First I want to say that at Contour MedSpa, we are dedicated to to helping our clients achieve goals to help them feel as confident as possible. The pictures you've attached are really difficult to see if you are a good candidate. Yes, ,it's true that CoolSculpting is a "contouring" procedure that benefits people who eat healthy and exercise but still have stubborn fat areas that bother them. In looking at your photos, it's hard to see if there is any measurable "fat" to sculpt off. If you are still concerned about your body, go and get a free consultation, and get a technician / expert to give you feedback.
So glad to hear you are seeing results so quickly! At Contour MedSpa, we tell our patients that they should see their results within 90 days. Of course, your final goal will not be achieved until you've completed your entire treatment (3-6 treatments depending on the area and your body) and it is a permanent result! The fat is gone forever!
Mike - Although it is possible to have turned on the suction for the applicators without initiating the cooling, the automatic portions of the CoolSculpting procedure like the 3 minute timer, is based on the cooling portion, not the suction. In other words, the technician gets automatic alerts for certain steps, like when the cooling is nearing completion to ensure that someone is not cooled longer than they are supposed to be. It would be evident that the cooling had not been initiated. I might ask how long it has been since you had the procedure? Although some people may see results in as little as 1 month, most people will not see optimal results for 2 or even 3 months. If you are still swollen, I'm guessing it has not been enough time to see results. Your clinic ought to be following up with you during this time to assess how you are doing and to perform pictures. I know it's hard to be patient, but I would suggest that you continue to allow the effects to work and contact your clinic for further clarification.
At Contour MedSpa, we have many clients with fantastic results using Dysport. It's a great option for those who want to decrease signs of aging but still have some movement in their face. In general, this is a quick "lunchtime" treatment. We do provide ice packs after treatment if necessary, but typically there is no bruising, swelling or bleeding. If you bruise easily or you take blood thinning medications, you may have minimal bruising in the treatment area, but that would be gone in 1-2 days. With our Injectable skin rejuvenation treatments, we recommend no vigorous exercise for 24 hours. This just ensures that the Dysport doesn't travel outside of the treatment area.
At Contour MedSpa, we recommend our clients stop using Retin-A or Retinol products 1-2 weeks prior to Laser Hair Removal Treatment. Retin-A is a very good product and highly recommended; however, it can cause side effects if not stopped prior to Laser Hair Removal including: burning of the skin, hyper-pigmentation (darkening of the skin) and hypo-pigmentation (lightening of the skin).
