Ever since I was in my early 20's I was uncomfortable with my longer labia minor. Undressing completely I was a little embarrassed, but mostly I was uncomfortable in fitted clothing, riding a bike, or sometimes felt like it could be seen in a swimsuit. Most importantly , I did this for me and no one else. I was just uncomfortable most often in fitted clothing and didn't like how it looked even standing in front of a mirror. Dr Davis is amazing! I would use him again. He makes you feel completely at ease and answered all my questions. He did the procedure in his office and I avoided the hospital or outpatient setting. I didn't need anesthesiology. I had the option to take a Valium and norco, but chose neither. I don't like how either makes me feel. I did take 1 Cephalexin (antibiotic) that is standard procedure and then later that afternoon filled the rest of the antibiotic. I chose against the pain meds to fill. Tylenol was enough. Within 24 hours I felt completely fine, however at day 4 itching or a fiery sensation and wanting to rub or scratch is common.
