About 3 months ago Dr. Medina Kantürk combined breast lift, tummy tuck and body shaping. My doctor Ms. Medina doesn't just do plastic surgery for her patients, she understands her patients very well and knows what's best for them. If I could give less than one star I would. I had my surgery in the Bursa clinic. I got off a seven hour flight and three hour drive to the clinic. I was rushed straight to a consultation with the doctor, Dr Medine. I was surprised because I thought it was Dr Bulent I was coming to see but its ok. She seemed nice and looked professional. I had a ten to fifteen minute consultation for a rhinoplasty, revision breast augmentation and body shaping, was rushed to make payment and rushed straight to surgery immediately. When I met the anaesthesiologist he said that I'm not a candidate for body shaping because I'm very thin, that I have no fat so is it skin they will use? He laughed so I thought he was joking. I had sent pictures via Whatsapp prior to my arrival in Turkey and was told I can do the surgery. I had just seen a doctor who said it was fine but I should have listened to him. It wasn't a joke, it was a warning. I had the surgery and had a severe migraine. I said this and was ignored. They have their usual pain-killer protocol and that's what they were following never mind the fact that each case is different and I couldn't even eat because of the pain. I had so many surgeries at the same time and a history of migraines. It took 2 days and tears for them to finally give me something that took the migraine away. I actually had to break down and cry. I was discharged and had my follow up visits which went well, everyone was attentive and helpful. I flew back home. After removing bandages and stopped wearing compression garments with Dr Medine's authorization I noticed that I had thick, raised scars on the breast incisions and one breast was much bigger than the other. The fat transfer to my hips had not worked out. I was back to being shaped like a ruler, I now had a roll of fat on my back that was never there and after 4 months I still had very dark discolouration on each hip. I look worse now than when I flew to Turkey. I sent pictures to Doctor Medine. She said dark skin can end up looking like that and for my breasts, it was a revision so the scar tissue is why one breast is bigger. That's all. I asked for more information in terms of guidance for what to do. I expected her to direct me on maybe a kind of cream to remove the dark discolouration not just tell me, yeah that happens. I wanted to be told if I should massage the large breast or the small one or what to expect instead of yeah there was scar tissue like deal with it. She ignored the message. I said kindly respond. She ignored it. I was put in a Whatsapp group with 2 of the staff and told I can always contact them for one year after my surgery. One of them is a man, Omar. I have had to complain to him previously that Dr Medine ignores my messages before. For the second time I made that complaint but now I was forced to send pictures of my body to a man who is not my doctor. Same as when i had to cry these people treated me so badly I was always having to debase myself to get an adequate response from them. Very uncomfortable and embarrassing but when my doctor ignores me I had no choice. I was assured by Omar and the other person, a lady called Ivana that they would get back to me the next day. Around a week later I hadn't heard from them. I sent another message which they ignored. After waiting and waiting I finally left the Whatsapp group that was supposed to be there to support me for 1 year, deleted all numbers and blocked all of them. Its better for me to forget they exist. I can use this website for my aftercare and to answer my questions since my doctor couldn't care less. Going to Estetik was a mistake once they've taken your money they don't care about after care. You're on your own. They're so rude, they read your messages and ignore as if you're a beggar. Professional pride and human decency should dictate that they should communicate to ensure the patient understands the whole process. These people lack both. Its a conveyor belt. I should never have been told I can go ahead with the body reshaping. I'm just too thin but instead of being honest they took my money. I went through the pain, expense and discomfort of wearing and sleeping in compression garments for nothing and now have skin discolouration as well. I came with two breasts that look the same size and now I have one large and one small. As I told them the only people they meet professionally are people who are not happy with how they look. If the person looks even worse four months later and politely raises the issue it should be addressed. Anyway, its not for nothing if even one person learns from my experience. Updated on 24 May 2020: I had a rhinoplasty, revision breast augmentation and bbl 5 months ago with this doctor. I like the rhinoplasty. The breasts and hips are a disaster. 5 months post op my breasts are uneven. None of the fat on my hips was retained. I now have dark patches on both hips. I contacted her as instructed via Instgram DM but she mostly ignores my messages. She prefers to post videos of herself at the gym than to reply a patient. A Whatsapp group with 2 hospital staff (not the doctor) was set up for follow up. I had to tell them she ignores me to get a response once at 3 months post op. The second time a month later, they ignored me too. I sent the attached pictures to the doctor. She told me breasts are supposed to be sisters, not twins and that dark discoloration happens to dark skin. Nothing about a solution or what to expect going forward. I spent hours on Real Self researching and I have seen that my breast issue is called capsular contracture that can possibly be helped if caught early. The dark patches on the hips are not bruises. I read online that they can be permanent. This doctor never mentioned that much less try to suggest what to do next. I was supposed to just live with this mess. Doctors who answer questions here always say people should talk to their PS. Mine doesn't believe in after care so I can't. Those doctors who didn't treat the person answer by the next day. This doctor who treated me was uninterested and when she did bother she was dismissive and unhelpful. After spending thousands of dollars I saved up for with terrible results I now spend hours online getting more confused and upset, not knowing what to do next. I don't recommend this doctor apart from for rhinoplasty but if you have problems after she will ignore you and post her gym videos. Even with the rhinoplasty, during consultation she said she will project my tip. i asked her how. She said that's her business. She didn't tell me. During consultation I also asked her to correct my areola and nipple size. She did the areola which also didn't work and didn't touch the nipple. I asked her why. She said I can always do that later. Why didn't she just do it then since I had asked? For breast and body work I don't recommend her at all. The results are depressing and her attitude makes it worse. I sent "kindly respond" several times and she never did. I don't recommend her hospital either. I was never a good candidate for BBL but they let me waste money. I was in severe pain after having three surgeries and was ignored. It wasn't until I started crying that they gave me proper medication. The Whatsapp group for follow up is useless. They don't care.
