I had a wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. I appreciate Dr. Corrente taking time to go over the diagnosis of hyperhidrosis clearly and treatment options I had available to me. Dr. Corrente was able to provide me with a solution of Botox in May 2021, and it quickly solved my problem. I had a great experience and highly recommend Dr. Corrente.
Turning 60 I had thought about getting Botox but was nervous about how it would change my face. Dr. Corrente assured me it would look natural, and she was right! Dr. Corrente carefully evaluated where the Botox was needed and applied it so that my face looks rejuvenated and back to life. I will certainly go back when needed!
As I hit my 40s, I began to feel a bit bothered by my so-called fat neck and double chin. I’ve often wished it was gone, but I never considered a surgical fix. My consultation with Dr. Corrente was positive. I appreciated her enthusiasm to help me. She also eased my fears about being stuck in the neck with needles. Approximately, 30 minutes prior to the injections she numbed my neck with a cream. Her office felt like an upscale boutique and less like a medical environment. The nurses (Katherine, Valentina and Lisa) were very friendly and knowledgeable. In all, I had about 30 injections of Kybella on my first treatment. Though there were many, the shots themselves only took maybe five minutes or so. I felt each needle go in, but it wasn’t unbearable. I did experience numbness and a little pain at the onset, but my side effects were tolerable. I haven’t fully seen my results yet, I need another treatment but I have noticed the fat has melted and my chin is getting smaller. yay!!!!!
I have been going to Dr. Corrente for several years now and can honestly say she is one of the best in the industry. I’ve never met a doctor who cares so much about making sure her clients are 100percent satisfied. She knows the exact amount needed In the precise location that would give your face the best look that keeps you looking young while maintaining a natural look. The best part about the procedure is that it’s virtually pain free with no bruising so I’m able to go right back to work. Can’t recommend Dr. Corrente enough and will be a client for life!

Dr Corrente is really wonderful . I have been having Botox and filler for many years but was never completely happy with the outcome until I started seeing Lisa . She really studies each feature and takes Into account your own face . I am finally completely happy with my results since I started seeing her .
Dr. Corrente is phenomenal. She’s an artist who is a physician, both knowledgeable and highly skilled. I recently visited Dr. Corrente for the second time. After having Botox treatment performed by countless providers over the last decade, Dr. Corrente is the best. She takes the time to discuss what you are looking to accomplish, your options, and expected results. Because she does not rush, you feel comfortable and relaxed. Just like after my last appointment, my face does not look fake and frozen. Instead, people tell me that I appear well-rested and that my skin looks healthy. If you want to look your best, then go visit Dr. Corrente. I will not be letting anyone else touch my face except Dr. Corrente.

I am a young person but I do my Botox 2 a year as a prevention. My last doctor didn’t listen me and didn’t put enough to make me feel plumped. I went to dr Lisa as my friend recommend her to me! I love her office and her staff and the most her great gentle hand. She did exactly what I wanted!! I will be coming back for more treatments as she offer a lot!

When we smile we use a few different facial muscles. The main muscle is the orbicularis oculi, it is located around the eye socket. It is a sphincter muscle whose main function of the is to close the eyelids which occurs when the muscle contracts. Every time you smile or squint you contract this muscle causing the skin to crease. The repetitive facial expressions we make eventually cause fine lines to become etched in the skin, eventually those lines will be wrinkles. Relaxing this muscle with Botox will prevent these lines from forming, which is why we say that Botox is preventative. Typically 8-12 units are used per eye. Once the Botox takes full effect in 14 days, you will still be able to smile, but won’t see the wrinkles. Lastly, the wrinkles that form below the eye on your cheek when you smile, those are caused by a completely different muscle, the zygomaticus minor. This is a muscle of facial expression. It originates from the zygomatic bone (cheek bone), It is used in smiling. If you treated these lines you would effect your smiling muscle, which would cause a dimple in place of the lines and not look natural. That is an area better treated with collagen stimulating treatments like lasers or radiofrequency that reinforce the skin.
Anytime you get sick, whether it be Covid or the Flu, your immune system can react to dermal fillers in the face, as they are foreign to the body. This would cause the area to swell and be tender, the filler will feel hard and palpable. It is described in the literature as a late onset inflammatory immunological response. While late onset filler reactions are rare, they do happen. In this case I typically recommend a dose of oral steroids and follow up in a week. If that does not reduce the inflammation, I would recommend dissolving and residual bumps of the filler. Using hyaluronidase to dissolve filler does not affect your natural tissue, tear troughs and cheeks are common areas to dissolve without any issue.
An accentuated cupid's bow is considered by most a sign of youth and beauty. I believe that your area of concern is the philtrum or so-called cupid's bow corresponding to your cupid's bow piercing. It would be helpful to see a picture of the lip/philtrum before your cupid's bow piercing. It is highly likely that the piercing caused inflammation and subsequent thickening of the philtrum. I would first consider removing the piercing. Botox can also be used the relax the muscles around the lips, but must be carefully and subtly administered. Best of luck!
Botox focuses on the prevention of wrinkles by acting on the muscles that cause repetitive expressions leading to their development. It can also be used to slim the masseter muscles in your face which will help you achieve a more slender, oval and less rectangular face. Ultherapy can be used to further contour the jawline. I wish you the best of luck!
I am sorry that this has happened to you. Sometimes we correct one area of the face and an adjacent area becomes overactive with subsequent new wrinkle development. This happens more frequently with neuromodulators such as Botox than with filler. I would recommend Botox first, but you may benefit from Volbella, as well. Best wishes!
