Thank you for your inquiry and descriptive photograph. I will give you a "short answer" here, but you will find much more in-depth information by accessing RealSelf's Web Reference below. Yes- you are a candidate for a "Vaginal Reconstruction" (aka vaginoplasty/perineoplasty) type of "Vaginal Rejuvenation." From your photograph, you appear to have sustained a breakdown of your "perineal body," the fibromusculalar foundation of your perineum and vaginal opening. Most often, when there is the degree of damage you have sustained, there is also breakdown of the vaginal pelvic floor, with damage to & separation of the muscles of the outlet (bulbospongiosis, bulbocavernosis, transverse perinealis) and the mid-pelvic floor (the "levator" musculature, especially the puborectalis muscles.) The "fix" is SURGICAL, and is best performed by a "Cosmetic Gynecologist" or "Cosmetic Urogynecologist," as these "super-specialists" have been trained in both rebuilding this musculature and cosmetically finishing the job in an aesthetic manner to mimic pre-baby appearance. You may visit a general gynecologist, plastic surgeon, or dermatologist who will try to talk you into a "minimally invasive" vaginal rejuvenation via a "machine," laser or radiofrequency. The only thing these "me-too" procedures, performed by docs & midlevel practitioners not specifically trained in vaginal reconstruction/vaginoplasty, do is provide very slight short-term tightening, do not rebuild anything (they only act on surface skin), do not in any way provide cosmetic benefit, and take your money & pay the prectitioner's lease payment! From your photo I cannot tell whether a perineoplasty only would do the job for you, or whether you are better a candidate for a full vaginoplasty (which includes a perineoplasty.
I have performed many (over 250) of these procedures, but you have other experienced practitioners closer to home: Dr. Marco Pelosi III in northern NJ, Dr, Rob Jason in NYC, Drs. Rob Moore or John Miklos in Atlanta, plus my trainees Robert Harris in Jackson, MS,and Cynthia Frazier in Caswell Beach, NC. I have also trained at least 5-6 surgeons in NYC, and at least a dozen in Texas in my techniques. Do your "due diligence, check websites for evidence of knowledge, technique, training, "before & after " photos, and overall understanding of the situation, and stay away from "wand-wavers..!"
Very best wishes,
