Im currently taking 40 mg 2xs daily of zenatane. Im on a 5 month course. ......on my 6th week. At around week 4ish, i noticed an itchy, dry scaling rash developing on my wrists & back of hands. Some areas look similar to a ringworm so i started using topical antifungal cream. Is this common? Has anyone else experienced something like this and what treatment did you find most effective. Thanks
Typically a tazorec induced flare would last a week or two. If your acne is still active, I would consider other options such as oral antibiotics or blue light therapy. Also you should be evaluated for underlying causes of acne such as hormones etc. If you are a woman, have you ever been on birth control pill?
