and taken care of.

In all of the post-ops he’s been very succinct which has been great as I’m in and out of the office in 15 minutes. It’s so nice to have a doctor that actually takes my appointment on time and I don’t have to take hours off of work to go to. If I have any additional questions I can always call the office.

The entire staff was so helpful in the whole process, from start to finish. I always felt very comfortable and safe, and am overall so very happy with my end results! I hope Dr. Rothfield is still practicing in 10-15 years when I get them redone because I’ll be coming back here!

I got a breast reduction. From day 1, the doctor made sure to explain everything thoroughly and answer any question. I was not nervous for surgery because he went above and beyond to make sure I knew what to expect/prepare me. Dr. Rothfield and his staff are all amazing and very attentive. They have always accommodated to any request I've had. Surgery went super smooth and every follow up appointment has been helpful. They also have made themselves available for any concerns in between appointments and really helped me navigate through my recovery. And his work? Looks amazing and was mostly painless!! I could not recommend enough.

I wanted to express what a wonderful experience I had with Dr. Rothfield. He was kind, patient, and made me feel comfortable about my tummy tuck procedure. He took the time to explain everything in full detail and really gave me reassurance. His bedside manner is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. 

I highly recommend him without hesitation. I'm the happiest I’ve been in years! The staff was very warm and friendly too! All around such a positive experience.

I got a breast augmentation and could not have asked for a better doctor, staff or results! I am one month post-op and am in love with my results. Dr. Rothfield is beyond competent and caring. Everyone involved with the process was so helpful and nice. Dr. Rothfield listened to my concerns and even adjusted the kind of implant I wanted because I had fears about silicone (which is completely safe I just felt more comfortable with saline). The medical staff the day of surgery was sweet and kind and I feel like I chose the best practice ever. Any other cosmetic procedure that I have will be done with Dr. Rothfield.

From start to finish, Dr.Rothfield as been spectacular. My husband and I have both had work done by him and we are very impressed by his professionalism and kindness. He really cares about your concerns and has all the answers. All of the ladies in the office are wonderful as well. I am extremely happy with my results and could not feel more confident.
