I finally had the nerve to get liposuction (multiple areas) and BBL fat transfer. I've been wanting to do this for over 10-15yrs. I had my surgery in early June 2020 and am currently on 4 weeks post op. I'll share more as I heal over the next 3-6 months. Love the results so far. Updated on 29 Jun 2020: Pros: removed unwanted fat in my love handles/flank areas that exercise and diet could not remove!!! Genetics plays a huge role with your shape. 2) Surgery wasn’t as bad as I thought. Felt very safe and my surgeon was double certified in plastic surgery procedures. Granted I had my procedure in the US and not outside the country. Highly recommend you don’t try to skimp on costs and go with safety instead. 3) can’t believe I can see such a huge difference so quick - only been 5 weeks post-op and still have lots of swelling. Chose a very natural BBL look. Didn’t Want crazy looking butt like strippers. Cons: 1) wish I could have combined surgery with tummy tuck but glad I didn’t push it. 2) the soreness on my flanks!!! Yikes. 3) having to urinate in FAJA standing up. Just inconvenience more than anything else. Updated on 9 Jul 2020: Before surgery: Chest - 40” Waist - 37” hips - 40” After surgery at 6 weeks post-op Chest - 39” Waist - 33” Hips - 42” Updated on 20 Jul 2020: So happy I’ve made it 8 weeks post ops and I can start sitting on my butt. lol. Geez. Was a journey but happy with my results this Far. Wish I had more back fat removed but will see how things look in another 6 months. I had stretch marks and cellulite before surgery so don’t really care it’s still there after surgery. Attaching my Before surgery photo and after surgery at 8 weeks post op. Wearing my stage 2 Faja and it’s tight and compressing but every day it does get easier to put it on. Counting down until 6 months and I can stop wearing the Faja 24/7.
I had breast implant surgery many years ago and I am now going back to Dr Jones to have them removed, my breasts lifted & a tummy tuck. I would not use anyone else! I highly recommend Dr Jones and I'm excited to have the new procedure done.
I received Laser LipoSuction from Dr Mark Jones yesterday, January 27th 2017, from Sonobello in Atlanta, Georgia. I got my waistline done, back fat, and my love handles done as well. I workout 2-3 times a week. And I eat pretty balanced meals. I was also at the weight I pretty much wanted to be as well. Just needed some stubborn fat removed! This was the best money I ever spent! I will be back for more in the future (if needed). Dr. Jones was the absolute best! If I ever receive plastic surgery again it will only be from him! Everyone in the office was so friendly as well as the nurses. Dr. Jones took his time. The procedure didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I was given quite a bit of medication before the procedure. Once I was on the table he numbed my back, and then he started to drain the fat. We were talking the whole time. The procedure isn't painful at all. You feel it a little bit, but it wasn't bad at all. I could see the fat draining from my body into a cup! I am not going to lie. After the procedure was done I became a little sick. On the way home I was in and out of my sleep. I threw up a little bit. I think it was, because I was dehydrated and didn't drink enough fluids. They specified that I should drink plenty of fluids the night before and the morning before which I didn't lol. But anyways... after the surgery the nurses helped me into my garment. She placed maxi pads over the incisions, because it helps to soak up the blood. Trust me when I say you will need to buy maxi pads at home, because you will bleed through them. The only thing I don't like is that the maxi pads get really soaked with blood and the fluid draining out of your back (the fluid that he puts in you to numb your back). I would recommend Sonobello, and Dr Mark Jones to anyone in the future! I'm so in love with my results!! And keep in mind I am still swollen. It will take about a full year to see the final result. However, you will see the main results once you're finished with surgery. Also, I am still swollen and still draining fluids. Therefore, I will probably be down another inch or so within the next month or so! Doctor Jones called me when I got home that night to check on me as well! Such a sweet man, and very concerned about his patients! Best money I ever spent, and it is soooooooo worth it!!!! Beyond HAPPY! My birthday is next month so this was my birthday present to myself hehe :)
