I am so sorry to hear about your experience.  I would recommend further evaluation for other contributing causes.

The disappearance of spider veins depends on the following: 

1. Knowledge and experience of the practitioner injecting the sclerosing agent.

2. Whether the reticular veins have been treated prior to the spider veins.

3. Solution used.

4.  All the above assume that you have a competent saphenous system.
