I’d like to begin by saying “I LOVE MY Doctor” We connected right away. I gave Dr Karhade a list of all my issues and what I would like done with minimal down time but still will give me the best results. With NO PRESSURE... Dr Karhade gave me some options and let me decide what I am willing to do and when. My 1st appointment I had Botox and fillers. Since it was my 1st time she kept making sure I was comfortable and didn’t feel any discomfort. My entire appointment was painless and so relaxing. She was kind and listened to my needs. I felt no pressure into doing anything I didn’t want to do. After a month, I returned to Dr Karhade to have the Ultherapy. She and the office staff explained the procedure from the beginning to the end. They gave me Rx to relax me and lessen the pain (which I felt none). The Ultherapy uses Ultrasonic waves to promote collagen in our skin. Full results will be seen within 4-6 months. Overall, my office visit was relaxing and I was comfortable. (So comfortable I actually feel asleep).I would definitely recommend Dr Karhade to anyone who would like to make some improvements. I’m so happy.
Hi, Bruising is a possible but unlikely complication of injectables. You can reduce or avoid blood thinners (unless medically necessary), NSAIDs like advil, and other blood-thinning ingredients such as vitamin E, fish oil, garlic in the week prior to injection. Eating pineapple can help as well! (Due to a high bromelin content found in pineapples) After injections, if bruising does occur, there are lasers that can help significantly shorten the duration of bruising and help it resolve much faster. This can even be done at the same visit as your injectable treatment, especially if you are prone to bruising or have one or more injection sites that bleeds more than the others.
It is not legal to obtain botox or fillers in the US without a medical license. It can also be dangerous and I highly advise against this practice. While it may be tempting to succumb to lower prices, the likelihood of risks and complications is much higher. In fact, the relatively high prices of botox and filler have to do with the actual cost of the product itself from the manufacturers. Unfortunately no one can get the branded, legal products cheaper.
There is a range of prices within the Juvederm family, depending on which filler is used (Volbella, Ultra, Ultra Plus, Voluma, etc). Typically that price ranges from $625 -$1000 per syringe. The price is also dependent upon the experience of the injector. Injectors are not equal- there are providers who have studied and learned cosmetic injectables over years, and others who have learned in a 2 hour crash course- higher prices are therefore typically seen with more experienced injectors. Do your homework and know who is injecting you and how they were trained!
This will usually resolve with more hyaluronidase- it takes a relatively large amount of hyaluronidase to truly dissolve out the filler! Hope this helps
Juvederm and Restylane are families of hyaluronic acid-based fillers. Each family has a number of different products that can last for various lengths of time and are used for various purposes. For example, the Juvederm family in the US includes Ultra, Ultra Plus, Volbella, Voluma, Vollure. The Restylane family in the US includes Refyne, Defyne, Silk, Restylane-L, Restylane Lyft. These are used for various purposes for anything from lip augmentation to filling temple hollows. The length of time each filler lasts is very dependent on the specific product use, where it is injected, and a number of other factors. In general, however, 9-12 months is typical for all hyaluronic acid based fillers, no matter what the brand is.
