Just had my pre op appt with Barbara today. She's so amazing and I left feeling so confident about surgery. I will be having a mastopexy (breast lift), extended tummy tuck, inner and outer flanks (thighs) liposuction on January 10th. I've been doing so much research. I'm 32, mother of 3 kids, had significant weight loss and lifestyle change in the last 18 months. Ready for a new me! Updated on 9 Jan 2022: Super anxious and nervous. Took a hot shower to calm my nerves. Took my final “before” photos. Finalized childcare to help my husband. I think I’m in denial that this is finally happening! Everything is laid out for the morning and ready to go. Updated on 11 Jan 2022: Surgery is done! I was there longer than we thought but all is well. Dr Freedland removed 17lbs of skin!! Insane. My thighs hurt the worst, they feel numb but burn. The drains are yucky and kind of annoying. Drinking fluids and trying to get something to eat.
After having kids I was left with one deflated boob. Felt very insecure, and never wore low cut tops because my boobs was very nonexistent. Always wanted a breast augmentation and finally did my research. Looked into a few surgeons but most consultations was booked into next year! Dr.Freedland was able to get me in within a few weeks which I was so relieved. Consultation was free which was also great, he was wonderful to work with. His staff was informative and made sure to make me feel comfortable. Gave me a few information and we got the talking about my ideal boobs, told me I would have to come back for my sizing, which they got me in the next week. I told him I wanted to be a full C to small D. So I was looking at 450CC. When I tried it on, it was not what I thought it would be. My fiancé didn't like it either. In my head I was thinking anything over 400CC would be too crazy, but the more I was trying on, the higher the implants got. Tried on 600CC and we both knew it was the one! I know, 600CC sounds insanely huge!! Which it was, but my body frame is wide and I needed implants that would portion my body out. So I went with 600CC high profile round silicone under the muscle. I asked how soon can I get my surgery and was able to book in two weeks!! Day of surgery went so smooth. I went into the surgical center and my appointment was at 10. Didn't have to wait long at all. The staff at the surgical center was so amazing! They made sure to make me feel well relaxed and calm. When I was wheeled into the surgery room, got my anesthesia and was out like a light! Felt like a good nap. When I was waken I was being wheeled back into my room and didn't feel a thing. Surgery was about 45 minutes and I was ready to go home right after. Once I got home I felt pretty tired and boobs was hard as rocks! Sleeping was so painful and till this day still is. I would rate the pain a 8/10. The first week was definitely hard. I took two weeks off work and still felt very limited. My body was not used to the implants whatsoever. At my post opt appointment, Dr.Freedland was very fast and straightforward. Said I was still swollen and to come back in 4 months. I am now 1 month post opt and feeling alittle better but still swollen. I can see alittle dropping but still sitting very high. I been having sharp pain on only one side of my breast that I also alerted my surgeon, but he said it's just my nerves. Feels very painful to the touch but gonna give it some time before I notify him again. Overall I'm happy about my boobs. I can't wait for my end results and sorry about this long review! Updated on 11 Jan 2022: 9 weeks and they are getting settled. Boob greed is real. I told myself, go big or go home. Guess I didn't go big enough because now I feel like they are small. I'm hoping when they "fluff" the boobs will start to look better. As of right now, some days I love them, some days they are just "eh". Would love a second option on if they look like they are bottoming out or just settling in? When I look at them I feel like I don't have alot of cleavage on top? Or is that just me being my biggest critic? Updated on 13 Dec 2022:
I've always wanted bigger boobs since I never got them as a teenager lol. After nursing 3 kids and now being done I decided it was time! My surgery was on 6/18 and it went really smooth. I was really nervous but had 3 c sections before so I figured I could handle whatever pain I'd feel after. Updated on 26 Jun 2021: My before pic didn't load in my original review...so I uploaded my before, day 2 and day 4 progress photos. I'm amazed at how little swelling I have now and they are shaping nicely already. I'm so happy with my results so far!
