Dr.Nusbaum has been part of my weight loss journey since I was in my early 20's. I was unhappy, uncomfortable, and lost on what options I had. Dr. Nusbaum is an amazing surgeon. I had my sleeve with him in 2016 and went from 265 lbs to 133 lbs. I’m 5’6” and was never able to get below 180 my entire adult life. Since the surgery, he’s operated on two of my best friends, my boss, my boss’s wife and my first cousin. He’s also done a hair transplant on my boss’s brother and CoolSculpting on myself and my sister. I recommend him to everyone!

I had a gastric sleeve a year ago and I'm now down 200 lbs. I started at 420 lbs and I'm now 220 lbs and at 6'1" I feel like I'm in a good place. I can't say enough about how amazing Dr. Nusbaum and his staff are. The nutritionist Karla is awesome too. My concierge Wanda is sweet, caring and goes out of her way for you. My procedure was done on July 2013 at 23 years old. I have lost 80lbs so far. Everything was fine until 2 months ago. I have pain every day on my left abdominal area, have really bad acid reflux and a hiatal hernia was just discovered (had none of this before). Not one doctor can tell me why I have pain, they have done numerous of ct scans, X-rays, ultrasounds. At this point I am very frustrated and I do not know what to do. My surgeon wants to take a look inside my abdomen to look at every organ, however, I am very scared of surgery and I do not think that this is the best for me right now. I believe that the surgery has something to do with my issues, even though, everybody tells me the opposite. Sometimes I wish I could go back. Any advice? Has anyone experienced any of these problems?
