Dr. Hellman has assisted me in reclaiming my dignity after my sexual assault which occured in June 2017 by reclaiming my face and skin of the ware and stress with different laser treatments, botox and fillers which gave me more confidence and sense of self worth once again. When she told me about Votiva and the benefits of stress incontinence I thought further of the benefits realizing how the laser treatments almost gave me the feeling of turning back the clock on my face neck and chest, and wanted to feel the same where I was assaulted. From time to time one has the privilege of having a medical provider of clearly superior caliber. I had that experience since 2015 when I became a patient of Dr. Judith Hellman MD. It is my pleasure to write this review of support on behalf of Dr. Judith Hellman MD and her staff members, who were my sole dermatology provider in New York City. Dr. Hellman and her staff participated and/or assisted with under the direction of Dr. Hellman in the evaluation and management of dermatological diseases as well as cosmetic surgical procedures. Dr. Hellman is an extremely intelligent, highly motivated, conscientious and gifted physician. She is well read and possesses an excellent fund of both basic sciences and clinical medicine knowledge. Furthermore, her staff are highly intelligent, perceptive medical professionals, hard working and honest, with an excellent rapport towards their fellow patients and the community at large. In their work, they are consistent, dedicated and passionate, enthusiastic, cheerful, and a pleasure to have as medical providers. Recently, I have undergone Restylane tear trough procedure and happily expect to have it redone again in six months or so. Like everyone who thought about having this done, I've done hours and hours of research as well as had a lengthy and fruitful discussion with Dr. Hellman. I was unhappy with the shadows and depressions that occur under my eyes. Friends, family members, and colleagues have always commented how tired I look even though I've had 7-9 hours of uninterpreted sleep at night. This made me very self-conscious at best and at times very reluctant to be a part of black tie events. This is, of course, New York, and a confident self image could literally open networks and potential business partnerships. Dr. Hellman reassured me that this procedure, if done by an experienced cosmetic dermatologist, like herself, will yield an excellent result. It involves the injection of Restylane, which is hyaluronic acid fillers, giving a soft, natural correction to facial hollows. I also had a second opinion at a plastic surgeon's office. Little unbeknownst to me the surgeon doesn't do consultations but it was a non-medical professional sales representatives. It was like "WOW!"...seriously?? I went back to Dr. Hellman and went forward with the procedure. It is without a doubt a very painless treatment with no post-procedure downtime. It's now four weeks forward and I am extremely satisfied. I've received tons of compliments and have gain a sense of confidence I never knew I had before. I'm happier at work. Best of all I'm happier at home and you know what that means :) I highly recommend Dr. Hellman for your medical and cosmetic dermatological needs. I certainly will continue my care with her.