Hi! I’m 23, with a 1 year old. Never breastfed. I’m currently 3 days post op of getting 480cc silicone under muscle on the right, then 450cc silicone on the left. I’m not sure if they look normal but I took my first shower which I was told I was allowed to do 48 hours after surgery. I got very discouraged looking at them which i was told what would most likely happen but I need to know if they look like they are doing well for 3 days post op? I am in pain on my armpit area and can’t lift my right arm at all but my left arm isn’t an issue
Superior Surgeon who delivers superior results. Dr. Freedland is simply fantastic. I had the best experience(s) with him. I received abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) which was amazing and I also returned for liposuction in different areas. No tubes needed w/the other lipo! I had visited a few Plastic Surgeons (Board certified as well.) prior to finding Dr. Freedland which included my past breast augmentation procedures however, I knew sticking w/Dr. Freedland was a "no-brainer." I knew three things were more then likely guaranteed if I returned: Friendliness, outmatched professionalism and outperformed cosmetic results. Though it's fair to say every patient's body, health, anatomy and nature of surgery is different, I truly feel Dr. Freedland removes the most "fat" possible while aligned with safety compared to some other Surgeon's (slightly caviler or possibly sloppily) performance. My opinion is he really does have a circumspect eye and artistic medical touch, he really "sculpts" and contours carefully." Dr. Freedland is very receptive of the patient's concerns and cosmetic desires while talking and you can understand that he greatly comprehends "how the patient wants to look." I studied countless credible before and after photos from Board Certified Plastic Surgeons and their patients on a national base from CA,MI,to FL and NY. Dr. Freedland patients just have better, greatly noticeable cosmetic outcomes and look amazing. When Dr. Freedland communicates with you, he leaves nothing unturned and delivers effective communication in a friendly manner. (His jokes are pretty funny too.) He explains & states everything in correct and proper medical terminology and also in simple terms that are very easy to understand and takes time for all questions. His staff both times provided me with the most professional courtesy I think I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing from any medical professionals. No pressure to book surgery, makes you feel comfortable when looking at the price, gives you the time you need to "look over everything." Also, the staff is very medication savvy and knowledgeable. If you have any allergies, reactions or simply respond poorly to certain (pain) medications, say that make you really nauseous rest assured that they will develop that best medication plan for you. (I wish I would have found them sooner.) I was cost conscious and the price was *fair and satisfactory in my opinion. Another Freedland distinction is that he will call or talk in person to your care giver in addition to you. I received two surprise courtesy phone calls directly from Dr. Freedland himself just to "check on me." (I'm unsure if that was related to the severity or my type of surgery but it was great treatment my husband and I never received before.) Staff is very quick to help if you have concerns at home after surgery. After three kids (large beautiful sons) Dr. Freedland restored a piece of my confidence and I suppose a small counterpart of my happiness I lost along the way of also another rewarding journey of motherhood I thought I could never regain. I'm so happy I was in good hands and got to experience the Freedland difference, I think potential future patients deserve to as well!
