I have to say that I found this forum here because I was looking for information to decide if I was going to go through with it or not! Well, I did it! I am on the second day. First I will tell you what it felt like during the procedure. The order was a breeze. They wash your face with acetone, and yes that sounded harsh, but it did not burn at all! Did not even sting. then they apply the solution. That was a breeze too. After that you are ready for the light. This is where it gets a little dicey. Yes, it did feel uncomfortable, but not unbearable. The first 5 minutes were the worse. My face felt very hot like a sunburn, but then it leveled off and the next 12 minutes were not that bad. Just bring your head phones like so one else here suggested and get into your grove. The covered my skin with Vaniply ointment and gave me samples to take home. I am so grateful for this ointment. My face has been itching and feels very warm. It is itchy too. I just keep tapping my face with a wooden flat stick instead of itching it. Keep reapplying the ointment. I am on day two, my skin is super red, itchy and looks awful. Stay out of the sun and even bright light in your house. Just being in the kitchen making breakfast in the natural daylight made my face reactivate a bit and get redder! I'll keep on posting during this process.
