Dr Ravi is amazing! I have been thinking of doing this surgery for so long but there has always the issue of where and the cost. I made an appointment with Dr Ravi after hearing some reviews from others and he made me feel so comfortable and at ease that there was nothing left but to go ahead and lock it in. He is so down to earth and affordable and even post surgery, Easter Sunday, when the office was closed over the long weekend that I had to change my dressings at home. I was worried about a certain area so I called his direct number and he was more than happy to talk to me, I sent him photos and he talked me through what to do. Above and beyond treatment. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner.
Dr Ravi is the most lovely person you could ever find .i had been wanting a tummy tuck and larger breast for over 20 years .So i started looking into it i found Ravi who lives in Darwin i really looked into it before i made an appointment to see him. Normally in the Northern Territory you have to travel interstate it was great i could have it done here and not travel . My first appointment i was so comfortable with Ravi it was great he answered all my questions i also told him my Husband wanted to meet and have a chat so by all means he said yes please so here are my photos it was done over 4 years ago and i am still very happy Updated on 29 Aug 2018: I will post some photos of updated as its been 5 years since i had it done still very happy ,but i have to admitted i was not ready for the pain of the tummy tuck . i can still remember the burning and not being able to stand up right for at least 4 weeks .in the end it was well worth it
Had been considering TT on and off for 10+ years and finally took the plunge. Generally fit,A little on the heavy side but after 3 kids I couldn't budge my fat tummy. Not wanting to look like a model, just have a flat tummy! I couldn't be happier so far with my ps and procedure. In hospital for 7 days In a LOT of pain first few times getting up to use toilet, had a she wee which helped. Off heavy pain meds days 2, feeling much better every day First bm day 3, after taking magnesia Slept through nightfrom day 4 Noticed swelling on and above mons from around day 9 A bit harder at home than anticipated but gets better every day 12 days po able to sleep on side comfortably Went back to work 12 days po, swelling quite a bit 13 days po can lay straight in bed Updated on 1 Jul 2015: I have a seroma which was picked up 16 days po. It's been drained a few times. No infection or anything, feeling good. Really moving around better but still get tired easily. People are really noticing the change, it's lovely! Still swollen but that's to be expected
I am 2 weeks post op and could not be happier, not only with my results so far, but also with Dr Mahajani's fantastic service. My scar/ incision is straight and thin and my belly button is perfect. I absolutely love my results and i am continuing to heal really well. I have some swelling but this is normal and I can't wait for it to go down and have my results improve even more. Dr Mahajani is such a kind and caring man. His work is fantastic and he and his staff are all so friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone in Darwin needing a plastic surgeon. I will definitely be going to them again in the future if need be. Updated on 31 Jul 2013: Updated on 3 Aug 2013: Updated on 11 Sep 2013: So I am now over 8 weeks post-op and feeling great, everything has healed incredibly well, my scar is starting to flatten out in place and I have just stopped wearing my compression garment without noticing any dramatic impact on the swelling. Still have some swelling just above the incision and around the belly button - but I think I am the only one who can actually see it or feel it. Still have numbness around my belly button too and have been battling ingrown hairs on or close to the incision line, which are really just annoying me more than anything else. Has anyone else had this problem? I am trying some creams to prevent and treat them but I don't think its doing anything. I am back at work, and back to normal activities and feeling pretty good - still get the occasional pull or tug along the incision when doing something physical, which doesn't exactly feel quite normal or pleasant, but its not painful. Just got to get used to the tighter stomach i guess! I am also now standing up completely straight which took a lot longer than i thought it would. It was probably between the 6-8 week mark that I have been able to completely stretch out completely without feeling resistance or pulling. I have some minor dimpling on the scar ends which have already improved quite a lot in the last few weeks since starting massage on the scar (see pics). I might look at revision down the track if they don't completely disappear, but right now they don't bother me and even if they were to improved even just a little bit more (which i think they will) it probably wouldn't be necessary. My bellybutton also looks great, its such a neat, tidy little oval scar that I don't think I will even be able to see eventually. I massage the scars at least once a day with oil and have been doing so since the 6 week mark and already see improvements. I had my 6 week post-op check a few weeks ago and Dr Mahajani was very happy with the results and praised me on how well the scar looked. He said that I had done a great job... I had to laugh and say well no it was actually him that did the great job! He is such a nice man. So for now its just massage once a day and back to my normal routines. I am so glad I had the surgery and I think I still have some improving to look forward to, mainly when the swelling has gone completely and when the scars fade more... but it all takes time so until then i will just keep looking forward to that.
Okay, well 20 years ago I had 220cc Saline anatomical breast implants, over the pectoral muscles. I had finished breast feeding my two boys and whilst my 'girls' were not deflated or ugly, I felt I had lost fullness in the upper side of nipples and my right one would dimple/ripple when I lay flat. On the 14th Feb 2013 I underwent a revision (out with the old, in with expanders) because i'd had a daughter 8 years after first surgery and breast fed. Today I went back for stage 2 and was fitted with Mentor 322 moderate height anatomical silicon, 330cc under the pectoral muscle. I chose anatomical as they give a natural fall look and 20 years of same and no one ever knew, comments were that after 3 kids I still had lovely boobs!! It's day one but I'm happy as and happy to answer any and all questions!! Happy Dayz Lili Updated on 28 Feb 2013: 1st March, 9 days post op and the girls are strap free and having their first proper shower! I've had so many comments saying how NATURAL my lovelies look, I hope you think so too ;)))))