I’m only a week post op but I’m loving my results already!! Dr.Freedland did an amazing job! I’ve wanted a breast aug since I was 18 and it took me 13 years and 2 babies later to decide that now was the time. I was terrified for the outcome but so far I’m so thrilled. Updated on 29 Dec 2018: After only a week I’m feeling fantastic. Swelling has gone down and I can tell they are dropping a little! I can’t wait to continue to see how they change. Updated on 29 Dec 2018: Here’s my stats 5’5” 140 pounds 12 BWD 400cc Mentor HP under muscle Was a 34 B Updated on 15 Jan 2019: So I’m nearly one month post op and LOVING my results so far. I obviously still have some settling to do but they look and feel fantastic! Updated on 30 May 2019: It’s been 6 months and I feel like I’m pretty much healed and they are settled. To say I love them is an understatement! I’m so glad I did this and chose the surgeon I did. I love that they look and feel natural yet give me the confidence I was looking for. ???? I have wanted a BA for many years but just recently decided to go through with it , I have consulted with two PS thus far. I’m traveling an hour away as I like the last surgeons method and liked his post op pics . Updated on 3 Dec 2018: Dr. Freedland seemed nice , he was informative and answered my questions . The staff were very nice as well and made me feel comfortable. After three different consults with other DR.’ S in my area I choice Dr. Freedland , I think I’ll be in good hands ! Updated on 4 Dec 2018: Still searching for pictures of women with Same stats as me , I’m thinking 500 will be too small . I’m 5’7 160 lbs but started a diet want to get to 150 before sx Updated on 6 Dec 2018: Ugh, can’t wait for new breasts!! 5’7 160 # Anyone have any suggestions to prepare for BA ? I already ordered post op bras, arnica tabs and gel, silicone gel pads for incisions, reusable ice packs . Anything I’m missing ? I’m so nervous but yet so excited . My biggest fear is something going wrong with anesthesia and risking my life because I have children ! I do know that I over analyze things and am a worry wart my nature and that statistically BA is very safe in the hands of a board certified Surgeon but my mind can’t help but wonder . Updated on 12 Jan 2019: Tried on different sizers today , I am confused because they seemed big but the side profile lacked projection , I wonder if this is true to size post-op. Anyone have any suggestions . Pics below are with 550 cc much bigger than I planned but I have broad shoulders and an 5’7 and weigh 158# . Also, the lady that helped me said you will lose some Cc going behind the muscle with saline . Updated on 18 Feb 2019: So surgery is less than two weeks away and my nerves are getting the best of me ! I have been under anesthesia three times , only once as an adult and is was laparoscopic . Anyways, I probably should say off google . My concerns are , what if end up with worse then I have. What if Inplant is too high and nipple too low? What if I don’t do well anesthesia, ugh. I confirmed last week I’m getting 560 cc saline under muscle high profile , I wanted a moderate profile but because of my BWD I have to get high . Updated on 25 Feb 2019: So surgery is in 4 days and I have been having a sore throat and burning sinuses , called teledoc and they said sinus infection and called in an antibiotic. I’m soo bummed and will probably cry if I need to reschedule as my husband has already taken the time off for work . Ugh I never get sick either just my luck z Updated on 27 Feb 2019: Going to try and get to bed early but my nerves has me all over the place . Have all my bedside supplies set out , water bottles, arnica tabs, arnica gel, pain meds, bendy straws , post op instructions . Hopefully everything pans out , my hubby was only able to take three days off of work and we have a 11 month old ( not walking just yet ) . This worries me bc I’m not suppose to lift anything for 2 weeks per the instructions . Guess will have to clarify this with my PS. I have a very helpful 11 year old too so I’m thinking she will be a big help playing with her brother . I’ll check back in tomorrow and post on my surgery . Updated on 28 Feb 2019: Just Laying around , sore and lot of pressure. Most comparative to when my Breast milk came in after my last baby . One Breast from what I can see looks more swollen although I know PS said he was to add more cc to one breast for symmetry. Holy cow , that side is swollen almost to collarbone . Hope it goes down and nipple placement falls nicely . About procedure : Surgery took less that an hour , I was very surprised I got wheeled in at 11:20 and woke up from anesthesia at 12:15 ! Dr. Feeedland had good bedside manner and the post op RN was very kind . Updated on 1 Mar 2019: So it’s a whole day and yesterday I felt pretty well. I