I am a 28 year old mom of 3, breastfed all of them, and am very active (5’9” and 140 lbs).
Let me just say, I absolutely HATE researching so this site was a huge help and made the process so much easier!
Dr. Salzman was the second doctor I had a consultation with. From the office to the staff, I was all around impressed! They were so welcoming and very professional. I cannot say enough great things about the patient coordinator, Blair! She has been extremely helpful answering all of my questions.
I had my consultation with Dr. Salzman on March 21. He is very confident and so intelligent. He is clearly an expert. I was a little overwhelmed as I tried to soak in all the information he was giving me. That’s where Blair, the patient coordinator, really helped! I originally decided to just get a size 305cc Sientra implant since Dr. Salzman felt like I was borderline needing a lift and left the decision up to me. After I got home and thought about it more, I decided to get a breast lift with a 285cc Sientra implant. The 3D imaging they provided helped make my decision easy! I want my boobs to be full but also want them to be perky again.
I scheduled my surgery for April 26! I am so excited and ready to feel and look like my pre-baby “self” again.
Updated on 23 Apr 2019:
My boobs have seen just about every size from pre-baby (34D), pregnancy (34DDD/E), breastfeeding, and the post-breastfeeding deflation (34B).

My surgery went so great yesterday! The doctor said I didn’t need as much of a lift as we originally thought so he did more of a lollipop lift with a smaller incision for the implant.
The nurse, Melissa, took great care of me and made sure I understood everything that was happening. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Clark, was very kind and a calming person to have in the OR. I told him I had past experiences of throwing up post surgery so he told me he’d do his best to prevent that. I did end up throwing up when I woke up and he personally apologized (which I didn’t care because it actually made me feel better!). I just thought that was sweet of him to care so much.
I had the hardest time waking up yesterday from surgery but I appreciated that great nap :) I felt a ton of pressure on my chest, not so much pain, just a lot of pressure. When we got home, i propped myself up with pillows in bed and slept great! Leaning back was the most comfortable position for me and I could hardly feel the pressure.
This morning, I’m still feeling pressure and am extremely sore. Again, not really pain so that’s nice! I tried to do minimal activity but could tell when I was doing too much so would take a break. I’ve stayed on top of pain medicine and muscle relaxers and that’s helped.
Took a shower and it was better than expected. The water didn’t hurt like I thought it would. It was also the first time I saw the girls. Very high and hard, but so far I’m loving the size!

Today marked one year since I’ve had my breast lift and augmentation done. I absolutely LOVE my results! They are exactly what I was hoping for. It’s been so fun to wear new swimsuit tops and bras that have no underwire!! I haven’t worn underwire in a whole year :)
My recovery was ideal with no complications. I still have pretty visible scarring, which I’ve been told will take some time to fade. It did take a few months to regain complete feeling in my right nipple and I am still slowly regaining feeling in my left nipple. Again, fairly common.
I had 2 follow-up appointments with Dr. Salzman that went extremely well: one 2 weeks post and the second 2 months post. After the second follow-up, I was cleared to do anything (run, play sports, lift heavy things). We also took my “after” pictures at that appointment which was fun to see the side by side with my “before” picture.
Looking back on my experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Salzman for a breast augmentation and lift! He will work with you to get your desired results! I had such a positive experience all around and could not be more pleased with my results!!
