Dr. Daneshrad has been great. The staff and space is so clean and friendly. I went in for my first cosmetic appointment ever wanting to start my journey and keep it really natural looking with little information on how to obtain the results I want and he did just that. Really appreciate a professional opinion that clearly is there for the long term goals. Less is always more. After it all set in it was the perfect amount you really couldn?t tell such subtle natural improvements. Looking forward to my next session and much more confident going into it now. Thank you Dr. Daneshrad!
I know this site is geared towards cosmetic procedures and this review pertains to a functional procedure but i had a good experience and so i feel that i should share here as well. Dr Daneshrad placed Latera implants into my nose (10/23) to address nasal valve collapse on both sides. I was absolutely pleased with my experience (both with the Dr and his staff) and have benefited greatly from the procedure. For context, i only write reviews when i have something very positive to share. Here is how my experience went: I initially reached out to the clinic on a weekend and they were able to see me by midweek. At my first appointment, i was impressed by Dr. Daneshrad’s approach to diagnosing my issue. He was thorough but certain, hallmark of a very skillful and experienced doctor and so it proved. The doctor went through my options clearly and helped me to understand the rationale for his recommendations - this is not always the case when seeing a specialist and it was much appreciated. After this, i went away to think on it for a bit. I scheduled a telemedicine follow up with the doctor to ask a few questions which he was happy to answer. When i decided to proceed, Carol, the office manager, made navigating the insurance and scheduling process very smooth. Highest marks for her as well - a cold forced me to reschedule at one point and she went above and beyond to get me rescheduled ASAP. As for the procedure, it was truly a breeze. It was installed under local anesthesia which the doctor took great care in administering. Before installation, Dr Daneshrad determined the optimal location for the implants, paying great attention to detail. He radiated skill and expertise, no joke, and i felt immediate improvement. (It does take time for implants to fully settle in). The whole process took about 30mins. As i was told, downtime was minimal - i took off work that day but could have done my job without issue. Only pain during the whole procedure came during the anesthetic injection but this was very minor. Truly, i had no idea what to expect from this procedure but based on the doctor’s advice, i went with it and i have been very impressed so far. If you are suffering from Nasal Valve collapse, please consider this relatively new approach to the problem. And as i say above, I only have good things to say about the doctor and staff. Highly recommended.
Normally, I write reviews when things go wrong, but today, my review is for my experience with Dr. Daneshrad that went brilliantly right! I recently went in for my first lip filler consult and treatment. I was instantly impressed with Dr. Daneshrad’s medical pedigree and professionalism. His calming personality immediately put me at ease. We subsequently discussed potential Botox filler, and how it could help my frown line and slight crows feet. As I had just turned 50, I didn’t think Botox was necessary just yet, but after our discussion, I thought I would give it a try, since I was already there. Omg, I’m so glad I did! There was no question that I would love the lip filler (I’ve been wanting it for years), but the Botox completely removed the frown line and wrinkles, and when coupled with the lip filler, I truly felt and looked younger! The entire procedure was quick and painless. I did experience some minor bruising on my lips, but that was expected. In any event, if you’re looking for a true medical professional with a beautiful office and great staff, visit Dr. Daneshrad.
My consult with Dr. Daneshrad set me at ease. Absolutely blown away by Dr. Daneshrad's results! I went to multiple surgeons and always had that gut feeling that I wasn’t going to be happy with the results. After my consultation with Dr. Daneshrad, I felt much more comfortable with getting the Septoplasty & Rhinoplasty surgery. I can finally breathe again and I am so thankful that I went with him and his team! I would recommend him to anyone that is having trouble with breathing or if they are unhappy with their nose and want a natural/soft result.
On Friday July 1st I'm going to be getting my deviated septum fixed as well as cosmetic alterations to my nose. I've always had a bump in my nose that I've hated and my surgeon told me he could correct it but any cosmetic procedures would be $8,000. At first I had decided against it but after looking into non surgical nose jobs I finally decided (literally an hour before my appointment) to do it since I've wanted it for so long. My biggest concern is obviously the bump on my nose but I'm worried that I did not articulate clearly enough to my doctor what I wanted, since I want not only the bump removed but a curved nasal bridge. I'm very nervous that he will only remove the bump and leave me with a straight bridge. I am unable to get in contact with him since I'm out of the country until the day before my surgery but I'm really hoping I'll be able to give him a more detailed explanation of what I want before the surgery and show him some pictures and that I'll end up with the nose I've always wanted! I'm thinking of specifically asking for a curved bridge and supratip break and reduction in size (maybe) Updated on 2 Jul 2016: I only got to talk to my doctor for a few minutes before my procedure. I was a little concerned because he seemed to not like the nose I was describing and telling me my idea of a ski slope nose was very "passé" I told him I had lived with a straight bridged bumped nose my whole life and would really want a cute bridged nose. I showed him pictures (most were screenshots from this website because of all the beautiful noses) and he said it'd be possible. After I woke up from surgery my throat was on fire (mostly from tonsillectomy) they didn't want to give me medicine and I was very nauseous so they gave me a shot before I went home. The pictures were the pictures I showed him of what I wanted ! (Some are from RS, if it's you let me know and I'll take them down!) Updated on 2 Jul 2016: Woke up this morning. All my pain seems to be from my tonsillectomy, not much in my face/sinuses. The worst part in regards to my nose is that with my mustache dressing I can't really breathe out of my nose and since I can't breathe out of my mouth whenever I sleep I wake up gasping. There's been a ton of blood from the nose which I'm a little concerned about but I think the doctor mentioned that was normal so not trying not to let that cause me too much anxiety. Updated on 8 Jul 2016: Got my cast off!! Still in excruciating pain from the tonsillectomy but I haven't experienced any pain with my nose throughout this whole experience. My doctor said the swelling would go down quite a bit in the bridge and the tip would get more refined in the weeks/months to come. Very happy so far !!! Updated on 12 Jul 2016: The swelling is going down more and more each day and I'm absolutely in love with my nose. It's so perfect and exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier
Traditionally, insurance companies will pay for the functional portions of your surgery. This will allow you to breathe better. When it comes to the cosmetic changes, it all depends on what you are trying to achieve. Just straightening might be covered but anything more and you will probably have to pay for your surgery yourself.
Swelling from an open rhinoplasty can be difficult to define. Depending on the thickness of your skin, the amount of cartilage and bone removed and any other changes made to the anatomy of the nose, swelling can last for up to one year. At times, your surgeon may choose to inject the nose with steroids or to use taping techniques to help the swelling resolve faster in the months after your surgery. You should stay in close contact with your surgeon early, but at 3 weeks, swelling is not generally concerning.
I get this question a lot. You will best served by finding a physician that treats each nose, face, and patient uniquely. Your nose should fit your face and each surgery should be individualized. Not all of my patients have the same shape face or the same ethnicity. My patients and I will discuss the features of the nose and face that we want to change and those that we want to accentuate with surgery to give the face symmetry and harmony. After your surgery, friends and family should compliment you, not on the change in your nose, but the beauty of your face.
