Let me take a moment of your time to let you know how fabulous my brow and neck lift went, with the extremely skilled, Dr. Larry Lefkoff! I was truly afraid of having the facelift but no longer would look at myself in a mirror. Every step of the way Dr.Lefkoff and Mona, his assistant, were available..before, even on Sundays, and after the surgery if I had any questions or concerns, I would immediately hear from them. Looking like I did 15 years ago..no turkey neck and my eyes look open and bright, I am smiling as I look in a mirror! You will not find a more caring, professional or better team than Dr. Lefkoff and Mona... btw did you know Dr. Lefkoff, ONLY DOES FACES!! One last thing I spent the night after surgery, in the recovery room, and the nurses were wonderful.
Fantastic experience from beginning to end. He did a great job my face, neck and eye lift. There are no visible scars, and I look very natural. I look well-rested and younger. He really listened to my needs and was very patient. I have since referred two friends to him. They both had the same wonderful experience. I highly recommend him.
I had my facelift 2 years ago.I generally don't do reviews but felt I have to due to the many complements I've had about my looks and how young I look over the past 2 years.people think I'm 47.my neck was really bad before the surgery.dr lefkof does excellent work and is a very caring, attentive dr. Would highly recommend him.a couple friends have had procedures with him with great results.I wouldn't have any other dr work on my face.thanks dr lefkof for my great look!
I had my rhinoplasty performed by dr lefkoff in Atlanta. He came highly recommended by one of my celebrity clients that wishes to remain 100% anonymous. He had no pictures of his work on black women do I went to him just based on her review and results. I'm faithful he delivered- we will see! Excited Updated on 16 Nov 2013: Feeling and looking better. Nose congestion sucks! 2 days till cast is off. People stare at me everywhere I go! Lol Updated on 17 Nov 2013: So I'm going to make me happy! I've gotten a lot of bad free back- people saying I shouldn't have changed my face. People wondering if I did Bc I felt ugly- or if Bc people make fun of my looks. None of the above! When i was younger I was made fun of- I assume no more than the rest of us- its just something I always wanted to do! But I didn't do it until I had the $$$ and found the right doc! I'm happy about it. I think lol. We will c when the cast comes off... Updated on 17 Nov 2013: I feel cute but nose not proportionate. Feeling good about my decision Updated on 18 Nov 2013: Very weird looking still but progress. I look forward to seeing my new look as my nose and facial swelling go down. My teeth hurt too. Yikes ! Updated on 18 Nov 2013: Forgot the pics Updated on 18 Nov 2013: Day 8 Updated on 21 Nov 2013: It is so hard getting used to my new face- I feel like I look like an alien but I am feeling cuter each day hehe. I am still glad I did it! Updated on 21 Nov 2013: Loaded same pic twice Updated on 23 Nov 2013: Getting used to it! No one can tell I've had it done. They just say u look soooo young! Like a baby hehe Updated on 26 Nov 2013: It seems a little more swollen because my baby has been hitting it by mistake here and there... Going to doc today to see if its still ok... Contemplating wearing a brace again yikes! These ones I posted with no makeup so u can see how your black eyes will look a couple weeks post Updated on 26 Nov 2013: Also my right nostril is much smaller than the left. Hoping when swelling goes down the they are nearly symmetrical. Although he did tell me perfect symmetry is impossible. It will probably be fine because initially, the left side was so much bigger my nose looked crooked! When u have this surgery be sure to have good people around you to tell u that u r beautiful as u go through these changes. And be sure not to have any appearances planned for months as ur nose changes daily as u heal. Remember to expect improvement- not perfection! Also no computer imaging or dialogue can tell u what u will look like afterwards.... It's like shooting in the dark lol!!!!! Just choose a great surgeon who's work u have seen and liked so u can trust their expertise to give u a nose that is in harmony with your face For instance- I'm a hairstylist- people have to trust me to turn their ideas into a style- all while adjusting it to for their face, personality and lifestyle. That's what ur doc has to do My doc told me he had to leave width to my nose Bc I have such a round chubby face. I'm glad he did! Because i do feel this nose- although not small- fits me- because I am not small. And neither is my face lol. Also please please please think long and hard about this decision. It does take a toll on u mentally. It's hard adjusting. Be in an overall positive state of mind before entering surgery. Have good supportive and loving people around you. And please have realistic expectations of this your results and how long it will take to see your results as this can be a very lengthy healing process Ok that's my wisdom for the day hehe Updated on 28 Nov 2013: I felt so cute hehe. She is coming right on along Updated on 3 Jul 2014: Sorry guys. Ok so here it is. I like my new nose. Men almost tell me I have a cute or pointy nose. Regardless they notice hehe. I do feel cute though. Over all happy I did it. Def feel prettier! But I Don't love. My tip gets really big when smiling and almost looks disconnected hehe. Also nostril asymmetry bothers me- But only picks up sometimes in pictures. Dr has committed to fixing these things 1 year from surgery. That's nov and I'm excited! Updated on 3 Jul 2014: Updated on 3 Jul 2014: Updated on 3 Jul 2014: Updated on 3 Jul 2014: Updated on 5 Jan 2015: It's looking better but tip is still big. But my doc is awesome! He will fix tip in November and then I'll be done sheesh! It's been tough but I'm thrilled I've done this. First set no make up- Updated on 5 Jan 2015: Now with make up on- yaaaaaaasssssss weeeeerrrrrrkkkkkk hehe Updated on 2 May 2015: But getting tip fixed Tuesday may 