I had BA/BL (Benelli or donut lift only), September 28th, 2017, just over two months ago as of today. Since week two, (once swelling had gone down), I realized I was not happy with my results. (I’m 40 y/o, 5’5”, 121lbs, and BF all five of my kids). I did not achieve enough projection for my silhouette to change significantly or to achieve cleavage. Also, the width of implant was far too wide for the amount of projection gained, (my pre-BA BWD was 10.5cm, implant width is 12cm). As a result, they disappear in clothes, though my shape *is* lovely nude and my husband thinks they are perfection. I appear to be a small B, from most angles, but measure professionally as a 30E do to my side boob and smaller under-bust measurement. Band size matters!!! At my 6 month post op visit in March 2018 I plan to schedule my revision with same PS, hopefully within a year. I will say that my lift came out amazing! My PS did a phenomenal job, so very pleased with results, incisions are hardly noticeable, even to me when I stare at them. Things I wish I did before BA: (1) More research! (2) Provide more wish pics! (3) Have much, much more communication about BWD and implant projection options, moderate plus, high profile, etc.,. (4) Try on sizers with CLOTHES ON not just in bra in the office, and then take pictures with various sizers, even sizers far bigger than I “thought” I would want, so as to be able to go home and compare. Updated on 11 Mar 2018: Finally they feel like part of me and I am so glad I did this but I still want more projection, and wish I had gone with 400 HP, (not 300mod+). Here are a couple pics. One is an unpadded bikini, other is a VS padded push-up bra. Updated on 11 Mar 2018: Pics didn’t post for some reason in last post. Updated on 11 Mar 2018: Updated on 11 Mar 2018: Hopefully this time it works. First pic is me in same bikini pictured before. Bikini is lined but no padding. Second pic is me in a Victoria’s Secret “Very Sexy” padded push-up bra, size 32DD. I have found that front close bras provide the best cleavage. I very much with my push-up bra boobs were my all the time boobs. Oh well...
34 years old. Breastfed 2 children. 5'1" 118 lbs athletic build. Only 1 day post op, so far very high and square looking. I realize they will drop and fluff and change quite a bit. Very relieved I didn't go bigger, they are larger then I thought and Projection Resembles 2 torpedos at the moment, much more than I expected! Being patient isn't easy, but I think I made a great choice. Updated on 23 Oct 2017: Updated on 23 Oct 2017: Updated on 19 Nov 2017: Im pretty happy. Only thing I worry about is the visable scar on my left side. My surgeon says its NOT bottoming out but to return in a few months to reevaluate.
I went to a consultation with Meredith Collins. She takes about four hours to complete a breast reduction. I asked her some questions and got the following answers. Yes she does intubate patients "because an LMA is dangerous when patients are sat up." Yes she does use drains and they stay in for a week. Yes, patients can stay in the hospital if need be. Unlike some surgeons who take pictures of your breasts even before they know if you want to schedule surgery or not, she did not take any pictures. When she got done with me, I was sent into another office with a lady that refused to schedule me. She had this confusing explanation about a waiting list. She said I had to pay $100 to be placed on the waiting list and they have a contract that says they can hold you off if they have other patients who need treatment more urgently than you. They also said Dr Collins is trying to reduce her hours. If I had known that I would have made to wait for a year, I would not have wasted my money to see her.
