I am three weeks post op and I can not say enough about Dr Ethridge, his staff and my overall experience. At the end of the day this is still surgery, and healing from it is no walk in the park but choosing Dr Ethridge was the best decision I could make. He is caring, compassionate, takes all the time in the world to answer my questions, walks me through everything and even calms me down in my high anxiety episodes. Great results so far, no issues!
I've used Dr E for years and he has done a great job on all my procedures. He always lets me come in and checks out all of my concerns. The staff is very helpful and friendly too. I am about to have the new facetite procedure done. They have answered all my questions like they always do. I highly recommend him!
I'm new to Ft Worth and had been looking for a plastic surgeon for a long overdue breast lift and revision. Following is an update of my decision process, subsequent surgery, and healing process thus far with Dr. Ethridge and all of his staff: A little background... I am from a small town. My physicians/pharmacist/and other health care professionals were like members of my family. I knew they had a personal investment in me and my well-being. Fast forward now to living in Fort Worth. This year, I had an issue that needed to be resolved by a plastic surgeon. I began my search blindly. I asked for many referrals; I interviewed several physicians, and ultimately decided on Ethridge Plastic Surgery. After interviewing, fact-finding and pouring through tons of before and after studies and patient satisfaction accounts, AND a very comprehensive consultation strictly dedicated to me, I chose Dr. Ethridge - not just for his skill set but the level of patient care he and his staff provided. I was not treated like a number there. They didn't shuffle me through in between other patient consults and try to schedule me before I left the building or follow up with unsolicited calls and/or letters. I wasn't left uncomfortably waiting in an exam room in a robe while the doc came in and out all the while attending to other prospective clients simultaneously. I made my decision based on my needs for more than simply a brilliant surgeon. I felt heard, valued, understood, and supported throughout the entire process, particularly in aftercare. I wasn't passed off to someone on call. If I had a question or concern the office got back to me with the information immediately to include after hours and weekends. Long story short, any surgical procedure is scary. If you are like me and are looking for not just phenomenal work but genuine all encompassing patient care - Ethridge Plastic Surgery is the place to go. My results are so much more than I had hoped for. Beautiful falls short as a descriptor. Disclaimer - I'm not dispersing any negativity about any other plastic surgeons I researched, met with, or that were recommended to me as they are all excellent surgeons as well. I'm merely sharing the peace of mind that I received with my choice, procedure, results, and care in hopes that it may help another on their journey. Best of luck to those this applies to and I can't resist closing with best of boobs as well!
Dr Etheridge and his staff are awesome. I'm 16 days post op and I would recommend him to everyone! Dr Etheridge is truly one of the most calming people I've ever met. His confidence, skill level and knowledge let me know instantly that I had found the right surgeon.
I saw dr. Ethridge about a week ago for my consultation. Aside from being super cute! He was very friendly and had a great bedside manner. We both agreed on a Brazilian butt lift to give my booty More of a full shape. I didn't have a whole lot of fat to extract to begin with so I knew my but wouldn't change much other than just look a lot more plump. Sinnoh Kim Kardashian booty here! I did ask him to take pictures During the procedure so I could see what to expect before the swelling sets in. I'm super excited. I think my pictures look awesome and can't wait to see the finished result. all reviews I read said it would be more painful than breast augmentation, however I'm not sure if it's due to the anaesthesia from this morning. The anaesthesia was given about 12 hours ago so I would assume it had worn off by now... I will update more as I can. I would definitely recommend dr. Ethridge! Updated on 21 Sep 2016: So I was totally drugged up last night LOL and completely forgot to post my pictures during surgery. This morning, drugged up again LOL I posted a whole new review with a whole new set of pictures. So if you want to see more pictures head on over to my other review it should be approved by the end of the day I would think. Sorry for the inconvenience, hydrocodone sure takes its toll on a person I guess LOL Updated on 22 Sep 2016: 14 hours after my procedure I finally get to take a shower! Take off my tummy binder and instantly had a panic attack. So I put it right back on LOL I think something about that thing was holding me up in a sense. Once I took it off I felt superlite and had a pitted feeling in the bottom of my stomach, I think something about that thing was holding me up in a sense. Once I took it off I felt super light and had a pitted feeling in the bottom my stomach, took a few minutes and got my heart rate under control decided to try one more time. The second time was much better, and oh my God that shower! It was like heaven, I didn't want to leave LOL. Snapped a quick photo for