So I previously had a bbl, lipo 360, breast implant removal and a breast lift in 2018. I wasn’t crazy about the shape so I went in for a second surgery to correct that and also to fix the fat necrosis that developed. At this point I had already invested almost 40k into these surgeries with a different doctor. Then the pandemic started and I couldn’t see my doctor and I looked worse than when I started. I was given Dr Giraldino’a contact and promptly made an appointment to see what he could as it looked like I had dents in my left butt cheek which made me so self conscious. He suggested taking fat from my arms, back and side boob to fill in the areas but would go in first and break up the scar tissue and then fill it up again. I had the surgery Monday and I already feel so much better after this surgery. Mind you it’s only been a few days since I had my surgery but I can already see very positive difference. With all DR Giraldinos accolades you understand why he is so pricey. He’s double certified here and in the US and also is the head surgeon and head of the board of plastic surgeons at McGill university. He’s a great doctor and his staff went above and beyond! I will update once I’ve healed.
I had spent over 2 years losing weigh and getting in shape, but after 2 pregnancies, one of which was C-section, I was left with a shelf and pudginess that didn’t even look like I’d bothered turning up to the gym. I turned 50 this year and had felt that I was in the best shape of my life…….apart from the tummy. This is the point where I tell you that I quite literally have the best husband in the world!!!! He turned around to me one day after I’d gotten all upset over it and said, ‘you’ve worked really hard for this, if it’s upsetting you that much, let’s go and talk to someone about it.’ Then my research started; initially I was only considering Lipo and was looking into a system called skintite, but then I came to realize that I would still be left with the saggy skin. My original research had already lead me to Dr. Gilardino, I don’t know what it was, but I just felt comfortable with him do once we met I knew I didn’t need to see anyone else; after all, if the head of plastics at McGill university who specialized in paediatric cranio-facial reconstruction couldn’t get it right, no one could. So I travelled from Ottawa to Montréal to meet him and take his advice on what to do to my body. What was most important about that meeting was that he put both of us at ease and we ended up pulling the date forward from January 2022 to November 2021. I have done so much research on the who, what, when & why if what I needed so what I want to do is to share with you what I used, what worked, what didn’t etc. Before surgery I read that it was a good idea to do the plank photo challenge to see how much they will remove and tighten so this picture is what I hope to upload as well as a few other before pictures. I hope you’ll follow my journey and benefit from the information I share. Updated on 5 Nov 2021: Today has been bad so I’m hopeful that tomorrow will be better. I finally had a bowel movement so hoping that’s the start of normality in that department again. I’m totally exhausted and this has been in a whole different level compared to a c-section recovery and no cute baby to occupy your time. Photos of day of surgery
I had had Botox before by another surgeon but Dr. I will recommend Dr. Geraldino explained the procedure, also explained what is not needed, instead of giving me unnecessary treatments. He is very pleasant pleasant, inspired confidence and very professional. Very gentle with the application of the syringes.
This dr is really one of a kind. Amazing surgeon, kind, patient, humble. I went to see him after a very well known American plastic surgeon had done a bad facial surgery on me. He agreed to fix the other dr's mistake and did a great job. I feel very lucky to have found him and will have a third surgery with him in spring.
I wanted a nose that would be closer to my face, take out the bump and have a smaller tip. I had a great consultation with Dr. Gilardino in Montreal. He is very honest and has discouraged me to do other surgeries. He said he would lift the tip of my nose, I was unsure about it and it does change me a lot because I'm not use to see inside my nose from my front profile. You have to be ready for a big change, there's things you might not realize you like about your nose now, that will change from the surgery even if it wasn't targeted. However, the surgeon did a great job, I am satisfied and I don't worry about my profile anymore which is a great gift for me. Take a good time to find the right surgeon, Dr Gilardino does facial reconstruction for kids with malformation, so I felt in good hands.
Very unsatisfied this surgeon does not care about the way you feel about your results and how unhappy you are just cares about the money that goes in his pocket. Iam way worst off now then what i was before ever going to see him ..after paying 30k i never had such a big regret i will never be able to wear shorts ever again after him preforming liposuction on my legs left lumps and my legs all uneven. Then i go with my compliments he says okay i will fix it but for anther 3500$ and desperate to fix this problem i pay again. And nothing has gotten fixed i paid the 3500 $ the problem is exactly the same except with more scares and mt legs look awful ..before the second surgery i was offered 3 sessions of microneedling on my legs to help tighten the skin ..after i paid got the surgery done i call in to make my appointments they tell me they never said that do i have proof of this .with my answer being no it was actually all over the phone so no proof well they say no there not doing it with no charge..total paying 35000$ and look just awful way worst then what i did before i went in there biggest regret i have in my life i made a big mistake choosing this surgeon. Do your reserch lady's i will post pictures soon .you will understand me .
My first time doing Botox. Very disappointed experience with Dr Gilardino, the result was not satisfactory, and lack of professionalism ,I never got a consultation and I was charged I will never recommend him
Juvederm corrected using hyaluronidase injections don't cause collagen depletion due to it being a naturally occurring substance our bodies very slowly degrade. Hyaluronidase does not interrupt normal collagen production, nor the amount at the scene. It is an injectable that when properly used, can help a patient achieve a softer, more natural looking result by breaking down the common chemical thread in fillers (hyaluronic acid). At Victoria Park, many such cases are seen, to a more or lesser degree of severity. Having an opportunity to follow up with your injector to address any concerns is the easiest way to assess whether an adjustment with hyaluronidase is necessary, or the filler needs more time to settle.
To answer your first question, yes, it is completely possible that the skin is trying to adjust. However, I would suggest waiting for 6 months to allow everything to heal and settle nice. In addition, I would advise you to contact your plastic surgeon and schedule a follow-up to to discuss the issue directly, as he is in the best position to assess the situation.