could not sleep for crap last night as I was elevated as instructed and on my back . Today I have been taking it easy, I have been taking the Vicodin every four hours , and I’m still in a lot of discomfort . I don’t have a low pain tolerance. I think the fact that the implants are so large are causing me pain . I hope this doesn’t last too much longer because I feel very limited , I barley can use my arms and need assistance getting up I also have the “ spongebob square boob” and it’s unsightly . I do know it will go away . Updated on 2 Mar 2019: Today was uneventful , less pain today , took a shower and took off extra gauze as instructed. Was surprised at how small the incisions are . I’ve had a lingering headache all day and it became pretty bad , took half a norco to help . So far I’ve only had half of a norco today and just plain Tylenol I am very tired though, and chest feels very heavy . I started to freak out about my breathing but just have been taking deep breaths every so often. Hoping tomorrow’s a even better day . Oh and the girls look crazy less swelling in one so that’s a plus . Updated on 4 Mar 2019: Today I am feeling much better , still taking it easy bc I get shooting pains whenever I try to over use my arms . I actually was able to do my hair this morning too . Still lots of swelling and breasts look square like to me and one is defiantly bigger than the other but I’m hoping it will even out . Does anyone know when the implants strut to drop ? Oh, I have also been doing deep breathing exercises to keep my lungs open post anesthesia and for the fact that when your chest hurts like this you take more shallow breaths . Updated on 5 Mar 2019: Think I may have over used my arms today, I did some light house work and had no pain but now my right side seems a bit more swollen . I managed to only take two Tylenol today and my arnica pellets . Thursday is my appt with nurse so looking forward to seeing how I am healing . This will be one week post op. Updated on 5 Mar 2019: Switched bras the one they sent me home with was so tight and made my breathing restricted or so it felt . Updated on 6 Mar 2019: Happy for post op tomorrow I have tons of questions . Today I felt pretty good, did some very light housework , which really made me exhausted . Lol . It sure why I’m so tired . Swelling Seems to be coming down . They are still hard feeling and high. Only needed one half of a pain pill this am bc morning boob is horrible . Showered again today and when I take my bra off I feel so much pressure is an odd feeling . Updated on 10 Mar 2019: Still feeling overly tired mid day and requiring a nap , pain is fine just little zings here and there . Still feel loads of pressure when I take my bra off to shower . I’m assuming this is just from new added weight that I’m not use to just yet . Post op appt with nurse went well , she said they put 600 cc in left and 630 cc in right ! I think there were some misunderstandings because I wanted a 500 cc saline implant filled only to 600 and less in the larger breast . I guess 30 cc is not that big of a difference . Breast still look very odd to me . I want instructed to do any massages which I was hoping to do so I could help with the dropping and fluffing . Updated on 15 Mar 2019: Feeling good, no pain but did wake up with a deep pain in my sternum. I think I slept wrong . Waiting for drop and fluff . They have dropped some and swelling went down , my right side is still higher and harder as expected . Just not liking how they look . They don’t look pretty at all and it’s depressing me . Updated on 17 Mar 2019: So today I woke up no pain but odd burning sensitive skin feeling on both breast and nipples . There’s no rash so I’m assuming it’s my skin stretching ? Started using coco butter in hopes to not get anymore stretch marks then the ones I started with . Not sure why but I been feeling so sleepy ! I have had anemia in the past but my hemoglobin before surgery was 13 which is normal and dr told my husband I had minimal bleeding during surgery. Just thinking it’s part of the healing process and from being sedentary. Anyways , today I am liking my boobs lol they are starting to look better to me and not all weird and high , right is still higher up and I still have steri strips on that haven’t fallen off , I’m Curious to see scars . Updated on 17 Mar 2019: Just adding a before and after comparison , pre op and 16 days post Updated on 17 Mar 2019: Side view laying down , yay no more flopping lol Updated on 18 Mar 2019: So although I don’t have pain , in my left breast towards the bottom I have a full like pressure feeling almost numb . Not sure if this is normal because it’s not in both breast . It’s worrying me and I just emailed the nurse about it and also asked a question on here but was messages that I couldn’t ask this kind