I'm 55. Had a total abdominal hysterectomy at age 40. 2 years afterwards I developed urethral stricture. I also suffered from dryness and it felt like sandpaper between my legs when I walked. I opted for the Íntima laser after a lot of research. I had the first treatment. It was basically painless, but because I had atrophy, inserting the probe was very uncomfortable and I did have small bleeding afterwards. It's been a month since my first treatment and I've noticed that I am developing my own moisture, no more Feeling like sandpaper. She did an extra pass with the probe by where my structure is and I can't comment on this yet, I get my urethra dilated next Tuesday (have to get this done every 5 weeks along with a cystoscope in urologists office) but I will say I that with stricture I would start spraying when I pee and I have noticed I am not doing this. I go back in a couple of weeks for my second Íntima treatment. I would say so far so good :)
