I had a lower facelift which was done right in the office by the doctor, with the aid of an operating assistant and his nurse Rosalyn.. The surgery was done in a very relaxed setting and I felt very comfortable. Recovery time is relatively short and the doctor and his most efficient nurse were extremely concerned with my needs. The doctor even called my every night at home to check up on me and the nursing assistant Rosalyn gave me her cell phone# to call anytime.. I had the procedure done to look younger and refreshed.
Dr. Weiss and Rozalyn were amazing. I am extremely satisfied with the way the surgery came out. I never thought I would get my stomach back. I felt so comfortable in their care and could not have asked for a better outcome. I would definitely go back to Dr. Weiss for any other procedures in the future.
my reason for my tummy tuck and breast lift was more mainly for more insecurities. As much as I worked out, tried many different workouts and managed a healthy diet for some reason I could not get rid of the extra skin below my belly abdominal. I lost everywhere else but that one area. I had my mix emotions about having the surgery only for the fear of such a big scar. But after seeing a family member have the same procedure from Dr Weiss it convinced me more that I had no worries after seeing her scar and how amazing it looks. I am so happy in my surgery that I was proud to tell everyone or anyone about how amazing I feel and look. Highly recommend it to anyone who is having second thoughts. JUST GO FO IT!!! you will feel amazing and look amazing!!!
My stomach was a mess. After being overweight, having 2 pregnancies, and then losing 75 pounds, I could grab onto the loose skin that was in my midsection. It was frustrating because diet and exercise wasn't doing anything more to help. I decided to get a tummy tuck and liposuction and it was the best decision I ever made. No I can wear almost anything without feeling self-conscious.
Dr. Weiss did an excellent job in that my results were definitely noticeable in the pre and post surgery photos but also very natural looking which is what I wanted. One of the reasons I chose him for a facelift was that about a decade earlier I went to him for eyelid surgery after he was recommended by my dermatologist. It turned out beautifully, so I had confidence in him for my current procedures.
A few years ago I attended a plastic surgery seminar and listened to a presentation which included a few patients. I felt they did not look natural and decided my having any surgery on my face was out of the question. It took me a few more years of watching the inevitable aging process cause sagging and jowls before I gained the courage to find out what Lifestyle Lift had to offer. I researched the Doctors and found Dr. Martin Weiss to have a lot of experience and great credentials. I also read his reviews which were remarkable. I brought my husband to Boston and met with Carole Werner who, in detail, explained the procedure, cost and financial plans they offered. To my surprise the cost was far less than in-hospital procedures. I later met with Dr. Weiss and had my procedure a couple weeks later. At my one week post surgery appointment my husband looked across the private waiting room and said (despite some swelling) "your neck looks amazing and face looks so natural, no one would really know you had a lift". Dr Weiss is a truly talented surgeon, gentle and reassuring before, during and after the procedure. I am now 1 month from my surgical date and any visual evidence that I had a procedure has almost disappeared! Throughout this experience I felt I was in safe hands with Dr. Weiss and his staff !
I'm a young 75 year old women with a lot of energy a zest for life and I decided I wanted to look as young as I felt. This was the best decision I ever made for myself and it's only been a week since the procedure and I am elated with the results. Dr. Weiss was wonderful and is an excellent surgeon and has the most wonderful staff.
Seeing all the Lifestyle Lift Ads on TV, and its positive results, plus the recommendations of friends having it done, I decided it was time to have it done. I work in Sales, and needed this younger look in the Business world. I had the Lift and the Fractional Laser treatment to smooth the lines and reduce some aging spots. It was the best thing I could do for myself to combat Gravity, and the Aging Process!
My Motivation was watching myself looking older than I felt and realizing that the only way to correct it was going to be cosmetic surgery not creams serums. Everything turned out just as the Doctor explained, it was painless due to the doctor and staff. It was one of the smartest decision I have made, It reatored my self-confidenced. I recommended it highly
After having kids, and then getting into shape, my large breasts were preventing me from taking fitness to a new level. My surgeon was thoughtful and considerate before, during and after the procedure. I am currently 6 weeks post op and look wonderful..but more importantly...I feel amazing. Best decision I ever made regarding my overall health and fitness
Given the size and shape of your breasts your goals are achievable. The final size and shape of your breasts can be fine tuned by considering at least four options. The options are implant size, implant type (saline vs. silicone gel and round vs. shaped), incisional approach (periareolar, inframammary, or armpit), and placement above or below the muscle. There are advantages and disadvantages to all options. You should arrange a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who will guide you based on your preferences, your examination, and the surgeon's recommendations as to what is technically possible.
To the best of my knowledge and experience, there is no correlation between body weight and the development of capsular contracture. It is true, however, that if you put a large implant in a small breast, it will feel firmer or look and feel less natural than if you put a smaller implant in a larger breast. This is a function of how much tissue is covering the implant and should not be confused with capsular contracture.Instead of gaining weight, consider a second opinion with another board certified plastic surgeon.
Most women elect to have the post-tragal incision to avoid a scar in front of the ear. If this incision is closed without tension after thinning the tissues over the tragus before closure, there should be no distortion or unnatural appearance to the tragus (e.g. thickened or pulled forward). However, women can have a pre-tragal incision if that is their preference and if they are willing to accept a pre-tragal scar. Everyone heals differently and some pre-tragal scars will be better than others.Men frequently elect a pre-tragal incision to avoid distortion of their beard line in front of the ear, especially if they have a heavy beard. However, men can also have a post-tragal incision if that is their preference and hair follicles can be removed, if necessary, from the new pre-tragal skin prior to closure and/or treated post-operatively with electrolysis.Your preference is important and your final decision should be made in thorough consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
There are several things for you to consider:
A panniculectomy will remove the excess skin and fat only from the lower abdomen. It will not remove fat from the upper abdomen unless liposuction is added to the procedure. Also, it will not tighten the upper abdominal skin unless combined with an abdominoplasty. After a significant weight loss the skin may be quite lax and never completely retract. Liposuction alone will remove any fat but does not tighten the skin. An abdominoplasty accomplishes all of the above and can be combined with liposuction of the waist and hips (which some plastic surgeons consider to be part of the abdominoplasty) to provide the best possible contour of the abdomen, hips and waist. If there is some separation of the midline rectus muscles (which frequently occurs following pregnancy), this is also repaired at the time of abdominoplasty further tightening the waistline.Depending on the patient's examination and goals, there are a variety of procedures and combinations possible such as panniculectomy only, lower abdominoplasty with or without liposuction, and full abdominoplasty with or without liposuction. I hope this helps and that you will be seeing a board certified plastic surgeon who can make specific recommendations for you after a full examination and complete consultation.
