From my initial consultation, to the week post surgery, Dr. Baroody, Meghan and Jacqueline were incredibly attentive to all of my needs and extremely helpful throughout my entire breast augmentation journey! HIGHLY recommend. Thank you All!
My life has changed for the better after seeing Dr. Michael Baroody! I am so pleased with my chin lipo over a year ago. Then I went back to contour my nose. . My chin was always an insecurity in photos, so I decided to go the surgical route after trying other things that didn’t work. I was referred by a friend who showed me a photo of their friends results. I am so glad that I found Dr.Baroody. This man’s hands are so steady, he was able to give me the results I was looking for. At the consultation he was able to explain and show me the results to expect from the rhinoplasty. I had chin lipo with Dr.Baroody a year ago and the results were everything I hoped for. A year later, I am glad I went back to him for my nose. Dr.Baroody made me feel very comfortable and understanding of what I was trying to achieve. I wanted natural looking results and got the exact outcome I was hoping for. He is also very patient with all my questions, and the post-op after my chin. (This was the first procedure of this kind that I had so I was nervous) but he made me feel comfortable every step of the process. I am beyond thankful for all of his great work!!! Beyond impressed!!
Amazing surgeon calm and very knowledgeable. He was very attentive for details. Called me the night of surgery to check up on me. Very patient with questions definitely will recommend him.he has done an incredible work on my body.
I'm 50 years old and a "virgin" of all things surgery. It took me 6 years to decide if this was the right choice. When I met Dr. Michael Baroody , right away I felt so comfortable and at ease!!. Very informative, detailed and honest!! So important for me as I was already very nervous but very excited too!. He held my hand while I laid on the operating table. Dr. Michael Baroodys office staff is Fantastic and polite!! I went from a 40D to a 32C and I am so Happy with the results!!! , Its been 6 days post op...still alot of healing to do, THANK YOU!!!!
Absolutely loved Dr. Baroody and his staff. Pretty sure I mentioned that a few times - he was honest and caring. His follow-up is amazing which is important when you have surgery. My husband appreciated that he was also honest with me about losing weight before my tummy tuck. After numerous diets, and exercise routines failed to accomplish what he did - it became frustrating. Absolutely frustrating... As a mother, this was the one thing I did for myself and feel great about the decision. We felt it important to prepare the month ahead of the surgery- ate 100 percent healthy, tons of greens, nuts, berries etc. to shed some pounds and get into good health for the recovery. This was a professional program that balanced my diet. This was optional and sought after by me but prepping and gaining strength after surgery was important since I care for my kids and home. And things have to get done. In short, I would recommend Dr. Baroody to anyone. I had a few prior consultations with other surgeons but didn't feel comfortable. Not every Dr. has a good bedside manner. Hope this helps!
So I've finally decided to get this done after years of deliberation. I feel great about it so far, will update as the process continues, as of now I am set for surgery on the 18th of November with a pre-op sit down with the doc this coming Monday, the 26th of Oct. -------------------------------------- Updated on 27 Oct 2015: So I've met with Dr. Baroody for the 2nd time, once again, he was helpful and awesome to talk to. Essentially, I have an enlarged Concha bowl, one side is even a little more enlarged then the other. Dr. Baroody says he will make 3 incisions, a tiny on on the front side of the helix, which if I recall correctly is to reset the ear memory that way it doesn't come back into the "natural" position it has gotten use to in the last 27 years. A second incision is made in the back of the ear behind the Concha bowl and he will remove a small crescent moon shaped piece of cartilage from each ear, which will reduce the size of my overall ears and give way for the 3rd incision which is needed to place the permanent sutures behind the top of my ears, from there he adjust to sutures to my desire and this suture will hold the ear in its new "natural" position. I'm extremely excited to be finally going through with this, and very happy with who I chose to preform the surgery. Unfortunately surgery is 3 weeks away, so there will be no more updates until then, but as soon as I am done and not in too much pain I will update accordingly. Updated on 20 Nov 2015: So, I'm two days removed from surgery, and for starters let me say this, the procedure is 100% pain free, minus a few pricks of the needle to administer the anesthesia. It goes by relatively quick, especially if you can chat it up with doc, which I did. I will also suggest the local anesthesia route for anyone interested in this procedure, due to the fact that you can decide how far back you want your ears, for instance, Dr. Baroody's initial positioning of my ear made a weird C shape, that I wasn't particularly fond of, so I was able to have them pushed back a little more at the top. Operation was relatively quick, I was in at 1:15pm and out at 2:55, I got to see the finished product before my entire head was wrapped and I can say that I am pretty optimistic for how they turn out over the next week or so. I then had my friend drive me home, which I come to find out wasn't really necessary, as i felt just fine to drive, but no harm no foul. The first day is by far the worst!!! This is not an over exaggeration, I've broken bones and teeth that have been less painful, I was prescribed Hydromorphone, and I took 2 every 4hrs round the clock, I'm not sure if they worked, because it still hurt like hell, but if they did, I cant imagine what the pain would have been without em. I couldn't sleep, or eat much due the jaw movement causing pain in the ears, the meds made me very nauseous, and caused a weird high, that made me loopy but not tired enough to fall asleep. I've also NEVER been a back sleeper, exclusively on my sides, so that was another issue, in the end, I dealt with the pain, watched TV for hours upon hours, ate soft foods like yogurt and soup, and finally fell asleep. Next day the pain had subsided by about 80%, I had a 10am to remove the wraps, this was relatively quick appointment, walk in, cut off wraps, clean up the blood, put ointment, then a velcro strapped