Dr. Cole was friendly and I received good advice. Dr. Cole was very professional and her staff is great. It was easy to get in and I was seen quickly, which is very important due to my busy schedule. She convinced me of the importance of annual screening.
Dr. Cole is that great combination of both warmth and kindness and intelligence and experience we all want from the doctor to whom we are entrusting our faces to. She has a wonderful touch and is meticulous as well. Her staff is the best; so much fun to talk to! Just a great experience all the way around. I am happy to have found her.
I visited Kendra Cole's office for a mole check because I have a lot of moles and wanted to have some peace of mind that they are normal. She spotted two suspicious marks and we decided to remove them. A few days later I received a call saying one was abnormal but in the pre-stages so it was taken care of with the removal procedure. I'm so glad I went and I will monitor the site for changes in the future. The staff is very friendly, and the facility is clean, bright, and inviting. They are quite punctual, and I only waited a few minutes before being seen. Dr. Cole is kind and knowledgable. I feel confident in her care and am so thankful she identified the abnormal mole. I will continue going here for all my dermatological issues.
Dr. Cole is the absolute BEST in Atlanta!!!!!!!! I will never go to anyone else. She was so kind and knowledgeable, she knew exactly what to do to fix YEARS of acne scars on my face! I love my results and can't wait to go back and see her for more. Thank you Dr. Cole!!!!!
I went to see Dr. Cole for my acne scars and she was the perfect doctor for my needs. Just a couple treatments using sublative RF machine and my skin is looking better than ever! No one would ever be able to tell that I had acne scars. Overall great doctor and I would highly recommend!
I have seen Dr. Cole approximately 5-6 times. On each visit she has been on-time. The "cancer killing" cream she prescribed for my Squamous Cell skin cancer appears to have worked. We are still monitoring the situation, but after 6 weeks of treatment it looks positive. The staff is friendlly and helpful.
I went to Dr. Cole to get laser treatment for age spots and botox . I already see the results from botox in 24 hours! It was pain free and comfortable. Dr. Cole does a great job explaining what is happening and what to expect. Dr. Cole and her staff are very professional and make you feel at ease with everything.
I have been seeing Dr. Cole for my skincare needs over the past few years. She helped clear my acne and gave me back my conifidence in my skin! I recently had been interested in adding volume to my lips so I thought I would give it a try. I was nervous that my lips would look fake and overdone, but they look plump and natural, exactly what I wanted! Dr. Cole has a fantastic bedside manner, the procedure went by fast and there was minimal pain. I definitely will continue to see Dr. Cole for any future cosmetic procedures I decide to have!
I suffered a minor soft tissue injury to the left side of my face 8 years ago. Over time and with aging, the left side of my face from the cheek down was visibly sagging more and faster than the right side of my face, which did not suffer an injury. So this year at age 51 I decided to do something about the problem left side. I could not afford, and did not want, invasive surgery. My only goal was to repair the left side sagging so that it would tighten up and be even with the right side, which is sagging a little with age in a natural looking way. I found a reputable doctor in my area, they had a lot of experience with Thermage and told me results would be immediate (they were). The doctor consulted with me first and created a special price for me since I only needed half of one side of my face done. During the procedure I was allowed to choose how high on the meter I wanted to go, knowing that the higher number would be more uncomfortable. Thermage is not "fun" because of the stinging during the procedure, but I am happy with the result and feel the outcome was completely in line with the money I spent. Thermage repaired the unnatural sagging on the left side of my face so that now both sides appear pretty much the same. I am considering going back for one more session on the left side to pull it up just a bit more from my smile line across to my temple. But if I don't go back, I am satisfied with the result I achieved. I would recommend Thermage especially to women who have suffered minor strokes and still have some residual sagging in their face. I think it might also be a good choice for victims of auto accidents or domestic violence who have suffered some tissue injury in the facial area that has caused them to appear prematurely old and sagging. Updated on 20 Feb 2010: Just an update. The small drooping area on the left side of my face has loosened up a bit since my treatment in Nov. 2009. I'm pretty sure that's because of the nature of the soft-tissue injury I sustained years ago, which is causing the premature sagging. That said, I was still told the effect would be permanent. But in my case, that doesn't seem to be a reasonable expectation. I'm not sure the $900 was worth it now, but I'll leave my rating as it is with a thumbs up, because immediately after I finished my session my face did look really improved, and stayed that way for quite some time thereafter. In my case, however, I believe a small amount of surgery is going to be necessary to pull up the slackness in the skin tissue on that side.
The most common side effects of SculpSure are pain, redness, tenderness, swelling, firmness, hardness and nodules. Less common side effects which can occur are itching, skin contour irregularities, dimpling, hyperpigmentation/hypopigmentation (dark or light spots), asymmetry, necrosis (localized death of the skin), changes in skin laxity, numbness, blister or burn. Rare occurrences of fainting or dizziness have been noted during and/or after the treatment. We have only seen side effects of pain, redness, tenderness, swelling, firmness, hardness and nodules in patients treated in our office. The SculpSure laser is not designed to tighten skin, although it has been reported in some patients. We treat skin laxity with radiofrequency skin tightening devices such as Thermage and Venus Freeze. It is best to avoid treating over scars with SculpSure. The SculpSure applicators can be positioned so that we can treat around scars.
I would let a patient know that pain tolerance varies with each person, which will affect how a patient perceives pain from the SculpSure treatment. In general, the more fat in the treated area, the more pain the patient will feel with the SculpSure laser. Some body areas are more sensitive to the heat from the laser, especially the inner thighs. We haven't had any patients who haven't been able to complete their treatment session. We haven't had any patients experience significant pain after the treatments, but some patients can experience a mild vague soreness of the treated area. None of our patients have experienced numbness or nerve pain that can be associated with CoolSculpting treatment.
Thank you for your question. We purchased our SculpSure machine last year and have been very pleased with it. There are many differences between SculpSure and CoolSculpting that guided our decision to purchase the SculpSure: 1) The biggest reason we chose SculpSure over CoolSculpting is that CoolSculpting can cause large mounds of fat over the treated area called paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH). My husband specializes in liposuction and has treated this condition in several patients that had CoolSculpting. PAH does not occur after SculpSure. 2) The treatment time for one area of SculpSure is 25 minutes vs. 50 minutes for CoolSculpting. 3) Nerve pain and numbness can occur after CoolSculpting because the nerves are stretched when the patient's fat is sucked into the CoolSculpting machine. Some patients that experienced nerve pain after CoolSculpting have been treated with with narcotics and Neurontin. Nerves are not stretched or damaged with SculpSure because the laser sits on top of the skin. 4) Shelving or "shark bite" irregularities can occur after CoolSculpting from differences in the treated versus non-treated areas. There is better blending of treated vs. non-treated areas with SculpSure because the heat of the SculpSure laser diffuses 2cm beyond the applicators, so that there are not sharp demarcations between the treated and untreated areas.
Thank you for your question. When a patient is a good candidate for SculpSure, the patient satisfaction rate is up to 100% in clinical studies. We have have the SculpSure in our office currently and have used Vanquish in our office in the past. It is unlikely that you will respond to a different non-invasive method of fat removal if you did not respond to SculpSure. I recommend that you seek out a physician who specializes in SmartLipo for liposuction. Good luck!!
