I had my first BBL in 2019 and a second in 2020. After some weight gain and a change in what i wanted aesthetically, I decided I wanted a reduction. I have been searching for a surgeon for around a year to do this surgery but there are not many (at least not good ones) around even though there has been an influx of women wanting to reduce their BBL’s. I know the Neinstein practice has amazing reviews and Dr.Pierre was very honest at my consult. He did not provide unrealistic expectations and was confident he could get me back to a more natural look. Dr. Pierre and the staff were all amazing - they even gave me bags of goodies for my recovery! Everything was top notch! My clothes fit so much better, I’m excited to build the rest in the gym and get back to normal. After pics are 6 weeks post op. If you are looking for a BBL reduction I highly recommend him!
Not only is Dr. Pierre a phenomenal, detailed surgeon, he’s an even better person who cares about his patients and goes the extra mile with his care. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Pierre and am over the moon with my results. You will be in the best hands with Dr. Pierre and everyone at NPS. My friends who had the same procedures at other clinics were blown away by the level of care I received. I’ve got my groove back, and am so excited to start this next chapter with a beautiful body!
6 months ago I was lucky enough to have had a full circumferential tuck with lipo 360 with Dr. Pierre. To say I am happy would be the understatement of the century. After 8 years of IVF, 3 c sections (the last two being 18 months apart), and truly never having a great core and of top of it loosing 35 lbs.. my mushy stomach was not something I wanted to live with forever. I started to become obsessed with getting a tummy tuck and that’s where my research began. A friend of mine had a mini tuck with Dr. Neinstein a few years ago, and when she heard I was thinking of having the surgery she insisted I see no one else but him! I scheduled my consultation, and from there booked a bunch of other consultations. From minute 1 of being in the NPS office I knew this was the practice for me. We met with Dr. Neinstein who was absolutely incredible and I knew this was the place I needed to be. You could not even compare for one single moment the difference between the thorough consult there, to other offices I had been too. My husband also agreed there was no place else I would be having such a big surgery other than with NPS. However, with scheduling and life events it was going to be hard to schedule with Dr. Neinstein, so he was heavily encouraging me to meet with Dr. Pierre. I had my heart set on being with Dr. Neinstein so was hesitant… but then said why not just book the consult. So from there, I booked my consult with Dr. Pierre. Let’s put it this way.. I was blown away. We talked for over a half hour about all of my concerns and With zero hesitation he had an answer for everything. When I told my friends about him I would just say “he’s just so smart.. he had a confident but calm explanation for everything and made me feel so so comfortable” I knew right away he was the surgeon for me. I couldn’t have been more excited. We moved ahead and booked it for a few short weeks after. I had a mutation that would found out about during the IVF process, and he went the extra mile to make sure everything was checked and the proper protocol would take place to make sure I had zero complications after surgery. I was all set and ready to go, and two days before that I wound up in the emergency room at 2 am on a Sunday. Turned out I needed emergency gall bladder surgery. I was besides myself. I didn’t want to wait to let him know I would have to cancel so I texted him apologizing that it was a Sunday.. and within minutes he called me and talked me off the ledge. Reassured me this was the better way for this to happen and soon I would be on the other side of it all. Reminding me that if I had had my procedure and then had to get the gall bladder out they would have ruined my beautiful new belly that he was going to give me! Later that day, I saw that he celebrated his daughters first birthday that day on Instagram and I just could not get over that he took the time to call me and make sure I was ok, and call my nerves about it all. Who does that?! What Dr?! Not any that I know of! The next few days he continued texting and calling to see how I was doing. Even a FaceTime to see my new scars. Pretty amazing. Fast forward I FINALLY was able to get into his OR April 22. Let’s just say I had zero nerves and danced my way on to that table. I was soooo excited and knew I was in the absolute best care and had not one worry in the world! Our original plan we extended tuck, muscle repair, and lipo 360 to give those beautiful long lean lines that NPS is known for. Let me just add that is the exact reason I wanted them and only them. Everyone is so quick to just cut and pull the skin and leave you looking like a box. The Dr.’s at NPS make sure to create a perfect body giving the curves and lean lines to match your lower half to your shoulders. I say all the time now “your core is the centerpiece of your body that marries everything together” other parts of your body may not be your favorite, but a strong, flat, tight smooth core makes all of those other worries go away! It’s pretty amazing! Anyways when doing my markings that morning, Dr. Pierre came around on his stool and looked up at me and said “what do you think if we go all the way around? You don’t have much on the back but that little bit that I would take would make a huge difference” I looked at my husband, and we both said “whatever you think is best I’m In your hands” i trusted him 100000% so just let him do whatever he thought would give me the best possible result. The scars were never ever a worry for me. Never once because I knew the results would far exceed having a small thin scar that will eventually fade to basically nothing. I also knew I would much rather a flat perfect stomach with a scar over a loose hanging skin stomach. After all said and done my results are far beyond anything I could have ever imagined. My whole body is now in symmetry and feels like the body it should have always been. Like I said even as a kid and young adult my stomach was never flat or nice. It is something I always struggled with. I used to look at girls on the beach, or even in clothes and say “I want to feel like that for one day, just one day” now with the magic Dr. Pierre had preformed on me I can say that I can love the rest of my life feeling that way! I keep saying it’s the gift that keeps on giving. And somehow someway I keep getting smaller and it keeps getting better! It’s truly amazing. The best part of it all is that attention to detail and the top notch patient care and Dr. Patient relationship is unmatched. Second to none. Dr. Pierre came to see me 3 days in a row while staying in the city before coming home to NJ. Kept in close contact with texts and FaceTimes to make sure I was healing ok and to keep a close eye on everything. The recovery is tough and I would have never made it through without the constant communication between Dr. Pierre and the amazing staff at NPS. It’s been 6 months and we are still in close contact with sending photos, and him checking in to see how I am. Having Dr. Pierre was by far one of the best decisions of my life and there will never be enough thanks. He changed my life in a way I didn’t know was possible. If you haven’t guessed, I would highly highly recommended Dr. Pierre for all your mommy makeover needs!
