26 and Ready to Fix my Teenager Mistakes! - Idaho Falls, ID

One week ago I had my consultation for Invisalign. Recently while visiting family I found a picture of 16 yr old me the day I had my braces off and thought wow that's how straight they were. After being an immature teenager and not wearing my retainers and my wisdom teeth coming in. My teeth were no longer the pretty straight teeth they once were. I was set on fixing that! So this Wednesday I will be having my scans for my trays! And I am beyond excited! Updated on 20 Oct 2015: I have 3 fillings that have to be fixed and even though I was under the impression since they weren't new fillings it would be okay, my orthodontist called today and said that if my teeth change at all from the fillings we would have to do the scans all over! Makes sense! So I'm bummed but my apt for my fillings is November 4th so I will try and make my scans for that day or the next! Updated on 5 Nov 2015: tomorrow i finally get my scans, after having to delay the first apt for some much needed dental work. I had to get 4 fillings fixed! There was one on each part of my mouth so it was some pretty extreme dental work for one day. Now that it's done i get my scans tomorrow! I am so excited to be on my way to straight teeth. A little worried about where my buttons will be and also nervous because I almost always wear lip stick and now im not sure i will be able too!. Updated on 1 Dec 2015: I got my attachments and trays yesterday! They fit like a glove! Overall my attachments are pretty hard to see I have about 12 of them but most on my sides. I will have 40 trays total so about a year and a half. It's been about 20 hours and my teeth are sore but not terrible, I had braces once already so I expected this pain. The hardest part for me is getting the dang things off! I'm so afraid I'm going to break off an attachment or something! Also my ortho didn't give me any chewies and im wondering why. Although we used scans and not molds to get my trays so they fit perfectly but part of me just wants to chew on SOMETHING! Also I barely have a lisp, I was nervous because even my bleach trays make me have a lisp but these barely do! Updated on 9 Jan 2016: I'll be honest over Christmas I definitely didn't stick to my 22 hours a day! Woops all the parties and snacks got me! But I've returned back to good habits haha! I go see my ortho Monday to get my next few sets of trays and I'm excited for him to see my progress. I'm not seeing much on my bottom teeth however I can feel floss going in easier between certain teeth and actually not at all between two of my teeth (which I hate) but I know it's part of the process. However on top im seeing a difference and I love it! Plus I can feel it when I do have my tray out I glide my toungue over my front teeth and can feel the difference! I honestly have not minded the trays at all! The first day of a new tray isn't great but it's not terrible. Updated on 10 Mar 2016: I am loving all the changes I am seeing, and at my next appointment I might get to go down to wearing each tray for a week instead of two. I would have 30 trays left ! So that would be awesome!! Here are some updates before on the left now on the right
