I had a breast augmentation three months ago and I cannot express how happy I am!! Dr Diana did an amazing job! Everyone compliments on how natural they look and they are the perfect size. If you want someone who is experienced and knows what they are doing dr Diana is the man!! He has a great bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable!
Dr. Diana is amazing and I am so happy with my outcome. He is really straight forward and easy to talk to. I was thinking about going smaller than I ended up doing but Dr. Diana convinced me that I wouldn't be happy with the small size I chose and recommended I go bigger. Boy was he right! His staff is excellent for the most part, but you have to know who to ask for. The scheduler Sarah was great and very kind and helpful whenever I had questions regarding dates or prices and worked extremely hard to get me in for my surgery right away. Clair, who did my pre-op and consultation with Dr. Diana was very sweet, warm, caring, knowledgeable and thorough with her answers to all my questions, and I had a lot! She really took the time to answer all of them and I left my pre-op feeling like I was in good hands. I did have a problem after surgery though, intense pain to my breasts, when I called and spoke with Gabbey she told me to put ice on it and call back in two days if it didn't get any better. Well it got much worse, so bad that I could hardly move. I called back and asked for Clair who got me in to meet with their other doctor right away. So, like I said you have to know which staff to ask for. Overall very happy with my experience. Updated on 30 Jul 2013: According to the card I got after my surgery I got a moderate plus mentor 325cc saline implant placed under the muscle. Was B cup before surgery and now am a D/DD!! Really loving my results. My husband loves to help me massage them ;) So happy with them, they look great.
Dr Diana was willing to do just lift but I was wanting more volume up higher on chest. No high pressure sales. Gave me realistic expectations. Dr even called evening of procedure to check on me. He was honest about possible scars and gave pros and cons for different techniques and types of implants. Updated on 25 Jun 2013: I'm 12 days post surgery. The incision tape was supposed to stay on another two weeks but started looking really nasty. The nurse I spoke with told me I could take it off and either replace it or apply Desitin to the incision. I told her a few places looked a little red and had a bit of pus (sorry gross!) I replaced the tape but this morning several areas are more swollen and red. I'm waiting to hear back from the nurse. Overall, I'm super pleased with the results. They are perky and very natural. Just concerned now that I don't get an infection. Updated on 25 Jun 2013: Updated on 2 Jul 2013: Apparently the nurse should have had me come in immediately. I have openings in the incisions at the T junction on both breasts. I've seen the other doctor in the practice twice and it is improving. I'm discouraged with the delay in healing and worried it could get worse if I'm not very careful BUT I'm still happy with results. My left nipple looks a little different than rt but I'm not finished healing. Updated on 10 Jul 2013: It's been 4 weeks and I'm still healing. I've spit several stitches and that's caused problems with my incisions. Very frustrating! My P has been on vacation the past two weeks but his partner Dr Hiers has taken very good care of me. Hoping this all resolves soon.
I wouldn't normally share my testimony or my photos but this site really helped me to understand breast reduction and greatly impacted me on my decision making so I want to help others who can relate to my issues as well. So here I am sharing my experience to help any other women considering surgery. After researching & consulting with a handful of doctors, I was blessed with being referred & meeting Dr.Diana, he has an awesome& respectful reputation and I now know why. I highly recommend Dr. Diana he is the best doctor/artist I am ecstatic with the work he serviced on me! Any one looking for a plastic surgeon that communicates, listens & delivers above & beyond results you ask for Dr.Mario Diana is your Doctor/artist. He made me feel very confident & safe, as well as his team reassured me every visit. I breast fed for 3 years & took a toll on my breast which I was fully aware of consequences but wanted the best for my babies. Therefore resulted in sagging breast. But now that is history a huge Thanks to Dr.Diana, He is a Blessed man full of knowledge & compassion. The whole team at New Day is compassionate & cares about all their clients. I am in love with my surgery results! The New Day team is Knowledgable, great expertise, highly rated customer service & above average care for each of their clients health &concerns.