you guys. I'm not super-excited about my current shape, I feel like my rear end is smaller than I would like and I feel like my midsection is larger LOL but Dr Ethridge assured me that it was going to look like this, so it's not like I didn't know what I was getting myself into. The swelling in the midsection won't go down for about 6 months, but I can see that it's at least flat. My bottom on the other hand could be bigger. But like I said, I'm sure I didn't give him enough to work with to begin with. laying on my stomach has become agonizing, walking around is okay. The pain is not too terrible however I cannot take my hydrocodones. So Tylenol is what I'm resorting to. Updated on 23 Sep 2016: so we are three days in to my Brazilian transformation! Swelling seems to be about the same. Snapped some more photos for you guys! I wanted to show you the things that I've been using to help me through this healing process. the first of which is the tan garment that I'm wearing. This came custom with the BBL from dr. Ethridge. I'm also using a waist cincher on top of that I ordered this one off wish it was about $10. But the thing I'm most excited about is my booty buddy! It did set me back about $90, but I feel comfortable sitting without squishing my new booty. I do still feel like my bottom is much smaller than I had expected, but once again Dr Ethridge reminded me that as my swelling goes down in my waist the projection of my bottom will be more. Also I did ask how many cc's when it to each butt cheek, and he had told me was about a hundred and fifty. So I guess it's just a waiting game from here on out. Updated on 2 Oct 2016: so I wanted to update everybody. Soreness is 100% gone, I feel great and I'm ready to exercise. I see the doctor tomorrow and hope I get the go-ahead... StairMaster here I come! My stitches has seemed to start dissolving already. The scar seems like it will be non existent. So I snapped a few pics of the scars for you to see as well as a side profile, it appears as though a lot of my swelling has gone down and settled at the base of my belly. there are knots where the swelling is that feel sort of hard looks like that but not pinchable, so I'll have to talk to the doctor about that tomorrow. I had read some things online saying that the water can settle and looks like that but not pinchable, so I'll have to talk to the doctor about that tomorrow. I had read some things online saying that the water can settle and cause fibrosis in the area, I hope that's not the case. I had also read things about getting lymphatic drainage massages to help with this however dr. Ethridge suggested I do not get any lymphatic massages. I'll update you guys on what he says tomorrow. But so far I'm super excited my results, I think my tummy should look smaller. But I know the swelling could last up to 6 months so I'm holding on to that! y'all have any questions or any pictures you need me a snap for you let me know I'll be more than happy to! Updated on 6 Oct 2016: So it has been just under 3 weeks, I started exercising 3 days ago and a lot of the fluid has gone down. I'm not sure if it's due to the exercising, but I'm starting to really love my results. It's nice to know that if this is how I look just 3 weeks out, I still have a ways to go before I reach that 4 to 6 month Mark... so how awesome will I look then? so far I am enjoying the results of this more than my breasts. I'm super excited to see what the future holds. You'll have to excuse the pictures, my husband works out of state and these photos were taken for him. However I thought I would share them with you guys to show you how great I am feeling. I feel sexy for the first time in a long time. Sleeping in lingerie, wearing sexy panties under my clothes. For the longest time I've just felt like a mom, with Mom body, but now I feel young and sexy again! Updated on 6 Oct 2016: forgot to add, I have a six pack again! Updated on 16 Jan 2017: So first let me start with the good. I think my body looks great! While my butt isn't exactly what I'd hoped it would be, I am more slender and athletic now. That being said I do believe this is a result from me dieting and exercising versus the fat transfer. My reasoning behind that is I have been dating for the past four months and exercising at least 5 days a week. I have managed to lose 15 pounds since my surgery, and seeing as you should not lose much weight after fat transfer, I am concluding that this is from diet and exercise. The bad, a lot of places that were like oh I still have a lot of fat, and my buttocks has completely gone back to its original shape. I now have the dumpling in the sides of my buttocks that I had before, and my butt is not as full or firm. I mentioned this at the last office visit and dr. E. assured me I was seeing things. I'd like to also add at my initial consultation he told me that having gluteal implants was not a possibility as it is unsafe and doctors do not do it anymore... that being said I have been researching this now for 4 months, not only do many doctors still perform gluteal implants which is what I initially wanted, but MOST doctors still perform this procedure. And having gone to several consultations with these doctors, it is a perfectly safe procedure. This leads me to believe that dr. E. does not do booty implants, but he still wanted my money so he told me that no one else does them either, that makes me feel financially raped. I'm very upset at this.