I am 36 years old, post 2 previous C-Sections. I have light stretch marks, "hangover" from the two previous c-sections. I have been dreaming of a tummy tuck for the past 10 years. My oldest is going on 11 years old. I've watched numerous you tube videos of the procedure. In the last two months I've tried lipo cavitation which is non invasive with very little results. I researched smart lipo, various plastic surgeons, and centers that perform the procedure in the Atlanta area. I decided to go to a free consultation at American Lipo Center and did not like the ambience of the office and felt that even though the plastic surgeon was reputable I wouldn't feel comfortable having my procedure at a place that looked like a "make shift office." I have a friend who had smart lipo done at Sono Bello two weeks ago and I drove her there and waited in the visitor lounge the whole time. It took them about 4 hours from the time they brought her back into preop until the time she was in postop and they called me to let me know that she was ready. The staff was Was very friendly and courteous to me as the visitor and the environment is very nice, clean and they are professional. All of their plastic surgeons are board-certified. I decided to do more research within the past two weeks and decided on a free consultation with Sono bello. I went today for my free consultation and decided to take advantage of my time off from work and put my procedure for this Friday, June 24 with Dr. Mark Jones. I am a little nervous but very excited that I am finally getting a procedure done on my abdomen and waist to reduce the cellulite and tighten my skin. I can only hope that my results meet my expectations. Dr. Jones is double board-certified and his credentials are very impressive. Most important he is a board-certified plastic surgeon. I go for my preop visit on Thursday where I will meet him. My procedure is scheduled for Friday in the early afternoon and I will post post up pictures. And praying all goes well. Updated on 23 Jun 2016: Pre-op visit was yesterday 6/23 with Dr. Jones and I met the PA who will be in the procedure room as well. The PA expressed having smart lipo done On his upper and lower abs and flanks and is very happy with his result. 6/24 Is the day. Wish me luck! Updated on 24 Jun 2016: So today was the big day. I went for my procedure and I forgot exactly how much they extracted in terms of the fat and fluids. But I am very bruised not sore yet, but I am still somewhat numb from the lidocaine and they told me that the nerves will be no feeling for several weeks. I will post post op post up pictures tomorrow when I shower. Updated on 27 Jun 2016: Post Op Day 4. The hardest day was Day 2 but I stopped taking my Percocet and only remained taking Tylenol. Felt like I was bruised all over. Yesterday I felt more swollen and sore. Today the swelling was greater in the morning and the pain is decreasing. Still only taking Tylenol. My heart rate is a little high(96 bpm) but that may be from the cup of coffee this morning and the cup of sweet tea a couple of hours ago. I am still taking the Keflex that was given as prophylactic and I am on day four tomorrow will be will be my last day. I feel that this antibiotic is making me a little nauseous and I feel a little dizzy and lightheaded at times but that could be due to the lack of sleep and also because I just had surgery a couple of days ago. I am otherwise a healthy individual with no chronic medical problems. I've noticed certain areas in my abdomen and sides now are getting a little hard and my compression garment is a size large and I think it is slightly big but I don't have my follow-up appointment yet because I need to see what my work schedule is like but my follow up appointment should be next week. The compression garment is digging into my size at times not less I lifted up and I have a lot of bruising right underneath my abdominal shelf and I don't know if that is from the power assisted lipo or from the