5 by dr Brian Maloney Updated on 2 May 2015: And low quality selfie camera so cute! He will prob be my facial attic surgeon till I die hehe! His forward, kind, and smart. Very talented. I do feel however that my tip is still big and my bridge implant to narrow for such a round tip but do know I'm still swollen and that relationship may change. I'll keep Yall updated! Updated on 19 May 2015: Ok dr maloney KILT this chin and MURDERT lol this chin and and jaw lipo. I'm not even 2 weeks post op so I know when the swelling goes down my face will look gorg Updated on 7 Jun 2015: In love! Still have reservations but waiting to see final product! I get told I'm pretty every day. Usually don't get that lol. Hey I'll be honest. I feel extra extra cute with the chin. Just feeling thankful. Really thankful! And all of these are with NO MAKEUP! Just lipstick. I got my eyebrows enhanced with hair stroke tattoos and I get individual lashes retouched every 2 weeks. And I exfoliate my skin 2x day with one of those brushes. So I LITERALLY WAKE UP LIKE THIS. Updated on 29 Jun 2015: Updated on 29 Jun 2015: No make up. Nothing. This is the real result so far. So I'm happy I've started my little make over journey hehe Updated on 7 Jul 2015: Smile is improving. I'm happy with my changes and feel I still look as young as I was in college. The pictures are at age 21 and 31 Updated on 16 Jul 2016: I am satisfied with my healing. My hairline looks great. Just a little thin when parted. I've adjusted to the look of my lips and chin. And I like my nose most times haha! Glad I was brave enough to do the things I've always wanted. Only thing I can think of next is to make myself bow-legged!!!! Haha to be cont.... Updated on 30 Aug 2016: Growing in nice! And lip looks natural now Updated on 23 Nov 2018: And everything held up well. I look great. I get compliments on my face all of the time lol. And I’ve had a whole baby and lost all of the weight. Now my breast our ruined and I lost weight everywhere but in my bbl. so I’m about to have another plastic surgery spree. Step one. Breast lift. 2 touch up look on inner knees and thighs. (I’m about to start a fire down there lol) 3 I want vaginal rejuvenation with some bleaching or laser or whatever they can do to help me out. I’ve turned black down there from being fat for 2 years( during and after pregnancy i got up to 245lbs) 4 laser skin resurfacing on my face 5 just some fine tuning with fillers. My goal u ask? Just being my best self! Why not? I bust my butt taking care of my kids. I’d like to look my best. Updated on 22 May 2025: I'm holding up just fine! Happy about my procedures. Not so happy with scars of everything but overall pleased! Still photo is me With make up. No filter. Second is no makeup no filter. My new thing is going to be finding a way to revise the scars. Other than that I'm happy. I suppose in 10 years I'll start searching for a facelift person- and I'll share what I find!
He did my rhinoplasty and I now need a revision rhinoplasty. I spoke to him about it and he said ,"no, your nose is beautiful". I do need my nose redone; even other plastic surgeons say I need a revision. I have alar retraction (nostril resorption). My nose looks funny (it looks incomplete).
After further investigation into the Doctor's results, it turns out that I chose the wrong surgeon. Other of his patients have been scarred like me and he rarely comes to Beverly Hills. I was told that he would always be available and comes into his BH office as needed or at least every 2 months. That is not the case and follow-up is impossible. I would recommend paying close attention to his office manager since that should have been my first warning.
I have been searching for months for a doctor specializing in african american rhinoplasty. I live in the UK but given the lack of Doctors who seem to specialize in this area here I am resigned to the fact I will likely have to travel to the U.S. to get the best care. My search however has not been going very well... Firstly, I contacted Dr. Jeffrey S. Epstein. Although (from what I have seen) he does great work, his office applies some heavy pressure tactics to get your deposit including witholding information which would inform your decision at an early stage. They try to force you to go with them even if you just contact them to express an interest in obtaining general information about the procedure. For me personally this is completely unacceptable. Next I contacted Dr. Lawrence A. Lefkoff. Although he likewise appears to be a talented surgeon I never received a reply from his office for weeks! I understand he is running a busy practice but 3-4 weeks is too long too not receive any form of email/acknowledgement from his secretary that my message had at least been received. This really put me off and made me a little anxious. The secretary did eventually reply but did not answer any of my questions. She just wrote sorry and said to phone her in the United States which is really expensive from across the pond! Needless to say this put me off them. I'd rather go to a slightly less busy practice with a more personalized approach. Lastly I contacted Dr. Kofi Boahene. From what I have seen he does some truly incredible work on African American patients and I was really enthusiastic about his aesthetic which is basically natural and not overdone results. I was really keen to get a skype consultation with him to discuss the procedure further. I sent an email to express interest and although I did receive a personal response from Dr. Boahene requesting that I send some nose images, I never heard from the Doctor again after sending the images as he requested. Over 3 weeks later and I still have not heard from the doctor. Disappointing and discouraging to say the least... Can anyone else tell me if they have had a similar experiences when trying to contact surgeons? Can anyone recommend a doctor who does great natural work but is not too big/popular that they can still have time to respond to patient enquiries and provide a kind and more personalized approach? Thankyou and look forward to hearing from you.
