Dr. Barnett is the best

Dr. Barnett is the best! He did my first Breast augmentation surgery in 2006 and just one week ago I had my revision surgery and I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. His office staff is also super friendly and helpful I highly recommend Dr. Barnett.

Lip injections, 2 full syringes.

I had my first syringe done on Jan 10th when I did my re augmentation, I defiantly needed more on the upper lip, my surgeon added a full syringe to both lips, second syringe left me a little shell shocked. Second injection was Jan 23rd, the swelling the next few days was horrible. Much worst than just the one syringe. Tomorrow will be a full week. Still lots of swelling and unevenness, they are a little uncomfortable, however very worth it. I am excited for the swelling and unevenness to go away, I will update.

I would highly recommend Dr Randall Barnett at alpine plaistic surgery. The staff was amazing friendly and willing to answer all question. Works well with you. Dr Barnett himself is kind and straight to the point and its only been a few days post op but I already love them!! The wait time is minimal, and the office is relaxing and well put together. The staff is really sweet Updated on 16 Nov 2015: So it took me a while to finally upload pictures of the results but I absolutely love my boobs :) I ended up being a 34DDD. bigger than I was originally going for but no complaints. Everything looks and feels natural!

Tummy Tuck with Extended Scar, Arm Lipo, Upper Ab Liposuction - Ogden, UT

FIVE STARS!! So, because I am a fairly new yelp user I am learning that my clients who leave me positive reviews and are also fairly new don't leave me less than 4 stars do not get their review "recommended". I sorta hate yelp for this reason. They believe that a 5 star review must be fake. Or a new user must be leaving fake reviews. For that reason I selected 4 stars here although if I though a 5 star would be 'acceptable' to Yelp standards I would mark 5. But that is a rant in and of itself. Wish I could RATE Yelp! LOL Anyway, this is going to be sort of lengthy but here goes. I have had 3 C sections and had a tummy tuck between my second and third child. I have several friends who have used Dr Barnett for their body work procedures including the extended TT which I wanted so I chose him. When he did my initial surgery he found that my previous abdominal tightening inside was still in tact and therefore did not re-tie those muscles and did not remove my belly button and the skin below it. He opted instead due to what he perceived as good elasticity to only tighten below my belly button and and then did the extended scar around the sides to give it a smooth transition all around. I also had him do a n inner thigh lift and lipo of the upper arm because my arms are always larger on top than at the elbow no matter how thin I am and I have always hated it. He did the arm lipo for free because I was paying for the other procedures ( a multiple procedure discount ) and he also revised scars around my areola from a breast lift I had years prior that had left really ugly scars- he did this free of charge as well. So, final result of that surgery was great in some ways not so great in others. The not so good...My inner thighs still remained loose near the upper part of my knee and when I bent over or sat down I still had skin that folded and rolled on my upper abdomen. The good...My areola scar revision was perfect, you can hardly tell I ever had that surgery... my arms look fabulous... My waist, front to back; side to side was contoured like I had never seen before. I have always been someone who “didn't really have a butt” and “didnt really have a waist” When I am thin, I look like a gymnast, very straight and small and stocky; when I am heavy I look very thick waisted and stocky. All of a sudden, I am not that person anymore. My body had curves. I had something that looked like a butt and something that looked like curvy hips and a waist that contoured in- no matter what I weighed! That was like- MIRACULOUS! And honestly because I was enjoying my new shape so much I had a hard time wanting to go under the knife again for the sagging and rolling. He had said ( and most doctors should tell you this ) that they always have to go in a second time and touch up lipo. They have to hit high spots again and sometimes fill in low spots a little. To understand why you need to look up and see how its done. SO, I reluctantly made my revision appointment, after all... all he could say was no right? I was so nervous because I had actually read a few negative reviews about him. I thought, okay, he is 22 years in practice- some negative reviews are normal right? so.... I moved forward. I contacted Alisa a few times and voiced how nervous I was. She was so reassuring and she told me she looked over our pre-op notes and told me that most of the things I was concerned about were addressed in all of those steps and that she was pretty sure from what I was telling her that it would be a revision and free of charge. She helped keep me calm- I was literally afraid of being insulted by Dr Barnett because some of the reviews I read eluded to that. I found her as an advocate and a professional to be a perfect fit for her job. Well, to my suprise he not only agreed that I needed touch up. He wanted it to look better and was actually glad to do it. Did I go in there all pissed and demanding? Of course not. I went in just ready to voice my concerns and he opened my robe and started pinching looking and poking and was like okay, here is what we need to do.... I tried to talk him out of it... because he wanted to do just hip lipo touch up first and then go in and possibly tighten my skin more. I tried to talk him into just tightening because A) lipo freaking HURTS and B) I really just thought if it didn't roll when I sit down I would be happy But he assured me that it wouldn't look right if he didn't touch up his lipo first and then do the tightening in a second revision procedure. The reason for the second procedure is because of blood supply being cut off for so long after my having 5 abdominal procedures already. It could impair healing. I can assure you its easier and cheaper for him to just tighten me. And easier and cheaper for him if he wanted to do both at the same time, but he chose to do them separately and he didn't ask me for one penny. He took plenty of time speaking to me. He had to run out for about 10 minutes but he came back to talk to me some more. I know he was in a hurry because I had heard that he was taking an emergency patient in the OR who had some adhesions that were binding around her nerves and causing her severe pain. And he still made sure that I was well informed and happy with the plan. I am not saying this about anyone in particular because I know things happen; but if you have unrealistic expectations of what your body can look like you will never be happy. If you have unrealistic expectations about any persons behavior you will never be happy. Allow people to HAVE their own individual personalities and idiosyncrasies; as well all have and don't expect to be besties with your surgeon and his entire staff. If you dont like them or the way they look and you cant get over it then I guess move on and hopefully you will find one you LOVE, but to criticize ones you dont love for doing something wrong when its not wrong or right... it just bugged you or gave you a negative vibe is so wrong of you. And don't expect 55 year old skin to look 18. Expect it to look 30. Get it? Its plastic surgery. Not magic. Anyway I just had to share so that others don't have a panic attack like I did by reading negative reviews and all the positives being about boob jobs. I had body work... a lot of it. My friends didn't need revisions by the way. I am the only special one :) I wrote this review for people and for Dr Barnett... for doing my revisions for free. ( its been 2 years by the way- he could've sent me packing, but he was honest about his work and he knew that just because it was 2 years instead of one that I still needed a touch up and I really appreciated that he didn't use that as an excuse to not fix it because I simply could not have done it at one year my husband was having a medical emergency and winter is our slow time so I had to wait it out and pray he would still do it... and he did )