laser. I am hoping that this procedure worked and I know it is too early to tell or not and they couldn't promise that my skin would not be sagging, but what I don't understand is that there are some pictures of women that I've seen that their abdomen area was worse off than mine and after the procedures they have very little fat left in the area and their skin was tightened very well. I am not sure if because towards the end of the treatment when he was doing the laser I started feeling hotspots maybe he could not complete what he wanted to do. I just hope that the results meet my expectations because if not after six months I will be very unhappy because of the money that I spent and I really don't want to have to have a revision and pay even more money. Also, I've been feeling a little week since the surgery maybe could because of my age or because of my lack of sleep waking up in the middle of the night. I don't know, but I will keep everyone posted. Updated on 29 Jun 2016: So today is day 5 post op and I've discarded the first CG because it was digging into my sides. I had no choice but to purchase a high ultra firm control brief from Walmart until my post op visit on 7/8. So far, i see very little results and am beginning to wonder if it was worth it. I have a lot of fluid retention that is pooling in my lower belly. It is very uncomfortable. My bruising is getting yellow so it's healing. I can only hope that this was all worth it in the end. I'll post pics later. Updated on 30 Jun 2016: My swelling continues to go down daily but still very prominent. Especially in my lower ab area. My skin looks orange peel effect in my lower abdomen and bruises are turning lighter and skin yellowing in those areas so I guess it's healing. I'd say as the day goes on my swelling gets worse and gravitates toward the lower belly. Will post pics later as I'm laying down in bed. Lol. Still taking Tylenol about 2x a day due to pain about 5/10. Gets better each day though. I am very impatient person and this whole healing process is teaching me a lot of patience. It is hard running after 16th month old and recovering but I am managing..my boyfriend and my oldest daughter have been a great help! Updated on 7 Jul 2016: Today I am post op day 13. Today is the first day that I've noticed that my skin has retracted my swelling is almost gone but I do have some firm, lumpy areas which are normal. I'm taking Tylenol only at night time for comfort so I may sleep on my side or my stomach as one or two lumpy area still have some sensitive nerves that are healing. I do still have some mild bruising in the lower middle of my abdomen. I'm taking my Arnica once a day. And I am waiting for my second compression garment to come in the mail from Sono Bello. I will admit I had stopped wearing my garment for almost 5 days now and was just wearing high waisted briefs with tummy control but haven't worn that in that in two days . As I was reading up different plastic surgeon for offering different advice and one plastic surgeon said that the compression garment he recommends his patients to wear for the first week and if they're still having pain after that but he said that he never saw a difference with it in helping with swelling or results . I do notice a difference. I have not measured my waist but I do notice a visible difference. Now I know that it is worth it and if I do have some lumpy areas after six months I will look into getting Venus legacy or some alter sound treatment. It still hurts if I bend over to try to tie my shoes and stuff because of the hard lumpy areas in the sensitive nerves but otherwise I know that over the next year or is he healing process. I'm just glad that my swelling has gone down and that I am not feeling as much pain as in the first couple of days. Because I was highly regretting my decision and it was hard to deal with my 16-month-old and being there for her in the first week but my man was very supportive and helped out a lot and my older daughter who was 11 helped out a lot. And I had a go back to work four days after my procedure but I was not walking around all day long I was sitting in a classroom setting so that helped. Updated on 18 Jul 2016: Everyday i notice more shrinkage of belly and sides!
