I am a mother of 4 and having 4 large babies definitely took a toll on my body. I have dreamt of a tummy tuck for years! No matter how I ate, or how much I worked out my stomach would not go away.. I was finally able to get the surgery! I had a tummy tuck and Breast Augmentation with mini lift. I love my results! I went to 4 different consultations before I decided on a dr. I live in the Atlanta area but decided to go to outside of the city. (Rome) Dr.Snodgrass and Dr. Robinson, and the entire staff were ANAZING!! I highly recommend!
I have only had my consultation and pre op so far .My surgery is the 12th and I'm getting nervous . I'm getting silicone mentor implants moderate plus profile with a mini lift . Not sure if I really need the mini lift or not , but worried I'll want it later on down the road . I'm very excited and scared at the same time . I LOVE this office! I actually used Dr. Chris Robinson at the Snodgrass office. All the staff are amazing and so sweet. They all make you feel so comfortable! Dr Robinson is amazing i'm 2 weeks post op and From the first day i met with him he made me feel so relaxed. When he (and staff) talks to you its like they make you feel like you have known them your whole life! His work so far is also amazing! I haven't had anything go wrong and my recovery is much easier than expected. If i ever decide to have anything else done i will definitely stay with him.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Snodgrass. His office was clean and beautifully decorated, and the staff was bright and friendly as well as very helpful. Doc explained everything very thoroughly & the process was so much easier than expected. I would visit again in a heartbeat. Updated on 3 Oct 2016: I added some pictures to document my experience. I was a 34a, 32b, now wearing a 32dd in Victoria's Secret bras. I got 325/350 cc moderate profile silicone under the muscle. These photos are before and 5 months post op. They've dropped quite a bit but I think they will a little more.
Let me begin by saying I am glad I chose Dr. Snodgrass as my surgeon. Before making my final selection of surgeons I did thorough research on breast implants including their types, safety, viewing videos, and reading reviews and opinions of physicians and patients. I called and spoke with other plastic surgery offices to ask questions. Some practices charge over $100 for the consultation; if you go with their practice the cost is applied to the procedure, if not it is money wasted. I chose not to go that route because the staff was not friendly over the phone, so I’m sure they were the same in person. I am so glad I selected Dr. Snodgrass! From the initial conversation on the phone with staff to schedule the FREE CONSULTATION to my final follow up appointment, everyone was nice, friendly, knowledgeable, and not afraid to answer any questions or concerns I had along the way; even when I would call a few times a day they showed no signs of being aggravated, they actually encouraged me to call whenever I had a question or concern. I alike that attribute because it reassured me that someone on the other end of the phone cared and is ready and willing to help whenever I need them. Every time I called I never got a voice mail or automated system; I always spoke to a live person. Dr. Snodgrass himself was hands on from the consultation through my last follow up appointment. I read reviews about others not liking the group portion of the consultation, but this is only at the beginning of that appointment. At the start of the consultation you are in a room watching a video with other patients thinking about having the procedure done. You also get a chance to touch and feel the saline and memory gel implants to see which one you like. After the video Dr. Snodgrass and a nurse comes in to answer any question or concerns you may have. Next you are taken to individual exam rooms to look at pictures of previous patients and try on the different implant sizes and profile shapes with the nurse. Then Dr. Snodgrass comes in to review your decision and make his recommendations as to what he thinks will give you the best outcome. I let him make the final decision on mine because he has been doing this for years and had a better idea of what the outcome will be. I left the consultation feeling confident and was ready to move forward with scheduling the implant procedure. At my pre-op appointment, the nurse drew my blood for labs and reviewed the implants with me again to ensure my final decision. Then Dr. Snodgrass came into the room to answer any final questions and put my mind at ease that I was making the right decision. Ultimately, I decided to go with the memory gel implants with a mini-lift. I was a 38B and went to a 38D. On the day of surgery after being prepped, the surgery staff verified the procedures I was having done (breast implants with a mini-lift), as well as the type (memory gel) and size (D) of implants I wanted. I was also asked if Dr. Snodgrass could make the decision to alter the implant sizes to get the best results once he is sizing during surgery; and I chose to let him decide the best fit for me because as we all should know one breast is slightly larger than the other. I am glad I agreed to this because he had to use different profiles in each one of my breast to make them more even in appearance. Needless to say I LOVE THE FINAL RESULT!! After surgery, be prepared for a little discomfort; don’t worry, it was bearable. The sloshing sound in the breast cavity from the fluids will go away after a few days. The swelling and soreness eases with time. You will feel sharp pains in your breast from time to time for while due to your nerve endings reviving. Be sure to follow ALL POST OP and FOLLOW UP INSTRUCTIONS!! You will have to sleep upright for a few nights to ensure breast remain in proper position; so make sure you have some pillows handy for comfort. Do the breast massages as instructed to ensure the implants form to the body as intended and do not harden. Immediately after surgery you will need a sports bra to wear home the size you were BEFORE surgery; it needs to be snug. It is uncomfortable at first and hard to fasten, but it gets easier. I bought some of the front zip closure sport bras. My daughter had to help me zip it for a while, until the swelling went down. You will have to wear the sports bra all day and night for a couple of months, then only at night, so be prepared for that. I got used to it fairly quickly; actually I fell asleep without it one night and it felt awkward; I got up in the middle of the night and put it on, then I was able to sleep better. In conclusion, I feel I made the right decision going to Dr. Snodgrass for my memory gel breast implants and mini-lift. He did a spectacular job and assisted me in making the best choice for my body!! My breast look FANTASTIC and the scarring is MINIMAL (I applied Vitamin E every night around the incision site for the first 3 months). I feel more confident with the appearance of my breast. Now I can show them off this summer without wearing a bra with my summer dresses and spaghetti strap/halter tops. I also want to commend the staff for their efforts and support throughout this entire experience. I recommend you select Dr. Snodgrass’ practice for your plastic surgery needs. He is DOUBLE Board Certified with the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. I am confident you will be very pleased with your results. I know I am!! A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Dr. Snodgrass and his team!!! You ALL are good at what you do.