of question . Anyone experience this feeling ? Updated on 19 Mar 2019: Sleeping on my back as proven to be difficult to me . I’m told three weeks is best to keep implants in shape during healing . Ugh. I’m a stomach sleeper but I realized I’ll have to give that up after surgery as they say it’s not good after anytime with implants . That’s ok ! The price of beauty lol Updated on 21 Mar 2019: Doing well besides still having to take a mid afternoon nap, have got back to my household duties but still not lifting anything too heavy . My right breast is still stubborn and higher up . This is concerning but it has been this way since day one and the nurse told me that it was okay and normal . My steri strips are still on and I was told they would fall off on their own but it’s been about three weeks and still are very adherent . Hope this doesn’t cause an infection being on so long as I have read women at my days PO and they have already had steri strips taken off . Updated on 22 Mar 2019: So steri strip fell off and now I’m freaking out ! A piece of scar looks like it didn’t close all the way! Updated on 23 Mar 2019: I noticed today that my left incision has a piece of suture poking through . Hope this doesn’t cause any complications have been doing wound care twice a day . Updated on 24 Mar 2019: They are finally starting to drop and look more like breasts! I am hoping they come down a little more and Aren’t so huge lol. Don’t get me wrong I like big breasts but I feel mine are still swollen . Updated on 26 Mar 2019: Loving my cleavage today, my left breast still looks bigger but that’s because my right one is still higher up I am hoping they will be more symmetrical once drop and fluff finishes . Updated on 29 Mar 2019: Finally feel my normal energy level returning , still sleeping on back and laying flat feels odd like a pulling tension feeling in my breasts . Looking forward to my dr visit to see where I’m at in this healing process . Updated on 3 Apr 2019: Post op went well, Dr. said incisions looked good but still had a lot of swelling . It seemed rushed and I forgot the questions I wanted to asked. Lol. I do t have to go back until August . Nothing new to report besides I just started silicone sheets . Updated on 13 Apr 2019: Noting new really, pain is gone completely , although I’m certain movements when I use my arms and bare weight I can feel my pec muscle moving the implant , I hope that goes away bc it feels awkward . Incisions are good, I had spitting suture but it got re absorbed and that part of scar is widened . Tomorrow is 6 weeks post op and would be lifted off any restrictions . I like my breast and there’s a big difference pre operatively. I have been using bio oil to reduce stretch marks and prevent new ones . I have noticed they lightened some . Updated on 15 Apr 2019: 6 more weeks and they will look how they’re going to . I’m pleased with results so far , but oddly when I massage my scars I feel like hair bubbles . Is this the implant ? You can see it just can feel it and it’s mostly on my left crease area where I had the spitting suture . It’s only felt by creases . Updated on 2 May 2019: My right breast is still higher up, I emailed the nurse and she said just can take time for it to catch up . I was worried I was in the onset of CC Updated on 2 May 2019: You can see it’s my right breast sits higher still . Left in pic Updated on 21 May 2019: Getting discouraged, right breast still higher . Although I had some differences pre surgery it wasn’t this noticeable . The office said it can take up to 6 months for right breast to relax . Seems like a long time . Updated on 27 May 2019: I still haven’t went bra shopping , still using my sports bras . I think I’ll go next week to get my official size I don’t think they are DD’s bc they don’t seem that big to me . We shall see ! Updated on 29 May 2019: Just adding a pic update in clothes . Don’t mind my belly fluff , working on losing 10 lbs . Lol Updated on 29 May 2019: Pic update Updated on 18 Jun 2019: I am very happy with my procedure , it has been a rollarcoster , at times I second guessed my decision . Now I am happy with outcome , they aren’t perfect but they are to me . I recently lost 10 lbs with 10 more to go and was worried it would make my breast look saggy and deflated , so far so good ! Updated on 22 Jun 2020: So it’s been awhile since I updated . A little over a year now and I love the way my BA turned out. My right breast is a little smaller but it was that way to begin with . Sisters not twins . Lol. Updated on 27 Jun 2020: I love that I can play them up or down . Although I thought I was going to come out with too big of breast that looked fake, I took my surgeons advice . Go big or go home lol. A year later they have settled and feel so soft yet firm . Happy with my surgeon and results .
