Breast Lift with Implants

Just Had a Lift and Augment and Think That They Are Too Small

I came in from out of town over Xmas to get my lift and my augment. The surgeon was recommended by a few friends of mine that had their's done by him. I had my initial consult back in February when I was in town for a half marathon and during that consultation I was told I needed a lift and 425cc would accommodate my look and active lifestyle. Come July, I did more research about sizing and asked my running friends that have had the procedure if going bigger really impacts their running that much. They also recommended HP implants bc they stay up and don't bounce around as much while running. So, I contacted the nurse and said I wanted to change my sizing to try out 450-475cc and do high profile. She told me she would order those for me. Come two weeks before the surgery I called again to check in about the sizing to make sure we had multiple choices ranging from 350-475cc. She said she had those.... dec 22, the day of surgery I am in the hospital bed about to go into surgery and the anesthesiologist asks me what procedure I was having done. I said a lift and an augment. She said o we don't have you down for a lift. That's when my panic set in. It thankfully got resolved, but when the nurse asked me about my sizing I said I wanted to go on the bigger side 450-475 whatever you think looks good and big but not too big to effect my running. She told me that I only told her to order 425cc implants. I was like, um no. I spoke with you twice about going bigger and I even asked if we needed a pre-op appt to finalize what I wanted. She told me that was not necessary to do. I wish I would have pushed that.... I should not have consented to go ahead with the surgery with just the 425cc implants, but at that point coming in from out of town for the surgery, and just wanting to get it done, I said ok...... the day after I looked at them and just started bawling. I think they are way too small for my frame and are not the look I was wanting at all. They look like the same size as my old saggy boobs but just lifted. Not what I wanted. I am concerned they are going to get even smaller after the swelling goes down. I'm pretty distraught over this whole ordeal, and I am hoping to get them redone with them trying the 450-475 cc implants to achieve the look I want. The nurse even told me my frane could support 500cc if I wanted that large, but I know those would be a bit too big for me... but I'm just confused as to why she never ordered what I wanted....Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do about my situation? Updated on 28 Dec 2016: Well I made the decision today to just go ahead and get the bigger implants put in asap rather than waiting 3 months to see if I like them after they've settled. I spoke with the surgeon and he said they won't be getting any bigger after 3 months, so I made the decision to just do it now. If they are small a week out, they will be small or smaller in 3 months. I should've had the 475ccs made available to me on surgery day but that was their mistake....very frustrated... I cannot afford to take a full 6 months off of my marathon training..... so here goes nothing. Should be hearing when my surgery is by tomorrow.... No pain no gain right? ????

Worth It$7,300Breast Lift with Implants

36 Years Old, Mother of 3, 115 Lbs & 5'0 - Fort Worth, TX

I have been wanting larger breast before I embarked on becoming a mother. Then I was blessed with three. All three I have breast fed and that coupled with gravity has left my breast saggy and deflated. So with the mutual decision between my husband and I, I set the surgery date. I have tried the rice sizes on and I think 375-400 cc's would be best for me to get the full C flirt with small D size. My husband feels that with my petite build that 300-350 cc's would be best. Still undecided. Updated on 2 Jun 2015: I am so excited. It's 4 o'clock In the morning. My husband and I are headed to the hospital. I am not sure what to anticipate but I am excited. As long as they knock me out I will be okay. Updated on 3 Jun 2015: Well they gave me the relaxing juice/cocktail and the rest I don't remember. Thank goodness!!!! Updated on 3 Jun 2015: I was dreaming of Costa Rica and in sheer bliss to be awaken by a nurse. What I remember was the excruciating pain. The nurse was so attentive and gave me morphine and a strong pain pill. Everything started to feel better and I couldn't be more thankful the staff. I had no compilations to the anesthesia and was well on my way out there. The staff and my husband were so impressed because I was ready to go home. Home I went. Updated on 3 Jun 2015: I had an easy recovery which frustrated my husband. He wanted me to rest and sleep but I had energy and was feeling antsy. The night was rough. I couldn't get comfortable because I wanted to sleep flat. But after a few hours of sleep I felt better. I woke up and took my first shower. Wow. My breast look beautiful. One side was 400 cc's and the other night was 375 cc's. I am so excited about how beautiful they look. I am so happy I did this. Updated on 4 Jun 2015: I am feeling fabulous. There are moments when I wake up stiff and in excruciating pain. But after coming to my senses and help with the hubby I come out of it. I love looking at them and so proud of them. I am so glad I did it. Updated on 5 Jun 2015: They are healing up pretty good. When I wake up I am sore but nothing to painful. The only down side is the inability to go poop. I have had a couple of enemas, suppositories and stool softners. But I have been able to go to my babies graduations parties, go to the pool and slow dance with my hubby. Life is good. :) Updated on 11 Jun 2015: Super happy. I have occasional pain, but it's because I am doing too much. Can't sit still. But I am uber happy. Updated on 12 Jun 2015: I went to Victoria Secrets to get fitted for a swim suit. I am a double DD. FINE WITH ME! I am loving it! Updated on 15 Jun 2015: Dr. Larry Reaves and his staff are genius! I love my breast. I still have to use the Norco during the day because I feel the muscles still settling and the muscle relaxers at night but it's ALL WORTH IT. Updated on 25 Jun 2015: I think they are healing up nice. I am enjoying the progress. My only concern is still experiencing pain in the morning and mid afternoon and at night. I do have a low pain threshold, but I am over taking medication. Otherwise I am pretty happy. I would highly recommend the Scar Away Silicone Scar Sheets. Updated on 2 Jul 2015: Well everything was going well until I started to notice a pink area that discharge was coming out. Of course I am freaking out. It hurts to touch. I see my PS. His nurse snips the little stitch that is poking out and I am on a round of antibiotics. Other than that everything looks good. Updated on 6 Jul 2015: I finished all my antibiotics and used Bacitracin on the spitting suture. Everything is healing up nicely. I feel better. The antibiotics were rough, they gave me diarrhea and made me feel sluggish but it's better than the alternative.