Breast Augmentation - Ogden, UT

I was really young when my procedure was done but it has been 6 years and I still am glad that I got it done. The only con was that there are large scars under my breast where the implants were put in. I wish there was a way for the incision to be smaller when I get them re-done in the future. The pro is they look natural. You also can't see the scar in swimsuits or if looking straight on. He did a good job listening to what I wanted and making sure they weren't too big for my petite body size.

I Had Breast Reduction, Augmentation and Also Lipo Just Baout Everywhere You Can Mention. - Ogden, UT

The doct was fabulous, and his staff: Alisa and especially Stephanie went out of their way to give me support, information and even hold my hand thru difficulties. I am only three weeks into this healing project, as I like to call it. because honestly it is pain that I have never felt before. I know that ultimately it will be worth it, but right now I am still in the pouting and whining stages. So I will get back to you. But as far as whom I chose to do my procedures, my friend and I had three quotes and consultations and Dr. Barnett is whom you want to pick!

Upper Arms Had Ugly 'Wings' - Ogden, UT

I have not worn short sleeves, nor anything sleeveless for 6-7 years. The skin hanging when I lifted my arms even slightly was hugely embarrassing and noticeable. I wanted to finally be rid of the embarrassment and wear normal tops in the summer. I had the arm lift and woke to caring staff, when they made sure all was safe I was allowed to go home. I returned --I think it was 2 days later, the nurses and Dr. Barnett made sure all looked ok, then was fitted with compression sleeves which felt good to have them on. You only need pain control for less than 2 weeks, and Rx's are given to you. After 10 days I dared 'sneak a peek' at my previously flabby arms and what a difference!! Although still swollen from surgery they looked wonderful, I was getting a look at what was to come. I am now 4 weeks post op, still wear the compression sleeves to keep down any swelling that may occur and they do make your arms comfortable. I actually look at the upper arms in amazement--NO WINGS FLAPPING. The suture line will be completely unnoticeable with arms down. I am ready for sleeveless tops, having slim arms finally. The entire staff is so caring, so kind and answer every question. If you call the office they return your call the same day. It's nice to see Dr. Barnett smile when he sees how happy you are with your surgery.

Great Doctor and Staff - Ogden, UT

This was so easy and great. I had a Tummy Tuck (extended scar) and Skin removal from my side of my chest/and armpit. Doctor Barnett was awesome and his staff was incredible they made it so easy and very comfortable. I had the best experience, people always ask about scarring and I scar well but i have seen other scars from other people and they all look good he did an amazing job. The scarring was not bad and the only thing that I would say was bad were the dis-solvable stitches took almost a year to dissolve and some of them did bother me but all in all it was great and I could not complain to much they took great care and called me after my procedure multiple times to make sure that I was doing well.

Tummy Tuck to Fix Previous Surgery Scars (54 Years Young) - Ogden, UT

I had 4 scars on my tummy so I had nothing to loose. I had two hernia surgeries, one on each hip and two c-sections. One bikini cut and one horizontal from the belly button down. I also have Hypothyroidism which has made me gain weight. The tummy weight is gone and the horizontal scar is gone. I now have one very thin scar hip to hip. He "cleaned up" the previous scars which were quite thick. Count on being down for 3 days, after that it's manageable. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though. I told myself it was going to be really bad then was pleasantly surprised when I was up and about. It's now been 2 months, I get some nerve twitches here and there and there's numbness, but for having a major surgery I'd say that's pretty darn good. My husband and I are both thrilled with the results!