Ready to wear shorts-and looking forward to my bikini body !! Im scheduled for smart lipo & cellulaze April 17th, kinda nervous about how painful this will be. Dr. said I'm not a small girl and I have womanly curves and he wants to keep me that way. Which made me feel better about myself ! But I'm actually 30-35 lbs over my weight limit, lol. I have a big bubble butt and my weight has really gone to my thighs, arms, and flanks since my tummy tuck 7 years ago. I will be going back to have my arms done. Dr. said the numbing meds would not last long enough so it would require a second visit ! So, Dr. wants to smart lipo my tummy-(gained a roll above my tummy tuck incision) and give me more defined waist and smart lipo flanks. He's going to smart lipo my outter thighs keeping with the curvature of my body and get rid of inner thighs where they rub together :( He won't lipo my banana fold because he said my butt would fall, so he going to cellulaze it just to smooth it out. I really want cellulaze to the fronts of my thighs because all I see when I look down is cottage cheese !!! Dr. said he does not see what I see??!!! I will post pics before and after !! Pleas comment as to how your procedure went please !! Updated on 6 Apr 2013: 2 days ago I had my pre op appt. Glad I did !! They didn't have me down For the correct areas !! Long story short I deleted the cellulaze to make sure that I got the smart lipo to inner outer thighs and abdominal area and flanks ! Ended up pay $700 more :( they gave me my scripts took pics and surgery instructions. Getting nervous 10 day countdown ! Updated on 12 Apr 2013: Not real happy with Dr staff right now they dropped the ball quite a few times now! Supposed to find out when I'm scheduled for Wednesday and haven't heard a word and I'm coming In From out of town :( Nervous very Nervous right now ! Updated on 17 Apr 2013: Had my procedure this am. I was there from 9:45-2:00. Had inner and outer thighs, flanks and whole abdominal . I went into the Dr. Office they brought me back, checked vitals, gave me 1 Valium . I waited for what seemed to be 1-1/2 hrs.Once they came and got me everything went pretty quick. They gave me small shots to where the incisions were to be made. They then put in the numbing fluid- that part is pretty uncomfortable especially in some areas that are more sensitive than others. After he numbed my he did the laser everywhere then came back and did the lipo everywhere ! So it's like a 3 step process !! When I was done I felt like normal just swollen. 1.8 liters were removed and I can already see that I'm smaller but u can see I'm still full of fluids !! I'm resting now and starting to have some achey pain in my areas. So I took one pain pill. I'm trying to keep dry by changing my maxi pads I have put on my incisions of the outside of my garment that I'm holding in place by yoga pants ;) I will post more pics tomorrow when Im allowed to remove my garment !! But so far the surgery was not that bad !! Updated on 18 Apr 2013: 1 day out. Woke up pretty sore today ! Sleeping last night was a little rough because it took a minute to get comfy on my side ! When I stand it takes a few minutes to get going like if I'd had a TT. Still leaking but not as much ! Heading to post op this am then going to take a shower I'm really looking forward to it because of the leakage all over me : / Updated on 23 May 2013: I saw Dr. yesterday. Im still swollen and bruised and tender is some areas, nothing too bad. Not real excited with my results so far, not much difference at ALL !! Getting discouraged. But Dr. did say still swollen so we will see I've been crazy busy with graduations but I will post pics !! Glad to hear everyone is doing well !! Oh forgot to mention scar tissue is forming around my hip bones I massage every morning and night and I've all been doing Endomology !!
Extremely Amazed - San Antonio, TX
Okay this is the third time I try to do this for my cell phone. Because it is the only place I have my pictures. Which I cannot upload. I am a 38 year old woman I have 4 beautiful children that I adore and I have been very busy taking care of them and now it's time for me. I did my research on the internet I chose 5 doctors, and then narrow it down to 1 and decided with doctor Mario Diana. I went to the consultation and we booked a date right away. I am a little concerned though doctor diana said that by the second day I should be walking straight does that sound realistic? I hope someone can answer me. If anyone has any advice for me please share I am very weary about this surgery I'm just nervous and to top it off we just found out we're movin 24 days after my surgery. If anyone has any advice for me about that I would appreciate it. I really don't have much more to say, except that I am very excited and looking forward to this surgery. I am looking forward to wearing a 2 piece bathing suit this summer and finally feeling good about myself again. Now I do workout twice a day in the morning and in the evening I do Zumba and I do CrossFit. Just like everyone else has stated they just can get rid of that stubborn belly fat so that's why I decided on a tummy tuck. I look forward to hearing from everyone and seem like you'll have to say. I am just looking forward to the surgery but I need to know what all I have to get done before then So any advice again is welcome thanks everyone for reading my post and I hope to get the pictures up somehow and I hope to hear from you thanks again byeUpdated on 22 Feb 2013:Hello all. The staff were very friendly and comforting. I woke up with minimal pain. When i got.to the hotel i was in some pain, though tolerable, but uncomfortable. After the first 30 min NOTHING hurt. I felt great! After all was said amd done the only complaint i have are my breasts! My tt never hurt! It has been the breasts. The.pain is as bad as , if anyone here has ever breastfed and you get engoerged, thats the.worst of it. I have beeomy own and overall feeling good. Just get wimded amd a little tired faster, but thats it! I .am so suprised at how great i feel!! Well thats it for now. Tuesday i have my 2nd visit with my.Dr, the drains might come out, mot sure. The draims have NOT been as bad as every one has made them oit to be. So dont be afraid ladies! This has been a pretty easy, speedy healing, thank.God.
