I’m 38 and just had upper eyelid bleph yesterday. Both of my parents had it done so chubby eyelids just run in the family I guess. I was fortunate to have it covered by insurance based on my before pictures and a taped and untaped visual field test. So here are the photos moments before surgery and immediately after. More updates to come! Updated on 10 Feb 2021: 2 days post op. Feels tight today but looks on track! Stitches come out in 2 days. ............................................................................................................................. Updated on 12 Feb 2021: Feeling great and looking better each day! The doctor was very pleased with how it is coming along! Treated myself to some new makeup too for when I can wear it again. Can wait to wear my wings again lol! Updated on 13 Feb 2021: Bruising is clearing dramatically each day. Turning yellow.............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. Updated on 16 Feb 2021: Today is day 8 post op and my first day back to work. My incisions are closed but I put a thin layer of liquid bandaid on them to protect them from the makeup just because they are still fragile. I was thrilled when for the first time in I can’t remember how long I didn’t have to hold up my upper lid while applying mascara! I think I look so much more feminine now. Cue Shania Twain...Man I feel like a woman lol
Hands down the best! Great Dr. and the staff is awesome too. Had a Bust Reduction (6lbs removed with each breast) I am so happy with the results. The hospital, Beaumont was great too went in at 6 was home later that day.
I’ve had several surgeries breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, blioplasty and lowers lid my face and body looks so natural and in my opinion a great plastic surgeon like Dr. Busuitto is at the top of his class. Of course there was pain in healing to be expected! Dr. B is truly an artist!
I am 47 years old. 5' tall and weigh 120. I finally lost 50pds this past year. My reward was a tummy tuck! Now I'm 6 weeks post full tummy tuck with extensive muscle repair!!!!! I have had no true complications at all. The pain though was so much worse then I expected. I had 2 C-section 19+ years ago so I thought I knew what to expect!! Boy was I wrong!!!!! My daughter stayed on the main floor with me for the first few days and nights! What a blessing she was!!!!!! The first day I was able to where my capris but on the 3rd day post op I couldn't even make it up my thighs!! Now I'm at 6 weeks post op and the swelling is just starting to go down but I feel very fat!!!!!!!!!!!! My clothes are tight and I am up 5 pounds!!!! I am going to start light exercising this week. I can't wait!!!!!! I wish I would of found this site sooner!!! I have been getting depressed re: the swelling. I feel so much better after reading that so many other people have it too!!!!! I will keep you posted on my progress. I went back to work after 3 weeks. I highly recommend 6 to 8 weeks off!!!!!Updated on 16 Oct 2012:I am now 4 months post surgery and my swelling is almost gone but I do need a revision!!!!! I rather need some more skin cut off than have necrosis though. I am not upset with my surgeon because I am so small and I had sooo much skin. My pastic surgeon played it safe. I had twins almost 20 years ago and they stretch me to the limit!!!! I was 57" round and 60" tall!!!!!!! I started back at the gym a few weeks ago. I still can't do any abdominal w ork outs but YOGO has been awesome for me. The stretching feels amazing!
I had a breast reduction due to severe upper back pain making in difficult to sleep. I was sleeping on 4-5 pillows almst upright. I had the surgery 2 weeks ago. I was a 36 DD and had asked for a healthy C cup. What i got was a miss shaped ugly B cup. I am so furious about it that I am now suffering severe anxiety. I don't know how to get out of it. Just be sure you get it in writiing the size your asking for.
I am scheduled for a reduction on 12/4/2023. Pretty anxious. In 2015 I had DCIS, surgery followed by radiation. Generally I am a DD. To me my left side that had the cancer and treatments is a small D and my right side has grown to maybe a J. Doctor said o am going down to a B. In 2013/2014 I was 114 lbs. which was less than I'd like it was under a lot of stress. The weight has continued to increase to 193. I'd be happy around 130. Menopause is no joke! Wish me luck to the future of a happy less painful life so I can start to be more active.