I sort of stumbled upon this doctor he was down the hall from my PCP. I then looked him up on Yelp and he had great reviews everywhere. They scheduled me within a week of my phone call. I checked out there Facebook and they had a special which gave me a free area of Dysport in my case my 11's. Perfect as I had wanted to try that as well but only had budget for one or the other. I was about 5 minutes late to my appointment. The staff was prompt and friendly. I wasn't really nervous. I met the doctor and he was really sweet. Calm and confident. Not pushy. I had not planned on having anything done just a consult. I was so pleased with the doctor's demeanor and his friendly staff. I decided to go for it! They numbed me and I waited for a little longer than I expected which gave me a bit of time to begin to reconsider. The nurse reassured me it would be just a bit longer. The doctor came in shortly after that and apologized sincerely. He stated that I had only stated a consult when I booked which was true. I think I was just getting a little fearful sitting in the room over thinking it. He did tell me that with Dysport it would not take immediately and he didn't want me to be disappointed or be upset. It takes 5-7 days to see the results. I so appreciated that! I had read before but it was nice to hear it from him. He said the filler would last 9-12 months wow!! He took his time injecting me and would step back to look and see where he needed to place the Restylane, his nurse took a look as well. I was impressed that they worked together to get the best results. The Dysport was no problem, not painful at all. One side of the Restylane hurt a little bit when he injected it. His nurse gave me a cold compress and rubbed some arnica gel on to each spot. The results from the Restylane were so quick I could not stop smiling when I looked in the mirror as soon as I got into the car! Oh my gosh. Just a subtle fill. I had stressed to the staff and doctor that it could not be a stark difference. My husband would freak out!! It looked great!! I will be back to do upper cheeks. The Dysport I swear I could see a difference 5 hours later. I phoned the office to let them know how pleased I was and ask about the Dysport possibly taking effect immediately! She said I was NOT the first one to have said that. So who knows maybe?! I am so excited to have found an incredible doctor and staff. I sent pictures to my little sister and she noticed the slight difference in my nasolabial folds. I am trying to get her to go with me next time, he is that great!!! So glad I waited and went to this great doctor instead of a groupon or spa!! The only downside a headache all day after the Dysport and around my mouth is sore, slight burning this morning where Restylane went in. So far no follow up, not that I had major work done. So maybe not a big deal. I can't wait to go back, I think I may be hooked!! I would have gone back in and had my upper cheeks done this week if I had enough money saved up.
I was scared to death and really did not want a lift but knew for my desired look/outcome I would need it. Dr. Ethridge came as a referral from my gf. One consult with him and I did not see any other Drs. He confirmed my need for the lift but really explained and answered all of my questions and calmed my fears. I just think my experience was far better and so grateful I did not see anyone else. I can't say enough about him, my experience, his staff, .... Blew my expectations away. In retrospect, I can't believe how scared I was and week 1 couldn't be happier! I even drive from Dallas over 45 miles each way and would happily drive 100 for Dr. Ethridge. He's a fellow Texan, fellow dog lover and very easy to talk to. ??
