Dr. Mostovych is an artist! I love my lips. She made me feel comfortable through out the whole treatment. She explained the process and all my options which matched my end results. Can’t wait for more treatments in the future!
My total experience with Belcara health exceeded my exceptions and I am glad to be able to say that. The staff was very lovely and answered all my questions. The biggest thing for me was to feel safe and confidient during my surgery. Belcara Health was the only place I found that was both qualified and able to give me the results I wanted. They were able to work with patients that have pacemakers, that is what brought me to dr. Mostovych In the 1st place. I read her story and I new she was the one. Dr. Mostovych really helped bring my vision to life. I was a bit concerned with the imagery we 1st made during consultation since I wasn't too happy with the way they came out. I went back home and found an app that edits photos and does imagery work just like you would do In a drs office. I sent those imagery's to dr. Mostovych and thank goodness for that. The next time I returned to the office. Dr. Mostovych and I worked based off of those images together and both agreed they were better and more natural looking. I was so happy to hear dr. Mostovych's say she was glad I had suggestions and any feedback is definitely helpful. I am very happy with my nose. My vision finally came to life and I am no longer self concious about my nose. My life has changed.
I had a great experience with Dr. Mostovych. I was only about 50/50 on actually going through with the procedure prior to my consultation, but she has a great bedside manner and really put me at ease. She’ was also very communicative in the days leading up to and following the procedure, which was very comforting in case you had an unforeseen questions/concerns. Most important, I love my results!!
Dr. Mostovych did an amazing job! I had skin laser resurfacing and my results are outstanding! The fine lines around my eyes, around my mouth and face are gone and my skin looks silky smooth. Dr. Mostovych was terrific and followed-up with me daily throughout my recovery process. I'm so happy with my results and would recommend her to anyone looking to regain youthful skin.
Dr. Mostovych patiently answered all of my preoperative questions. She provided clear and concise information and honest answers regarding post operative expectations. Dr Mostovych personally called me the night before and the evening post procedure to check in with me. The care I received at the Clarkview Surgery Center was phenomenal. I am currently four week post procedure, and am very pleased with my results. I now have a natural, rested and and refreshed presentation.
My experience with dr Nadia was phenomenal! She explained the process from A-Z and made me feel comfortable before and after. She met my expectations 1000% she delivered exactly I expressed to her during my consultation. Without hesitation I knew I was done with my research and chose dr Nadia and never looked back. She made the whole process easy, painless and effortless. To the point where I was always able to breath, no bruising at all and no pain! You can’t even see my scar ! And minimal bleeding after almost nothing ! Of course everyone’s different just speaking based on my experience. She is beyond humble, I was extremely comfortable with her from the beginning. Highly recommend her for your go to surgeon ! Thank you dr Nadia you are truly the best! I got my cute little nose !
Dr. Mostovych was absolutely amazing! I loved every part of the process with her guiding me along. Her whole team is fantastic and truly makes you feel at ease. Like going to chat with some old friends! I would HIGHLY recommend seeing Dr. Mostovych for rhinoplasty. It's 6 weeks post op and I couldn't be happier with my results. I felt she really listened to what I was wanting and made it even better!
Dr. Mostovych was wonderful to work with! I saw her recently for Botox. She thoughtfully walked me through options for treatment, taking into account a big event I had coming up, and created a plan unique to my face and desires. She was professional and patiently answered all my questions. The treatment was seamless, she followed up with me on the results, and I was overall very pleased with the experience. Would highly recommend!
Dr Mostovych at Belcara Health & her staff were amazing! I had very droopy eyelids & premature bags under my eyes. The surgery went very well & she called me during my recovery. I would definitely recommend her
Dr. Mostovych has been amazing to work with the past two months while monitoring my recent skin graft surgery. The surgery itself was to repair my ear where a skin cancer was removed. From start to finish Dr. Mostovych proved to be an exceptional choice for those needs. After only a few weeks of recovery time, the skin graft site as well as the donor site have healed to the point where they are barely noticeable. I feel all of this can be contributed to the attention Dr. Mostovych gives to fine detail. If and when I find the need to have other work done in her areas of expertise, Dr. Mostovych will certainly be the one to call. She is a truly remarkable physician and person.
Bruising can be minimized by avoiding medications and supplements which can thin the blood (a full list of these are typically provided to patients a few weeks prior to surgery), avoiding alcohol intake for 7-10 days before and after surgery. Homeopathic supplements such as arnica and bromelain, when taken pre and post operatively may also help reduce bruising. Ice compresses over the eyes starting immediately after surgery, and continued for the first 2-3 days also helps to reduce swelling and bruising.
You may start exercising 2 weeks after rhinoplasty surgery, assuming you have an uncomplicated recovery. This does not include contact sports or sports with flying objects (basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, baseball/softball, rugby, wrestling, lacrosse, etc.) which should be avoided for 6 weeks following surgery. The reason for this is that during most rhinoplasty procedures, the nasal bones are fractured (broken) and it takes 6 weeks for the bones to heal. If the nose is bumped or hit prior to the 6 week mark, it is possible the bones could shift out of place. Flying should be avoided for the first 2 weeks after rhinoplasty. The reason for this is that in the first 2 weeks the swelling and pressure in the nose is the greatest and changes in air pressure experienced while flying may increase pressure in the nose and may cause increased pain and pressure in the nose/sinuses. Secondly, post-surgical complications such as nose bleeds and infection are most likely to occur within the first two weeks. Should something like this occur or you are concerned about any of your symptoms during this time, being able to be seen in person by your surgeon in a timely manner is very important to be able to ensure appropriate treatment.
A tip rhinoplasty refers to a rhinoplasty that changes the shape of the tip only and does not change the shape of the nasal bridge (dorsum). This also does not address nasal breathing issues.
This answer varies from surgeon to surgeon and depending on the procedure. However, avoiding alcohol for at least 7-10 days prior to surgery will help to reduce bleeding during the surgery as well as post-operative bruising. I also recommend that patients avoid alcohol for 7-10 days after surgery as well.
A broken nose can occur after a direct traumatic hit to the nose. It is often associated with an immediate nose bleed from either one or both nostrils. The outside of the nose may appear shifted, crooked, or pointing in a different direction compared to its normal appearance. It will also begin to swell on the outside as well as on the inside after the injury. It may be exquisitely tender to the touch. An audible cracking sound may be heard at the time of the injury. Should any of these events occur, immediate evaluation in an urgent care center is recommended to further assess the injury as well as evaluate for any possible additional injuries. If the nasal bones have been broken and shifted, it is sometimes possible to re-set the nasal bones in place, as long as this is done within a few hours of the injury, before extensive swelling has taken place. If the bones cannot be re-set immediately, then they may be reset once the swelling has gone down (usually within 1-2 weeks from the injury). A “Broken nose” commonly refers to breaking of the bones, however, it is also possible to fracture (break) the bones and cartilage of the septum. This is a second reason to be medically evaluated immediately after the injury – as a septal fracture can be associated with something called a septal hematoma. A septal hematoma is when blood collects under the membranes of the septum and can put pressure on the septal cartilage. If this is untreated, it may result in damage to the septal cartilage which can result in loss of support to the bridge of the nose. This over time, can lead to the appearance of a “saddle nose deformity.”
