Last December 2022, Dr. Lisa Hwang recently did my upper eyelid and lower eye bags removal surgeries. I would highly recommend Dr. Hwang because she is a consummate professional and did a top-notch job on my surgery. I had interviewed 3 male plastic surgeons before I chose Dr. Hwang. She is responsive and thoroughly explained what to expect before, during and after my procedure. Everything went smoothly and there were no complications. It has been 3 months post-op and I have received many compliments from family and friends. The best part of this surgery is that when people see me, they tell me that I look more refreshed and youthful.
My experience with Dr.Hwang were excellent. I’m glad she was my doctor. She knew exactly how to shape my body. I couldn’t be any more happier with my results. She gave me her personal number if I had any questions after surgery or any concerns and she answered right away.
Hello lillies07, Some wrinkles and "sag" may become visible as the Botox wears off, and your facial muscles regain their ability to animate. Depending on the injection sites, minor changes in brow and eyelid position can occur, as well as lip position and smile. The resulting changes are not caused by the long term usage of Botox; rather, it is a reflection of natural aging that has occurred over time. The use of Botox over the past 6 years has only temporarily MASKED the changes that have occurred. Hope that helps!
Hello VAMom, Usually, treatment with Botox does not result in significant swelling or pain. If it is localized to one specific site and not all of them, I would look out for either a small bruise (as there are numerous tiny vessels in the area) or redness of the skin, indicating a developing infection. Bruising will self-resolve over the course of the next couple weeks, but an infection might require oral antibiotics. If it continues to get worse, I encourage you to get the area reevaluated. Hope this helps!