I had a tummy tuck and breast enlargement with lift. I chose to schedule the procedures a year apart due to healing and cost. However, the cost of the procedures were very reasonable. I was concerned until meeting with the Doctor for the first time. I highly recommend Dr Snodgrass and his staff. They are worth the 3 hour drive!
I moved to Georgia three years ago from Southern California. I've had many, many, many consiltations for breast augmentation including ones in Beverly Hills. I first visited Dr.Snodgrass shortly after moving to Georgia. I was still on the path of finding the right doctor for me. I was so impressed with him and his office staff I knew I had found the doctor for me... Finally I was ready to move forward and get my new boobs! I would highly recommend Dr. Snodgrass and his office staff to my family and friends...
I'm a little over 3 months out from my breast augmentation with Dr Snodgrass and I'm in love with my new boobs! I knew I wanted them since high school, but I kept hearing "wait until after kids". Then I realized that I wanted to be the sexiest me that I can be right now, I don’t want to wait until after kids. So I decided to visit Dr Snodgrass in Rome, GA. Shortly after my consultation, I had no doubt about it and had the surgery shortly after. I'm 5'3, 120lbs. My bra size before was a 34C. During my surgery, I received 325cc in the left breast and 345cc in the right. I chose to go with silicone over gel simply because it felt more like my natural breast consistency, the gel was a little more firm. I wanted to look as natural as possible, which I told him before surgery, so I did the submuscular approach with an incision under the breast. I'm very sensitive to anesthesia, so I don’t remember much about the first 48 hours or so. And speaking of anesthesia....I did experience a little short term memory loss, which apparently happens sometimes. It lasted for a good month, just forgetting simple things and being scatter- brained. Once the anesthesia wore off, I did hurt a good bit. It's more like a very tight pressure in your chest, and pain when you bounce, move, stretch. I kept ice packs on as much as possible, and my husband did a great job of waking me up to eat and take pain meds/replace ice packs. I also did my massages religiously, even more than I needed to because it made them feel better. I wore tight bras with good coverage ((that's important! I like the UnderArmour Heat Gear, Made For Me zip-front. I still wear them to workout and to work as a nurse. Great coverage)). Dr Snodgrass did an excellent job, I hardly had any bruising except around my sutures. I expected to have more bruising as I have the typical red-head complexion. The healing process went slower than I wanted, but I am a "doer" and it kills me to not be 100%. I took 10 days off of work (I work as a nurse on a cardiac unit - lifting people 3 and 4 times my size for the majority of my 12 hr shifts). I would've taken more time off because of the nature of my work, but I didn't have the PTO for it. I know some moms with young kids get this done, but I'll be honest...I wouldn't want to have to carry a baby or toddler around for at least the first month. Im just now (at 3 mos) able to lift on heavy adults at work, and I can still tell that I don't have the strength that I used to. I also have some minor pain in my pec muscle and around the incision when I overexert myself at work. My breasts have settled into a good position, but my doc says they will continue to drop and look even more natural for the first year. My right breast is not dropping as fast as the left, but my doc said that's because it has more saline on the right side and that it will take more time to fall into place. I hope that is the case. It's not that noticeable to me every day with clothes on, but I can tell when look in the mirror without wearing a bra and in these pics. He did tell me at my last visit that I can squeeze down on them to help stretch the tissue underneath the breast, allowing them to drop even more. I hope it works! Overall I am VERY pleased with the whole experience. I knew it was going to be painful at first and healing would take time, and Dr Snodgrass did a great job setting realistic expectations before and after the surgery. He and his staff were all extremely helpful with all of the concerns I had, and helped me feel at ease when I felt like things weren't progressing as fast as I wanted them to. Im not excited about having to get them redone in 10-15 years, but I hope that when I do Dr Snodgrass will be the one to do them. I have been completely satisfied with everything, and I LOVE my boobs :) I should've done this years ago!!!!
After 2 years of competing in fitness shows, I had lost most of the fat in my breasts. This left me feeling less than feminine. I decided to have the procedure during the winter months to help the recovery less noticeable. I was able to fully enjoy my new womanly figure this summer. I would recommend Dr. Snodgrass to any woman wanting this procedure.
Dr Snodgrass Is an exceptional surgeon from the moment I walked into his office I was at ease he performed a mini lift and silicone implants. I could not have been more happy with the results Dr Snodgrass And staff were there for me every step of the way I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon he really knows what he's doing made me feel comfortable and was always there from the moment I stepped into the office I knew I had made the right decision Dr Snodgrass and his nurses or supportive encouraging and making themselves available anytime I needed them he's awesome takes his time and truly cares about working together to achieve the results you're wanting he spends the time and goes into detail to explain everything from basic 101 and everything that is going to take place at my final consultation Dr Snodgrass Asked me what they can do different, what can they do to make things better I said with all confidence absolutely nothing based on my experience I wouldn't change a thing I was so satisfied with my experience and results and the quality of his work and professionalism I can say with confidence that in the future should my own daughter want to pursue any cosmetic changes I trust him and his staff with her life
In my experience most women do not usually have a significant change in breast size after age 23. However, there are some circumstances where size changes do occur. -Some women have minor breast size changes during each monthly cycle. -Pregnancy can cause breast size changes which can sometimes be dramatic. -Hormone imbalances can also cause breast size changes, this is usually rare. -The most common reason for breast size changes that I see are gaining or losing weight which can dramatically change breast size in some women.
