I thought the consult went well. He was straight to the point ( I am a nurse so he talked a bit more straightforward with me) and there was no mashing or over-handling of my breasts. He talked with me about my symptoms for a bit, then made a few measurements of my breasts. After that, the nurse had me take a few photos. Two weeks after my consult, I was approved! There was only a hiccup with the financial aspect and not knowing what to pay, but I believe that was more on Medical City Frisco than his office. The morning of surgery Dr. Ha came in about an hour before and made his markings. He was very personable, in his own way. We're were making jokes about Dr. Phil and although he wasn't smiling or laughing a whole lot, I could tell he was being personable. After that, the anesthesiologist came in and gave me some feel goods, I kissed my family, and the rest was history. I woke up in recovery with no boobs! I first saw them the morning after, when they were removing my JP drains. He had me stay overnight in Medical City. They looked great, swollen and somewhat triangular, but great incisions and nipples. I was pleased. I am now 4 days post op with a little bruising, but they are falling into a nice shape. Better than I could've dreamed. So far, I am more than pleased with his work. There are two "dimples" on my sides, under the very ends of my incisions and my post op is on Tuesday, so I will ask about them and update then! I definitely would recommend him almost based solely on his office. When Medical City tried to give me some trouble about payment, Leslie from his office went GANGSTER. She called them and told me to show up for my surgery and it would all work out.. and it did. She has been fantastic throughout this whole thing. Medical City people were my only complaints. I wasn't given an incentive spirometer and developed a touch of pneumonia. This is where Christy, from Dr Ha's office, comes in. She was staying in touch with the ER and checking on me until we found out what was wrong. I definitely feel like his office is THERE for you. Dr Ha is a busy man, so to base his practice on him not answering your calls, I think would be silly. If you want to feel taken care of.. go to Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute and use him. Wonderful people and so far-- wonderful results.
I breastfed my daughter for over 16 months, and have had chronic mastitis for 2 years. My breast specialist informed me that a reduction would help me out alot. Dr. Ha office is not courteous or friendly. Christina a nurse there is horrible she is very rude and unhelpful. I could not get my pre approval letter sent out.
Bellafill is indicated to last through 5 years in a FDA approved clinical trial with 1,008 patients. It's been studied longer and on more patients than any other dermal filler. Bellafill is made of bovine collagen (which gives the immediate results) and pmma microspheres (which stimulates your body to make collagen over time). As your body breaks down the bovine collagen, it's stimulated by the microspheres to make your own collagen filling the space where the bovine collagen was.