So after years of excuses I decided that at age 29, I would finally get my breast implants that I always dreamed of having. I’m 29 and had asymmetrical breasts. (Right side was larger than the left.) I also have type 1 Diabetes and was nervous about the healing process. I went in wanting a “C” cup, but it all goes by your body type and shape. After trying on a few different implants as a fitting, the ones I liked for my body type was 600 cc. You expect them to look “fake or huge” but that was not the case. I’m 5’7, 180 lbs and had a small B cup. So what looked good and “natural” for my body would be the 600 cc. I chose to get the silicone (more pricey) but they are also guaranteed for life. You’ll never have to replace them, (u less you want a lift later on in life.) also please note, I never had any kids, never broken any bones, has no surgeries of any kind, and never been under anesthesia before. Pre-op: Night before surgery: took my antibiotic. No eating or drinking. Made sure things were readily available for me (you won’t be able to move for a few days, not even comb your hair or barley brush your teeth). Surgery: checked in and got hooked up to the IV/antibiotics. Was rolled into the surgery center and after the mask was put on with anesthesia, I was out cold. Surgery only took 45-1 hour. Two small incisions under my boobs under my muscle. Post-op: so my body didn’t hand the Anesthesia well. Post op is usually an hour but I was there for 4. I was vomiting and in horrible pain. I felt more comfortable around nurses than home for that time. After those 4 hours went home. For that day, and on day 2 of post op. It’s unbearable pain. I was put on Vicodin, nausea meds and arcania topical and pellets for the soreness and stiffness. You won’t be able to even lift yourself out of bed. Don’t force it. Use legs only to move. Also sit up. You don’t want t lie down flat to lay down/sleep. Keep your heart above your stomach. Ice all the time! Day 3: I was super sore and stiff too, and vomiting from the Vicodin and pills. I just made sure I ate when I took the pills and drank water constantly. You will have dry mouth terribly! Day 4: I can get up by myself and move around, but extremely stiff and sore. I’m weaning off the Vicodin and taking Advil instead. (Helps with the swelling). Use ice packs every 30 mins on and off. I’m able to eat and keep it down (since Vicodin makes you very nauseous). Updated on 20 Feb 2018: It’s been around 11 days since surgery. I’m still very sore, but healing perfectly! Here’s a before and after pic. I’ll keep updating as time progresses and my boobs “fall”.
So it’s about a year after my breast revision. At the age of 21 I had saline implants 380cc where I went from a 34b to a 34D. 14 years later I decided to upgrade and increase my implant size. I now went from a 34D to now I measure 34F maybe lol. Well let’s say no bras really fit. I am super happy with the revision. I feel that they are not much larger even though each implant is 625cc. My doctor even laughed a bit when I asked are these really 625? But I think it’s like they were big before so I don’t see the dramatic change. Everyone else says different. Either way I love the difference in softness and look compared to the saline. Mind you saline was only allowed at the time unless you were a reconstruction or second breast aug. I had the same doctor perform my second surgery. Dr. Michael Freedland Amazing Doctor highly recommend. Updated on 24 Jan 2018: Been a year and love the revision surgery. Best I have felt in a long time.
Ever since I was 14 years old be waited for my boobs to grow and it just never happened. I am so excited to finally feel like a woman!! I am very active and it’s been really important to me to choose a size not too big... my biggest fear is feeling like I went too big! I’m going to Doctor Freedland and have been very impressed with him and Stevie so far. They have been so patient with all of my questions, and have eased my anxiety about the procedure and outcomes. I am 5’7”, 120 lbs, no kids with a breast width of 12 cm and a chest circumference of 28”. I will post more for this entire process so far and to come! My surgery date is in 1 week on Thursday, 11/16. Updated on 20 Nov 2017: These are some before pictures, barely an A