I really lost a substantial amount of breast tissue from breast feeding. Before pregnancy i was a 32 c and afterward i was a saggy a and had hanging nipples. This problem affected my self esteem badly, as it was difficult to find clothing that fit properly... The armpits sagged, showing the breasts, and the neckline hung, also revealing my breasts... I am a very thin gal so size extra small clothing still wasnt cutting it! Dr. Diana examined me and although he at times seemed rushed or short, (sorry dr. Diana!) He was very attentive and precise. I told him the look I was hoping for, and showed him pictures, and let him do the mathematics on which profile and how many cc's I needed to achieve that look. I had the procedure on tye 18th of october, and it has only been 2 months now. My breasts look lovely and natural. I am now a 32dd, but they really look modest yet feminine, as I was hoping. No more gapping in the armpits/necklines of my shirts, and they look nice bare, too. He did a very lovely job.
I took the plunge ladies and feel pretty good. Legs are quite puffy and bruised at the moment. Asked Dr. Diana (he's a certified instructor for this procedure for all the Texas docs. My first appointment with him was a flop, as my heart rate increased so much that even after being in the operating room, I was sent home. So, it was general anesthesia for me. I also had SmartLipo on the back of thighs and hips. He smoothed out old lumps from my upper arms too, where I'd had bad Liposuction refusing to wear sleeveless blouses. One day post op and I feel amazing. I thought I wouldn't feel this great. It's a piece of cake after the tummy tuck and knee surgery early this year. (Had knees cut and tissue removed, hoping it'd make them smaller and less dimply--didn't have a clue about the cellulose treatment or I'd have waited on it. Long story short he cellulazed the front of my legs only. Cost was 6K for all procedures. I'm fairly content with it Ladies. Took a couple pics while sitting down this morn from my laptop so here they are one day after. I didn't have horrific cellulite -- Dr. Diana said I'd have a good outcome and as of now I do indeed, but remember I'm full of fluid so we'll see after the swelling goes away. I'm 50. If you'd like to write me directly for questions on this procedure you are welcome to. Renee dot Robyn at Me.com. He also went thru the incisions that were already on my knees and incision on my butt to do all procedures so I don't have new incision lines but they're tiny anyway -- so I'm pleased about that. So far, I'm saying its worth it! Hoping to do the back side next year. Bless you all, Reja
I am a 28 mother of two who had my first child when I was 16. As a teenager my breast were very small but perky but that went out of the window with the birth of my daughter. During my pregnancies I my breasts grew to a 34D but then shrunk back to an A cup shortly after I stopped breastfeeding. I am so ready to bring my boobs to life. I feel like a cow with the [RS bleep] I have...they are small and just hanging there doing nothing for me lol. I've been looking into getting BA for a very long time now and I finally have a consultation scheduled for Sept 12, 2012. I want something that looks natural, no bigger than a C cup since I have a very small frame. I'm 5'5 and weigh 120lbs. I would like to know what should I expect at the consultation and I also wonder if the doctor is going to recommend a breast lift....which is something that I really do not want due to the scar across my breast that I will have. I'm very anxious and excited at the same time. I just want to have beautiful breast for once in my life. Updated on 12 Sep 2012: So my consultation is scheduled for day. I'm sort of nervous but also excited at the same time. I'm eager to hear the doctor's recommendations. I'll keep you guys posted Updated on 24 Sep 2012: I just scheduled my BA! I found a highly recommended Dr. in San Antonio that's going to perform my surgery. I am so excited and a bit anxious to get it over with. I tried on different sizes and decided to go with a full C cup. (325-350 cc's) I'm also going with silicone since I am so small. I was given so much paper work to read over that it almost made my head spin. I am just eager to see my results! Updated on 27 Sep 2012: Okay so I've had 3 consultations and I've decided to go with Dr. D in San Antonio. The first surgeon I had a consultation with back on Sept 12 was very nice and informative. I loved his office set up but wait time was a bit lengthy. I was on my lunch break so I had a limited time I could be in his office. First I spoke with one of his nurses who asked me a series of questions about my health and if I had any habits. She also let me feel the difference between the silicone and saline implants. I loved the silicone. She offered me something to drink and then she said the doctor would be in shortly. I waited for about 20 minutes before I got up to leave. The receptionist caught me before I could go and asked me how was my consultation. I informed her that I hadn't even seen the doctor yet and that I had to be back at work. She asked me to hold on for a quick