I discovered Dr. Neinstein through Instagram, but was truly intrigued by my consult with Dr. Piere via zoom. Seeing the patient stories and their before and after pictures were mind-blowing .I met so many women, kind, open, and supportive, answered my hundreds of questions and made my decision easy..They felt like family, we speak everyday and many shared their experiences on Instagram. We are all part of the Neinstein family, Dr Piere's private group. Dr Piere has been so amazing and hands-on. He was an amazing surgeon definitely refer him. He's been hands-on in coming to visit every morning and making sure I'm ok. Looking after me the day of my surgery Tori was my nurse she was so amazing and eased my nerves the day of the tummy tuck. I love the office environment.Gorgeous TRAVELING from out of town was nerve-wracking but Dr. Neinstein's office made me feel at home. The ladies Cared for me and the feeling of not being rushed to get all my questions answered even before my surgery was comforting. I had bad bug bites before my surgery and I messaged Dr.Piere one night and he responded to take benedrly. Bella was so helpful with scheduling everything. The radiant nursing was outstanding Julianne, and Marissia stayed 48hours and felt like i was having a girl sleepover party. . This huge surgery will not be able to be successful unless you have a village. DR. Neinstein's practice and team were a village and can't thank them enough. Dr. Piere rocks.
How did I finally get to booking my Tummy Tuck? I finally got over the fear of the surgery, the drains, the whole recovery. I finally found a practice with doctors I felt 100% comfortable with. I finally got over the NO WAY you are not doing this from my husband and family. And I finally had enough of working out like a crazy person only to keep seeing a pooch in the mirror. I want more for myself. I wanted to look in the mirror and not hyper focus on this “fupa” area of my body. I want to be able to get dressed for a workout, for daytime and night time and not hate the way my mid section looks. I am thankful and grateful for everything my body has gone thru especially creating and birthing my 3 amazing children so I have ZERO regrets and would never do it differently again but my body just didnt represent me anymore! I did tons of research and met with a few doctors before I picked Neinstein Plastic Surgery. After seeing consistent results coming from this office I booked a consult. I immediately felt like I walked into a team…a family where everyone who works in the office cared about me. From the moment I booked I was sent messages and emails to help me get ready for the big day. A complete Amazon list of supplies to have ready. A Nurse who specializes in nutrition to get that part of you ready too! I am one month post op now and I have never been happier! The incisions are fading nicely. I know I’m still swollen I keep getting reminded that Patience is most important during this process. I also believe this is just as much a mental journey as it is a physically journey. I also highly recommended that if you are going to do this surgery you should hire nurses to take care of you for at least the first 48hrs I used Radiant Recovery and was so happy with all the nurses that took care of me!
Amazing. I am so happy with my results of my liposuction. Dr. Lapaine was very thorough and addressed all my concerns both before and after surgery, he was so patient with me and my need for all the reassurance. The procedure and recovery all went exactly as expected, quick, easy and healing well. I would recommend Dr. Lapaine and his team 10/10 times.
Dr Lapaine was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable before, during and with follow up from my procedure. Most importantly- the results are exactly what I asked for and I’m very pleased. Jamie, his patient care coordinator, also went above and beyond to make sure all of my questions were answered and has such a great personality, she really put me at ease as well. Highly recommend them!
