From the first appointment and all the way though Mr Tyler made me feel at ease. I knew I wanted him to do my surgery from the moment I met him. I can’t begin to tell you (only 12 days post op) how impressed I am with the results. Mr Tyler performed a tummy tuck with muscle repair and a breast augmentation and the results, even at this early stage are fantastic! I would not fail to recommend Mr Tyler to anyone and everyone!!!
I've progressively lost weight over the past 4 years through a diet of healthy/clean eating and exercise A total of 75lbs in total. I hit 70lbs in may and decided to take the plunge. Having a horizontal incision tummy tuck on 24th October and very excited. No muscle repair needed. Hoping to meet and inspire new people x Updated on 23 Oct 2016: All ready to go, admission time 1pm and surgery at approx 2pm. Not nervous, very excited xx Updated on 31 Oct 2016: Thrilled is an understatement. This pic is taken in the morning when my body is less swollen but is a positive indication of what the end result will be like (better!!) Updated on 21 Nov 2016: Potentially in love... Updated on 4 Dec 2016: Went for my first Christmas party of the season last night and it was perfect. Hi guys and girls i just had a nose job! Im in the hospital now im staying over night, so far i can only see the tip and from what i can see theres lots of blood! Ahaha? but it will be worth it, i just wanted to share this because im so happy :) im grasping my life in both hands and doing what will make me happy. :) Also what im surprised about is there isn't a great deal of bruising around the eyes, only a slight purple colour on the inside of my left eye, seems like he is a man of his word because i think i remember him saying hes very careful and tries to minimise this side effect. SAXON CLINIC in MK is a very nice place the nurses are great and always checking up on me making sure im comfortable and ok. Dr michael Tyler Dr tyler is a great guy before the surgery i was quiet nervous but he came in explained what was happening and seemed generally very confident about the procedure and his confidence definitely rubbed off on me. I will add before and after photos when i have had the bandages and stuff taken off So far so good, im looking forward to being able to look at and show off my new nose, this has been a long wait and hopefully it will be worth it :) It cost £4750 i dont know how much that is in US dollar sorry Updated on 12 Jul 2013: So ye i had the guard taken off also the swelling has gone down alot. The nose i have now is amazing, it far exceeds the nose i was expecting, its amazing i love it! Im going to ask dr tyler to give me the official before and after pictures that he takes so i can post them here, my own before pictures are rubbish so i want to use the ones he took, my appointment with him in on monday so ill ask him then. But i am amazed at the tranformation i love it Updated on 17 Jul 2013: These are the results seen through some tacky photos, sadly i have to wait 3months for the official before and after pictures so ill have to use my own, very badly taken pic's But in all honesty i am amazed at the transformation, michael tyler your like an artist for the human body, you really know what your doing, i cant thank you enough. This has given me a massive boost in self confidence, i now feel i look more like the person i am on the inside, and i couldn't be happier. Updated on 18 Jul 2013:
I'd wanted a nose job from a young age, I never had the worst nose in the world but it was quite long and slightly hook/bump from side. I had consultations at various chains but stumbled upon my surgeon by accident as I told someone they had a perfect nose and it turned out they had had it done. And the rest they say is history. Updated on 19 Oct 2012: I have passed the 3 month mark!!! :) It is still swollen but I have had my check up with Mr Tyler and he assures me that the definition is there and it will really start to come through once the swelling dies down. I am really happy .. I can see that it is still swollen but around the bridge the swelling has gone now. My face no longer feels stiff and I can raise my eyebrows with no pain. It still looks a bit weird when I smile but again this will correct itself as the swelling goes. I will upload some new photos soon. My last check up was kinda emotional, as how do you thank someone for changing your life?? Updated on 19 Oct 2012: Also just a couple of notes on my recovery. For the first 3-4 weeks I felt really out of it - like you have a huge pressure on your face / head cold all the time. Due to the way you have to sleep as well I was quite tired a lot of the time. I also felt very emotional as I guess the experience of your op is just a big shock to your body. My nose dripped for a few weeks especially as I didn't want to blow my nose, I got my smell back after about 8 days. I am still weary of touching my nose even now though I know it is safe too. What else? Drinking makes it swell do avoid that. Try not to bang it or brush past it as it kinda hurts in the first few weeks. Avoid really chewy foods for the first 3 weeks - I remember I had a really chewy bread roll on the third week and omg it felt like my nose was going to rip apart. Avoid spicy foods and scented candles and smoky atmospheres for first 3-4 weeks as it made my nostrils sting. Updated on 12 May 2013: I am around the 10 month mark now and even in the last month my nose has shrunk even more so and I finally like every single photo of me as until literally 2 weeks ago at some angles I still felt it looks piggy. Which just shows time does pay, and we just need to be patient. I am very excited about the coming months as apparently it will get even smaller. I saw Mike for my final consultation about 3 weeks ago now and he was very happy. I think he is an amazing surgeon, I love my nose soooo much it has changed my life and I would recommend anyone to have one done with him. Updated on 30 Jul 2013: Here is my nose at the one year mark and I absolutely love it. The tip is dropping even now and there has been noticeable difference in the swelling even now.
I am going to have a DIEP flap construction with Mr. Tyler on the 30th April (this week in fact). I am concerned of course, however I am remaining confident having done so much research about him and so far I have not read anything derogatory about his skills and capabilities within this field. I will post back photos and video pending my results and will give you my blog address so you can see the outcome firsthand!
