I was referred to her from my family doctor for a deviated septum. She said she'd be able to fix cosmetic issues as well covered by my insurance. Fast forward after my surgery.. my septum is now S-shaped and I can barley breathe out of my nose. Along with many cosmetic issues such as cartilage being left in my nostril when it's suppose to be inside my nose. I now have to find another surgeon to fix my nose and shell out thousands of dollars. Worst of all she had no sympathy for my concerns and offered to only put the cartridge back into my nose. However, without the option of being put under. I asked to pay extra for it and I was told no. I wasn't getting a nose job while being awake!! I don't think I wouldn't me trusted her to fix it anyways. Overall I'm very disappointed in my experience with Dr. Eisler.
Dr. Eisler is extremely rude, coming across as cold and uncaring. My experience with her, as well as online reviews, matched my impressions entirely. I didn't proceed with any procedures due to her demeanor and lack of empathy, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable
It is very common to have significant swelling especially in the tip for the first 3 month following rhinoplasty. Swelling typically collects in the tip because this is the most dependent portion of the nose. It can take 6 months, even a full year before you know the final result of what the tip of the nose will look like following surgery.
It is very normal to have issues with your breathing for the first year after rhinoplasty. The two 'glands' that I believe you are seeing are your turbinates. They live on the side of the nose and are meant to moisten and filter the air your breath. They are supposed to be there but can become inflamed if you have issues with allergies. I typically recommend that people using saline nasal irrigations to decrease dried mucus following nasal surgery, hopefully this cuts down the amount that you have to clean it.
