Tummy Tuck for my 30th Birthday! - Houston, TX
I am a married mother of two (son is 10, daughter is almost 4) I work out, watch what i eat but this belly isnt going anywhere! Once my husband and I decided we were done having kids, I knew that I wanted to have a tummy tuck. My 30th birthday is July 21, I couldn't think of a better birthday present for myself! Hello 30's AND new body!!! Updated on 9 Jan 2013: Well I know I feel off the post wagon. I had my TT on September 13, on October 3 my grandmother passed, while in

I wanted to look sexy: decent body, but could never lose the lower belly fat--tummy tuck last chance
I am 5 days post op and i feel like my recovery is going relatively well. The most painful part of the recovery is the back pain. I tried not taking pain pills, because surgery pain didnt seem too horrible, but had to start taking them for back pain. I am still wearing my tight hoes and getting up to walk often to keep blood flow going and help with stiffness. I ended up getting a bad cold, so the coughing is painfully dreadful, but doctor assured me i wont rip my insides out.
I scheduled my surgery this am and am very excited! But a tad nervous at the same time. I have a huge belly that needs to be taken off as well as breast reduction (starting at HH-- at least). I will have 4 drains total, but she tummy ones will stay in for 2 weeks. YUCK! I am not looking forward to those. I've never had drains but heard they hurt. I guess I will get quite comfortable with my recliner, as I hear it's not easy to lay down. Any advice? Updated on 30 Jul 2016: Updated