Dr jones has excellent bedside manner and is truly an artist. I highly recommend him. He is very patient and fully describes the procedures being done. His follow up care is also superb and his office staff is excellent. Abdominoplasty and breast augmentation performed post bariatric weight loss. The incisions are placed below my bikini line to be easily hidden. The post op pain was well controlled and my follow up care has been fabulous. Choose Dr. Jones you will not be disappointed
I am a single women, who isn't married and I don't have children, but I did lose a small person over the past 2.5years - 80 pounds!!! I have loose skin on my tummy and flat breast. I was large most of my 20's. Now that I am in my 30's, I would like to have my 20 something body back. LOL. I am working to prep my body for the surgery, which is schedule for April 18th - 53 days away. I would like to be less than 140 before I go into surgery. So i have some work to do. Updated on 28 Feb 2014: 48 days left Updated on 18 Mar 2014: I am 30 days out to having my "makeover". LOL so many thoughts are running through my mind. Just trying to stay positive and upbeat. My final payment is due on 3/21 and my pre-op is on 3/24. Right now i am just patiently waiting. So ready for the post -op healing and then the post op body!!! LOL :) Updated on 25 Mar 2014: I had my pre-op yesterday and everything went well. Just ask the doctor a few questions about the procedures and what happens during recovery. Filled out all my RXs and it was $38 bucks for everything!!! I was worried it would be way more $$$. About to place my deposit to rent a recliner and my compression garments are in. I have to wear two at once (due to drain less tummy tuck)! That should be comfortable!! LOL Also surgery is paid in full!!! But the one thing I am noticing is that my mood has been very blah. Like I was super excited about the surgery, but now I am kinda like whatever. As anyone else experience this? Updated on 2 Apr 2014: Not much to report. Feeling better about the surgery. Just need to get a few things from Walmart , rent my recliner, and go shopping. Kinda of calm about going under. I trust my doctor and the lord - so not really worried about anything morbid. Just want to come out of recovery without nausea. Also putting my dog up for a couple of days. Still working out and eating as best as i can. I could do a lot better tho. Any tips or suggestion for me while I wait for my sugery date? Updated on 18 Apr 2014: Surgery is at 7-8am. Should be out around 2 pmFeeling good and in great spirits! I am 43, married with 3 beautiful children. 3 c-sections left me with that horrible stretch marked "pouch" hanging over my c section scar. I was so excited to finally be in a position to do this! I had a couple of hitches in my recovery not related to any of my incisions. A bad post anesthesia sinus infection and horrible pitting edema that required Lasix to resolve. My doctor is phenomenal though, and he really guided me through the whole process from beginning to end. I am almost 1 month postop now and thrilled with both of my procedures. It was major though. Won't lie... My best & love to all my fellow TTers!
So it took me years to figure out that he cut my bridge at like a 45 degree angle. It looked shapeless and highly asymmetrical. He even said once the human brain likes some asymmetry. He said it's like a teepee you cut off the top it gets wider. Except I had a very narrow nose and he went out of his way to flatten the left side. It just looked really wide. So 2nd surgery I asked he narrow it. My bidge still was deformed and my profile awful. He showed me the one picture I got to draw on which was a mistake which I said "not that" and he kept it I asked why he said for his records and then threw it in my face when I was devastated by the result. So most dr.'s would have taken cartilage from the ear to rebuild a bridge which was ridiculous because I said take less rather than more he sold me on alloderm and then put a huge chunk the worst above my nose made it again highly asymmetrical then taunted me until he could tell I was over it and going to another dr. Worst experience of my life. I don't trust any review that claims good bed side manner he seems to hate women and their vanity. I was only 18 the first surgery an easy target. I'm still angered to this day. Which he probably gets of on. It was truly sadistic.
Hello everyone! I am reading your comments and reviews everybday. I have been thinking to get BA . There's one girl who did hers with Dr.Mark Mitchell Johens ,salline implants and when she showed me ,they looked amazing. I made some research about this doctor and he reading about his background and his knowledge,I have decided to go to him for an appointment in Atlanta. If there's anyone, who knows him and who has done boobs ,I really would appreciate your comments and thought about him. Thank you in advance:)
Otoplasty can be done at any age (after 5 years old), as long as you do not have any medical contraindications.
Ideally to prevent swelling you would want to continue to sleep on your back. If you have to sleep on your side, keep the padding in place and alternate sleeping on the sides frequently.
Technically yes, a tummy tuck and a hysterectomy can be preformed together. However, you should be aware that your chances of having complications increase.
To have a Capsular Contracture at 2 weeks would be rare but not impossible. Keep massaging and following up with your surgeon regualrly.
You should also restrain from the lower body resistance exercising because it is very hard to separate the inside body pressures and blood pressures will be tranmitted from one area of the other, similar to a hydralics system. Proabbly best to stick with light range of motion activity.