second while she went to inform the doctor. So I took a seat back in the waiting room I was previous in. Moments later the doctor arrived and explained everything to me. He suggested that I go with silicone due to my having thin breast tissue. I was already sold on the silicone. He also said that he didn't do the usual trying on different implant sizes because that can be misleading and your results will be different. He said all I would have to do is find pictures of breasts that I desired. He said I could get them from his website or from any pictures I see online. Then he would know what I'm looking for and due the surgery with just that. I was like wow! He's got to be confident. He then had his nurse take my measurements and asked if I had any additional questions. I didn't have any, he had answered everything. I could tell he was a great surgeon. I would have went with this doctor but the quote he gave changed my mind. LOL. He charged $6700 for silicone implants which was over my budget. I had to keep looking. Fast forward a couple of weeks later to Sept 24. I had a consultation in San Antonio and one later in the day here in Austin. The ladies that worked in the San Antonio office were very pleasant. I didn't wait long at all and the doctor was just as knowledgeable as the first. He informed me that I didn't need a breast lift and silicone implants would be best for me. I'm really getting sold on the silicone at this point. Then I tried on different implants in the office with his nurse and surprisingly I liked how the bigger ones felt. I had planned to go to a full B cup or small C but now I think I want a full C. It just felt better. After trying on implants and getting my measurements taken I met with his patient coordinator and got my quote. $4050 for saline and $4800 for silicone!!! WOW WOW WOW! That's pretty damn good here in Texas. Gosh I love San Antonio for that! Everything in Austin is extra expensive for no reason. I guess cause we're the capital city. Any who, once I received that quote I knew I would be getting my BA done there. Not only was the price right but he is a highly reputable doctor. There really wasn't any need for me to go to my last consultation since I had put a down payment on my procedure in SA but I went to the last consultation anyway because they had a $50 appointment cancellation fee that I was not about give them. So I went to my last consult and the lady doctor pretty much told me the same thing. Her office was really nice as well but her price quote was not. $6100. I was like I'm good. So now I have my BA scheduled for Nov 20, 2012 and I couldn't be happier. The waiting is going to kill me though. I picked that date because I will be off of work for a few days for the Thanksgiving holiday. I could have scheduled in December as well but I want to get it done asap. I'm now debating whether to get saline or silicone after reading about the pros and cons of each type of implant. I'm still leaning more towards silicone though...the benefits seem to outweigh the cons for me. Welp that's all for now. I'll be back for another update if anything interesting happens. :-) Updated on 1 Oct 2012: The suspense is killing me! I'm really considering rescheduling my BA and bumping it up to an earlier date. It's going to drive me nuts waiting until November lol. Guess I need a little dose of patience...something that I've never had. Updated on 1 Oct 2012: Has anyone else had to get lab work (blood work) and a mammogram done before their BA? Updated on 31 Oct 2012: So my BA had to get rescheduled for next month due to a family emergency. I'm still excited to get it done but I'll be glad when the wait is over. Updated on 22 Dec 2012: So my surgery is in less than a week and I'm very anxious. I've gotten all of my prescriptions filled and I'm just ready to have this done already. My boyfriend has been very supportive of the whole procedure. The only thing I'm having problems with is not being able to smoke. I don't smoke cigarettes but I am a pot smoker. 4/20 friendly! :-) So that part is killing me, sort of. I am on vacation from work for the next two weeks so that should give me plenty of recovery time before I return to work. I'm so excited and happy that I'm doing this and the fact that my family supports it makes it even better! I just hope everything goes right and I'm praying for superb results. I'll be back to update once I've brought my new girls home. :-) Updated on 28 Dec 2012: I just had my BA on Thursday, Dec 27, 2012. I pretty much slept the whole day after I got home from the doctor's office. Today I went in for my post op and Dr. Diana said everything looks fine. My body is adjusting to the procedure very well and I couldn't be happier with my results. I'm not really in any pain unless I strain to pick up something or move my body when I'm sleeping. Other than that I just feel a lot of tightness in my chest. I'll be glad when it all subsides. I really want to celebrate New Years Eve but I'm hope I'm feeling a lot better to get outdoors and celebrate somehow. No night clubs LOL! I've posted a few Post Op pics to let you all see my results thus far. Enjoy! :-) Updated