headband, and I was out the door and back home. I spent the entire day on the couch again, sleeping on and off. Today, I feel much better, I woke up early as usual, I went out and did grocery shopping, with a generic black headband on, pain is almost non existent. That's really all I can really say about my experience with the procedure as of now. I know more people are interested about how the procedure turned out, but I don't want to lie to anyone and say that it did or did not work. My ears are still extremely swollen and bruised, they look horrifying, the positioning looks good, but they're larger then they were before because they are still healing. Dr. Baroody says by Sunday, I should see a significant difference and they should look close to normal. I can kind of envision that if and when they become the same size (in terms of thickness) and color as my ears used to be, they will look really good, and then I can for certain say weather or not this operation was a success, for now though, I'm left in dark just as you all are. Updated on 25 Nov 2015: So just got back from Dr. Baroody's office, had a routine checkup and the stitches removed, ears are still relatively swollen, my right side more so then my left. All in all they look really good, and I can thoroughly say that I am happy with the outcome. As the swelling goes down and the natural creases in my ear return, I will post more pics but for now here one to get an idea the changes. Updated on 10 Dec 2015: Everything is going better then expected, best thing ive ever done in my life. I'm aware my ears still aren't perfect, but I've always felt that the large protruding ears gave everyone that I've ever seen with them, including myself, a very goofy, immature look. Which thankfully I no longer have to worry about that. Anyways, still a little bruised and swollen, but as the days go on, I feel them getting better. I still wear the headband to bed, and sleep on my back, but I've woken up numerous times on my side with my headband mysteriously underneath my body lol, no issues though. I started going back to the gym this week, also no issues besides my headphones causing minor pain on my right ear (the more bruised and swollen one I mentioned in past updates). I'm honestly not sure what else to write about, Dr.Baroody previously informed me, that we're still ways out from seeing the final result. On an off note and something that i find funny, besides the people that I told I was getting surgery no one, and I mean no one that I work with or see frequently has said anything about my ears, which is truly what I wanted, for my ears not to be a focal point of my facial features.
I had 2 c sections and after having my kids my stomach was filled with stretch marks and saggy skin. I hated the way I looked and felt like I wanted to regain myself back! I was nervous about having my tummy tuck. But my results are way better than I was even hoping. I just ordered a bunch of bikinis for the summer, who would have thought that would happen again!?!
I am super happy with my results! Michael Baroody is a very caring person along with his staff. Every time I called I never had to call back my questions were answered, after my procedure he also called an checked on me. I couldn't ask for a better person to do my procedure! He did a full tt with lipo on my flanks, I am great flu after I had no drains! I read these stories and thought the worst! Honestly I think my c sections were way worse.
I am 25 years old. No children. Pre op I was a size 36A. I was never happy with the size or shape of my breasts and after many years of research and thinking hard on it, I decided for me it worth risking the possible side effects for the end result. I am currently 3 months post op. We decided on 450cc silicone implants under the muscle. Today I am a 34DD I could not be happier with my decision. I do have some stretch marks but in time I know they'll fade and be unnoticeable. I think my surgeon did an exceptional job. I never expected them to feel so real. I LOVE them!

There are a couple key things for you to understand about the procedure at your age. 1. You may not be able to breast feed in the future. 2. Your breasts may continue to grow and you may need a repeat procedure. Depending on your breast shape you may be a candidate for a short-scar breast reduction which will give you a nice shape without the need for an implant. I would not recommend doing both procedures at the same time. You may be happy with the reduction/lift and not need the added potential risks and maintenance of a breast implant.
There are various methods of performing breast lifts without using an implant and still get a perkier looking breast. I recommend a technique that rearranges your own breast tissue in essence placing your own breast tissue in the same position of the implant giving you a more long lasting result. If only skin is removed you may get a nice look initially but it is unlikely to last long. Gravity and tension will immediately begin to stretch the skin and when the swelling subsides, you may be unhappy with your result. Understand the technique and limitations to those techniques before proceeding.
Because your breasts are full and heavy, I would recommend a small reduction and a lollipop-type scar lift. I would also not simply remove skin but rearrange your breast tissue on the inside to decrease the tension on the incision line. Too much tension will widen your scars. Your skin looks as if it should retract well to a new breast shape instead of attempting to simply lift the breast with skin removal only.
Seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon is the first step in getting the most reliable information available. The surgeon will then use that knowledge in conjuction with your anatomy to give the best recommendation. A far as the base width is concerned, the true measurement is not the actual width of your chest from the breast bone to your side but rather the base width of the actual implant that would best fit your chest wall. You do not want an implant that would be positioned on your chest wall causing too much fullness under your arm. As far as the type of implant, let the plastic surgeon give you all the pros and cons before making up your mind. I would recommend seeing him with an open mind. Good luck!
Latisse is available by prescription only but many doctors carry the product in their offices. You many find that your plastic surgeon runs promotions that may result in Latisse being less expensive then in a pharmacy. Your plastic surgeon will also be able to discuss the potential risks and give you specifics on what to expect.
