Microneedling Made my Skin Look Worse

First off, let me say that this procedure was the most painful procedure I've ever had done. I'm not sure if they just didn't use enough numbing cream on the first 2 treatments, but by the 3rd treatment I took matters into my own hands and applied the numbing cream myself. After reading online how it should be done, I applied the first layer generously and let sit for 30 minutes, wiped it off and applied another generous layer and let that sit for 45 minutes. I also took a Xanax to help me relax. If only I had this information on the first visit, I would not have had to endure the (almost) unbearable pain I felt. After my first treatment I was quite red and swollen for a few days and was actually pleased with the results. I should have stopped there. The next two treatments didn't seem to make any positive difference in my skin. The only thing it did do was give me little bumps underneath my skin which makes it look even more wrinkly and old. My neck looks horrible. I have track marks that won't go away and I'm not sure what to do about it, if there is anything I can do at all. After spending that amount of money to only look worse, I would not recommend this treatment to my worst enemy.
