My experience with Carolyn Presby Physician Assistant at Miami Plastic Surgery was flawless. Her warm manners and reassurance put me at ease for my treatment. She was incredibly profesional and very knowledgeable with their products. After the treatment with Kybella I was really blown away by the results! Carolyn is a true master at her job! The office itself was beautiful and well located. The staff were very friendly, prompt, and helpful.
Carolyn is amazing!! I highly recommend her for any laser hair removal procedure. Her and staff are just so sweet and nice. I’ve had an amazing experience with the staff from the south miami and kendall clinic
I have some inner thigh fat that had been impossible to remove by diet and exercise. I came in to see Carolyn Presby, PA for further details regarding cool sculpting. Carolyn is so friendly and knowledgable I decided to try it. The results were amazing. The pocket of inner thigh fat was visibly reduced. Carolyn's bedside manner made me feel at ease throughout the procedure. I would highly recommend cool sculpting and Carolyn to anyone who is interested.
Hi everyone I decided to post my experience because I know how much it helped me when I was looking for answers. I found it difficult to find many post on ppl whom got a TT at 180 lbs + who had massive weight loss and for that reason I decided to post. Alrhough I had my surgery just 4 days ago I feel I'm going to be happy with the results keeping in mind I'm extremely swollen specially on my right side more than my left but I had more fat and hanging skin on that side so it makes sense I will post before and after pics . If you have any questions please feel free to ask !!!! Updated on 14 Jun 2015: Hi everyone I'm doing good have had some issues with my BB I had some stitches open and a bit of infection which I'm dealing with. however the part that seems most worrisome to me is that pants that fit me when I had the flab now don't close also I have one side a lot bigger than the other. I'm told it's swelling but scared it's not. I've tried looking up pics of post op swelling but have had no luck . Is it possible to swell so much ur bigger than u were pre op ? I mean I know he took off a significant amount of skin I see it but this supposed swelling is terrifying me !!!! When I touch my tummy the skin feels flabby and soft is this swelling ? I had too bad experience with a plastic surgery i made on april on other location witha cuban doctor on bird road , his name is ricardo Presas, i never recommend him, so this time I really investigate to an surgeon plastic approved and I read about Doctor Kelly and Doctor Wolf, i went to a consultation and all was perfect, on time, too sweet nurses, recepcionist, great and marvelous with me. I had a surgery my tummy tuck with doctor kelly, 2 days ago, all was excellent , on time, all peopletake care of you, after the surgery doctor kelly came to see you and then he send his personal nurse call Grace, omg !!! She stays with you all night, helping you, doctor kelly constantly calls her to check how am i feeling, i don't have pain, i recommend all people who needs the tummy tuck to go to baptist hospital and do the surgery withdoctor kelly. Some times people can think oh but is too expensive, yeah maybe , but believe me you can't go to any doctor , you can't take the risk , is your life!!, your face, your body!!. Updated on 14 Jan 2015: Hi everyone 1 week ago i had a surgery ( tummy tuck) with adr Kelly at the baptist hospital. I will try to put some pictures in the following 3 weeks. Today i have my appointment with doctor kelly. As i told you before, i never had pain, so i never took my pills for pain. I have a 2 story house, 3 days i go upstairs easily, and i don't need help to take a shower or put my gather or dresses. I do all by my self. Only the first 2 days you need help to do all, stsnd up or seat down etc. also you have to stand up slowly, first you have to seat and then with your legs( not your abdominals) stand up and walk. I eat healthy so fruits, shakes, are good for me. i am using a moisturizer cream NiACIN that dr kelly gave me, after shower. I don't need massages so don't do that. Some people or clinics charge you a lot for massages, is not recommendable so you have to follow dr instructions. I have to use my gather is comfortable for 2 weeks, after then the doctor eill provide me with another, or you can use the colombian gather after 2 weeks., never before. I will put more in 2 weeks.
Carolyn is amazing! She is so calm and comforting throughout the entire procedure. She was very professional and walked me through the procedure step by step. My skin looks amazing! I can't wait to go back and see her again!! The procedure was painless and easy to sit through. I look younger and I can already tell my face looks so fresh and renewed!
Not really the type of person to go in for procedures, but after a comforting and informative consultation, I definitely made the right decision. Carolyn is absolutely the best in numerous aspects... Bedside manner, ability to answer questions and consideration toward comfort are priorities. FANTASTIC RESULTS IN A TIMELY MANNER!
I have suffered from migraines for the last 4 year (3-4 per week) often times resulting in serve nausea and ultimately vomiting. I have tried everything - appointments with the eye dr, dentist, oral surgeon, neurologist (3 of them), allergist, ENT, acupuncture, extensive blood work, you name it. this is the only thing that has literally saved my life and has allowed me to live a normal life, get pregnant and enjoy life with my young family. From there I began trying coolsculpting (twin tummy problems...) and had amazing results.