So I'm 23 years old and in live in Dallas,Tx. Right now I'm a 34A and I've always wanted to be bigger. Everyone in my family has great breasts but me. I've finally found a doctor that is nice, has great reviews, and a reasonable price! I've chosen Dr.Ethridge of Ft.Worth,Tx. I went to his office which is in a medical plaza downtown Ft.Worth. It was nice and clean and the staff was awesome. I've read several reviews about Dr.Ethridge and everyone seemed to be pleased. When he came in he was very nice and professional. NO BS rambling, he was straight to the point and direct which I loved. The next week I scheduled my appt. (you have to put $500 down to save the date) That 500 goes towards the surgery so don't be turned off by that. I'm gonna go with a gummy bear implant, behind the muscle. My surgery is scheduled for May 15th. Which is right around the corner. I can't wait!! I will post before photos soon! Updated on 10 May 2015: So I totally forgot to post before pics, so here they are. As you can my breast are really small! 32A! Some people are okay with smaller breasts, but not I said the fly. Lol I'm 4 days away from my surgery and I can not wait! I'm still debating on how big I want to go I just don't want them to be too big for my frame. Updated on 10 May 2015: Let new know what you guys think! These are some photos of what I like and what I want to go for. I'm 5'3- 136 lbs, more of an athletic shape- track body. Updated on 16 May 2015: It's 8am. And I'm in uncomfortable pain. The wrap they put you in is tight and it's making my back hurt, but it'll be worth it. Today I go see the doctor at 10. Sleeping is very uncomfortable because you have to sleep at an angle which is giving me neck cramps. Anybody have any suggestions for that? I'm excited to see what's under the wraps!! The surgery process went smooth everyone was very polite and helpful. Ft. Worth surgery center is amazing. The meds work fine just wish they would let me sleep longer!! I feel exhausted. Updated on 17 May 2015: It's been 2 days since I've had the surgery. I'm kind of iffy about if I like them or not. I think they look good, but I think they may be a bit too small. I told the Dr that I didn't want them to be huge but I think I may of put too much emphasis on that hahaha. I'm trying to be hopeful of the results. As for pain, it's not as bad as it was the 1st day but the soreness is still there. If you take the meds provided you'll def be fine. Getting up is a struggle but I have a little help so it's fine. I'm just hoping that I get the size that I want. Sighhhhh Updated on 25 May 2015: I'm 10 days post op....I'm able to do a lot more. Still a little sore especially on the sides. Driving is kind of annoying because my side boob is still tight. I'm happy with the results I just can't wait to see them drop more because I was going for a tear drop/natural look. I'm still having to sleep at an angle, but not completely upright like before. Blah blah I know yal just want to see pics. If you have any questions feel free to ask!! :) Updated on 4 Sep 2015: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY BOOBS!!!! I can do everything as if I haven't even had surgery! I havent told a lot of people that I've had the surgery, most think I just bloomed late. THEY REALLY LOOK THAT NATURAL!!! My mom said they even feel like real breast and she cant tell that there is an implant in. I got the "gummy bear" implant. I love the way they look! In and out of clothes!! The recovery was good. I had to take my time to go back and do alot of things that required upper body movement, which was fine. I just started going back to gym (not frequently haha) last month. I just do light work on the upper body. I just dont want to risk anything happening. The first 2 weeks of recovery were the worst for ME. This may not be the same with everyone else. I'm just a busy body so I didnt like taking it easy, but rest and relaxation is key to this recovery. You dont want to risk anything bad happening. PLEASE TAKE IT EASY- YOUR HEALTH IS IMPORTANT!!! Everyone, including myself thinks they look good in a swimming suit. I had the surgery in May and that was perfect timing for swimsuit season. I think April would of be more ideal if you're cutting it close in time frame for summer. Some people may think that getting breast implants is shallow. I believe if you think they're going to make you feel better then you should get them. I never liked having small breasts (not that there is anything wrong with them), but I wanted to feel confident FOR MYSELF! Only do it for yourself. You dont want to resent yourself or anyone else down the road. I feel that you should be comfortable with who you are before you get the surgery, boobs arent going to make you feel any better if you dont already love yourself. I'm not trying to sound all preachy but I just had to put it out there. And for any one else that thinks getting boobs is shallow, dumb, or degrading......kiss our butts! We look good!!!! lol I couldnt be happier with my new girls! lol I wish I would of went a tiny tad bit bigger but I do like them! The scars are healing great as well. Thanks to "salve"- I got it at Cracker Barrel, salve is an old timey scar cream/paste. My mom used to put it on us all the time when we were little. Let me know if you want any other details about anything and I'll respond. Updated on 4 Sep 2015: Here are a couple photos from my phone. I think I need to take more pictures. I dont have a lot of shirts that show cleavage, guess I should upgrade. haha!
Where to begin? Dr Ethridge was amazing. I was very nervous and confused as to which surgery I would have after my cancer diagnosis. I was given a choice between two different types of surgery and after giving me very detailed information on both, I was able to make an informed decision that I felt comfortable with. He was so calm, confident and reassuring. He knew that my surgery was not an elective one and was very compassionate about my situation. Dr Ethridge helped me to feel comfortable during a very emotional time in my life. His office is very clean and his staff is awesome. I would recommend him to anyone that needed a plastic surgeon.
After having two children I decided to have my breasts lifted with implants placed. Dr. Ethridge did a lollipop lift with 465 cc high profile sientra silicone implants. I am 6 weeks post op and I have loved them since day one. He did a great job and he made me feel very comfortable. He has the best bed side manner and I would recommend him to anyone I know.