I had axillary breast tissue under both arms that had bothered me since I was a teenager. I went to Dr Lapaine for removal and could not be happier with my results! He also answered a number of questions post op and ensured I was comfortable. Thank you Dr Lapaine!
I had 360 HD lipo, a mini tummy tuck and renuvion with Dr. Lapaine and I couldn’t be happier. I was actually going to another Dr. in Miami when Tammy at the office told me about Dr. Lapaine joining the practice. I was nervous but as soon as I met with Dr. Lapaine I felt confident with his expertise. I’m only 2 months out and I can’t believe this is MY body. I have confidence again that I haven’t seen in years. I wore a bikini for the first time in almost a decade and felt amazing. I truly can’t say enough amazing things about Dr. Lapaine work. On top of that Jamie his surgical coordinator is kind and warm, but also prompt and thorough. In the post op period I always had quick access to them with any questions or concerns. If you’re considering this procedure seriously look no further. Thank you Dr.Lapaine!
Dr.LaPaine has made all my wishes come true!!. I have always been super self conscious about my chin / jaw and neckline. Dr.Lapaine not only listened to all my concerns, but he made me feel 100% confident in moving forward. I can’t begin to explain how amazing my result is. It is everything ive ever dreamed of and I can’t imagine going through this process without Dr.Lapaine! Highly recommend.
Hi, So excited for you that you're thinking of making this change for yourself! Recovery from breast augmentation is generally very easy. When done properly, there should be minimal pain, and other than some activity restrictions early on, you should basically be back to normal life within a few days. Tummy tuck is a much more involved recovery. It requires a lot more life planning, at least a couple weeks of planned downtime, and just takes longer to get back on your feet. Adding a breast augmentation doesn't really change the recovery because once you have the tummy tuck to recover from, you will barely even notice any discomfort from the breasts! For this reason, many choose to have them together because it's one recovery. Some choose to do them separately because maybe they don't have time for the tummy tuck recovery and are able to fit the breasts in first. Or they want to focus on the tummy tuck and worry about the breasts later. Ultimately it comes down to your choice in most cases. Your body will get smaller with the tuck, so sometimes that means that breasts can feel proportionately different (they may look relatively larger) but usually there isn't a major effect and you should still be able to be happy either way. Hope this is helpful!
Hi, It's very exciting that you're looking to make this change for yourself! After having kids there are numerous changes that happen to your body. The muscle stretches out, often causing some separation of the ab muscles (rectus diastasis) as well as creating loose skin. These can only be addressed with a tummy tuck. Unfortunately I see a lot of moms who go have lipo elsewhere then come to see me because they're left with irregularities and even looser skin that they do not like how it looks at all. It's much better to do the right operation the first time and you will be much happier. I know it means a scar and downtime but if you makes you look the way you want to look, I have never met a patient that regretted the scar. This often can be done at the same time as lipo to other areas such as arms or thighs, and breast lifts/reductions but every case can vary slightly depending on the exact needs and the procedures being done to ensure that surgery is a safe amount of time to minimize risks of complications.
The biggest limitation when it comes to surgery is health. Age is just a number. In our practice we regularly see patients in their 50's and 60's (or some even older) for surgery and do tummy tucks, breast surgery, etc... safely with the proper check and balances. So it sounds like you would be a good candidate and even if you needed surgery in your 70's, this likely could be done without issues. Also, breast implants can last much longer than 10 years. I have changed out implants that were 45 and 50 years old. Now, they were not in pristine condition but I think it's quite possible that 20-30 years could be realistic in most people. Removing them without replacement could even be done with local anesthetic if needed. If this is something that you want that will make a positive change in your life, then I would not let age hold you back!
Most people, when they do tummy tucks, do not do any liposuction to the central area of the abdomen as this area is lifted up (what we call undermined) and the goal is to preserve blood flow. So it is possible that there is excess fat there that could be treated now that you have done the tuck to make the skin tighter. The other possibility is that there is vertical laxity of the abdominal wall. Typically the muscle is repaired down the center in a vertical line to bring the muscles back in line. However, there are times where a multi-vector repair is needed to correct bulging. Most surgeons don't even look of this, but it can be a frequent cause of building of the lower abdomen. I do a lot of revision tummy tucks and often this is a big part of what needs to be corrected.
Hi,First of all congratulations on the weight loss! It appears from the photos you have a large muscle separation as you noted, as well as signification loose skin. While I can appreciate why someone might say an FDL tuck could be beneficial, my first thought would be either extended or probably even better: circumferential tuck (meaning a scar that goes all the way round, but stays low in the bikini line). I've had great success with treating laxity on the front using this and voiding a vertical scar. It also helps to lift the outer thighs and butt so that you can an all around transformation. That's almost always the best option when you have that amount of weight loss. Hope this helps!