I had CS done because I have always had a belly despite never having children. I also have the muffin top. I am currently 5'3 and 137lbs. I could lose about 5 lbs to look better over all. I did go down to 114 two years ago but lost all my curves and looked like a skeleton. Even in the 120's range I had no curves. It goes to my belly, face, arms, and love handles. I previously did breast augment (BA) Jan 20 to balance out my body because of my abdomen protruding more. I am comfortable with my weight now +-5lbs. I did CS even though my sister did it on her belly (2 children) and her experience was passing out from pain after device removed and Physician Assistant (PA) began massaging the area. Afterwards her recovery went fine. She told the MD she would rather give birth again than CS! My experience having it done is worse. I had large applicator on abdomen and 4 small applicators on sides and flanks. The procedure on the abdomen was okay . It's just a little "whoa! Breath" and then nothing. It's the afterwards part when the applicator comes off. I calling it "thawing out" with a burning sensation. Immediately next the PA "massages" it for 1 minute to distribute the "crystallization" aka frozen tissue. Right! It's her kneading with knuckles and fingertips into frozen tissue part! It's the last and most important step. The pain was as if rubbing on a black and blue! I then walked off the pain for about 10 minutes till it was gone completely. Next came my right side which actually, knowing what to expect, it went fine. I even fell asleep. But same thing once it came off. Had to endure the massage then walk for about ten minutes. I wanted to quit but PA said I couldn't because I'll look lop-sided and I knew she was right. I endured the same with my left side. The next couple of days I was numb; sore, felt liked I worked out. Day 3 till now day 8 I have been so uncomfortable in only my abdomen. It feels like needles and fire. Anything touching or rubbing it like clothes intensifies it. It was worst yesterday during work. I am an RN and work on a busy med-surg unit. I couldn't take it. I kept lifting my pant scrubs off my stomach. I came home after and had a light beer to take edge off but it didn't help. So I gave in a took two left over Vicodin from my BA and it didn't help with the burning sensation nor help me sleep even after a 14 hr shift! I got up feeling the same. I took 600mg of Ibuprofen then Tylenol ES and nothing. Then I heard about wearing a compression garment (Spanx) but I don't need support and it made it worse with touching it. Don't want to do Gabapentin (PA suggested) because it's a anticonvulsant that also helps with neuralgia (Nerve Pain I have described) because there are too many serious side effects. I wish I was not told I would be fine afterwards (I know no one has a crystal ball). I accepted doing the procedure because I could handle the "bloating and soreness". But never did PA say a few have reported neuralgia. I hope I see results (20-30%) as I will be happy with that. But... I will not do it again and neither will my sister. I am just tired of feeling this way. In 3 mos I'll say no pain ,no gain, and glad it's done. I know most others say everything went fine. I guess I'm one of the unfortunate ones. I am not telling anyone "Don't do it". Everyone is different. This is just my honest experience I wanted to share because of how I'm feeling right now. I'm tired of feeling tired and this burning feeling. BTW, my surgeon did a beautiful job on my BA and I'm so happy. I am still a patient for skin care as well (Ana) and pleased with results! Updated on 25 Apr 2014: Ok it's exactly 49 days post CS. I experienced a lot of pain afterwards for about 3 1/2 weeks. I did finally take neurontin which kicked in on day 4 n took for 4 more days afterwards till the electrical zapping was gone. So here I am doing the same. I have lost about 4 lbs. My results so far is I'm not sure if I notice a difference from loss weight or the CS. I know I still have to wait for 3 mos or longer but just wanted to update for now. Hoping the $3000 price was worth it for at least 20% reduction.
I've always had a little extra fat around my tummy region and it seemed no matter how much I ate healthy and exercised, it never seemed to go away. I heard about CoolSculpting from Miami Plastic Surgery and was immediately interested. I had my procedure done on July 22nd (11 weeks ago) and the difference is amazing! My stomach has gotten so much flatter that my size 4 pants are fitting big! My husband was so impressed with the results that he is now going in to have the same procedure done! Thank you CoolSculpting for the boost of confidence you gave me!
Your left lower lip muscular depressors are not working due to an injury to your marginal mandibular nerve. These usually resolve on their own within a few weeks, If it persists, your Doctor can use Botox to teat the other side and balance your smile.Best of luck
Any time you cut the skin, you get a scar. That is a fact of life. As plastic surgeons, we try to make the scar as imperceptible as possible, but there is nothing that will make a scar vanish completely, or prevent a scar from occuring. Obviously, some patients make better scars than others. In my practice, we have found success using biocorneum after surgery which is a scar cream, and also treating scars with the pulse dye laser. These modalities may help you get the best possible scar as quickly as possible. In general, when done properly, facelift scars should really not be noticeable in the vast majority of patients. be sure to ask your surgeon to see pictures of his patients scars. best of luck
I agree that a facelift is probably necessary to give you an improvement that you will be happy with. It is always necessary to examine the patient though to be sure. Facelifts come in a variety of options and perhaps a less aggressive version, done with sedation as opposed to general anesthesia might give you enough improvement to make you very happy. Look at all of your options with a number of board certified surgeons until you feel comfortable with the plan. Best of luck
Absolutely. I would consider non-invasive treatments first: ultherapy or radiofrequency skin tightening. At your age, your elasticity should be such that a facelift would not be necessary to aceive the improvement you desire. congratulations on your weight loss. all the best
In my opinion, it is a little early to be considering radio frequency. I think it can provide additional skin tightening, but dont believe it will improve the hard areas you are noticing. I think those will get better with massage and time. Go cautiously at this early stage.