on 30 Dec 2012: Day 4 post op: I'm still experiencing a bunch of tightness in my chest but there is no pain. Only minor itching. So far so good and I think my boobs are looking better each day. I'm so happy with my results. Couldn't ask for anything better! Updated on 8 Jan 2013: It's almost been two weeks and I've got to say I'm loving the new me. I haven't gone bra shopping yet but I will pretty soon. I'm still wearing the surgical bra every day and I've been instructed by my doctor to perform massages on my breast. The implants are still pretty high and the tightness has not gone away but its bearable. Overall pain was not a factor for me. I only took one pain pill and a valium on my first day post op. I haven't touched another pain pill since. Guess I have a high tolerance. Ok so for those who would like to know I received 380 cc's in each breast and I have moderate plus silicone gel implants. I couldn't be happier with my results! I have my one month post op appointment on Jan 29 so there will be more updates to come. Updated on 12 Jan 2013: I'm beginning to think I've become obsessed with my boobs. I can't stop talking about them to my boyfriend and my daughter which is probably driving them nuts! I mean, I can't help it. My breasts are the first things I see when I wake up in the morning and I still have a lot more dropping and fluffing to do so I can feel the changes every day. I decided to make another update because I didn't want to bring up my boobs again today to my family (for about the 100th time! LOL!) I'm so glad I've found this website and I can share my thoughts with other women who are just as obsessed with boobs as me! :-) I'm 16 days post op now and all I can say is they are looking better each day. Updated on 18 Jan 2013: Girls are looking great and I am experiencing no pain at all. Will be posting 3 weeks post op pics later tonight. My friends have been asking if the surgery was worth it. I tell them it DEFINITELY was! Updated on 20 Jan 2013: Ok I managed to get some pics posted today. My surgical bandages/tape started coming off yesterday so I just removed them. I think they were supposed to last a month and my PS was going to remove them at my 1 month post op appointment on the 29th. Looks sort of gross but I hope there's minimum scaring in the end and it heals really soon. I tried on a dress that I haven't worn yet and I must say I love the way I look in it. I am experiencing no pain at all and there's not much of anything else to say besides the obvious...I'm loving them! Updated on 23 Feb 2013: I'm almost 2 months post op now and feeling lovely. My breasts are so soft and I love the size. For a moment I wished I would have gone bigger but I'm very satisfied with the outcome. My incision scar is also healing very well. Updated on 27 Dec 2013: Sorry I haven't made an update in so lomg but ive just gotten so caught up with everyday life. I'm still loving my girls and I'm so happy that I made the decision to do something nice for myself. My breasts have dropped and fluffed beautifully but there is just a tad bit of asymmetry which is not too noticeable. My boyfriend just loves them which is a plus. I'll try to keep updating you all with my progress but so far still going good. Updated on 5 Jan 2014: Just a couple of more pics
Smart Lipo treatment at our Center in Plano is quoted on the basis of the number of surgical areas treated, so it will vary from patient to patient. In general, to the date of this answer, our charges are $1249 per area treated, which for the abdomen means two, for the outer thighs also two areas.Patients who are overweight are not candidates for this treatment as Smart Lipo is more about shape than weight loss.
Thank you for your question. It is possible to dramatically reduce breast size even in very large breasts, and a lift is part of the procedure. In your case most likely a free nipple graft procedure would be used, which would give complete control over breast shape and size. Best wishes for a successful outcome!
Thank you for submitting your question! The images show breasts that are sagging and widely spaced apart, which is likely why you are not so happy with their appearance. I would recommend defining what you would like to look like, and select a surgeon that is experienced in creating your preferred outcome with patients that have your anatomy. Defining your desired outcome is just as important as selecting the surgeon, the specific procedure used is somewhat secondary. I would recommend a peri-areolar lift with implants for increased shape and fullness. Best wishes for a successful outcome!
Very hard or impossible to make an adequate assessment only 7 days after the procedure. Best to wait six to twelve weeks and re evaluate. Best wishes for a positive outcome!
Breast implants make your breast larger, not higher. And larger usually means heavier and lower. If your breast looks like the images shown, making it larger will make it also lower and sag more. A skillfully performed limited incision breast lift with an implant can lift the breast, increase fullness in the upper pole, and prevent sagging later. Best wishes for a positive outcome!
