Renew Bariactrics is definitely recommend Dr. Green did my gastric bypass in may 2022 they had me check in with a nutritionist an answered any questions I had. They cleaned my open wounds every shift change, checked my drain, did my vitals and they was very kind to my sister as well.
Renew Bariatrics tried really hard to get things right. They messed up with canceling my hotel reservation, not telling them I would be in a day later. When I got to the hotel, they canceled my entire reservation. It was challenging to actually secure a room. Hotel Real was a good place to stay in the end. Everyone raved about Dr. Green, but i just found him to be a typical surgeon. The overall care was good and the hospitalist and anesthesiologist were good as well. I have had no infections or problems. I am more hungry now after my surgery than previous to it, but I have lost 27 pounds so far (a little over 2 months post op). Some people have lost more and some less at this point, but I started at 188.
Sin duda uno de los mejores cirujanos que he conocido, súper profesional y entregado al bienestar y seguimiento de sus pacientes; altamente capacitado en procedimientos bariatricos lo cual brinda seguridad y confianza para recomendarlo ampliamente... Gracias Dr Green #TheColorOfHealt
I could not say enough great things about Dr. Green he was absolutely the best doctor I have ever had!!! He has changed my life so much and I was so happy with my results that 2 more people in my family used Dr. Green and they love him too! If you are miserable and are thinking of surgery please do yourself a favor and use Dr. Green you will not be disappointed. I had a wonderful experience and my life is amazing thanks to this man!
Dr. Green was exceptional. I am a year and four months out from my surgery and I am doing very well. When I went to Tijuana to have my Gastric Sleeve I was scared. My husband was my companion, but it was still scary going to an unknown place and having a surgery that was life changing. Dr. Green and his staff that coordinated everything was exceptional from the time we got off the plane and we escorted by the driver to our hotel until we left the hospital and went straight back to the airport. They absolutely all made me feel like I was as welcome and I could be. I also had a little bit of a glitch the day I went in for my surgery. My labs were off and Dr. Green and his staff made me feel like my health and whether or not I could do the surgery was more important. They were not going to do the surgery unless it was safe. It was disappointing, but he made me feel like my health was more important than the surgery. After 24 hours of medicine and a swap of a hotel stay and a hospital stay my labs were in line and we were off to surgery. A year and 4 months later I feel so much better. I will also say that I still have access to all the staff if I have questions even now. Dr. Green answers me every single time I message him, even now. I still have access to all the staff, including nutritionist, coordinator, driver, etc., even now. Thank you so much, Dr. Green, and your team. You are great and I would recommend you guys to anyone thinking about doing such a life changing procedure.

Dr Green performed my gastric sleeve operation. Great Surgeon. He actually talks to you and listens too! Before and after the sugery! I highly recommend him. I went through Medical Tourism Corporation.
I contacted medical tourism to find out the best price and surgeon. I flew in from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada after I learned that Dr Jorge Green was well known had good reviews and I trust worthy surgeon. I went in knowing I was in good hands. Before going in for surgery I had everything arranged by Karen the coordinator. When I flew in a driver pick me up in San Diego California. They dropped me off at a beautiful high-end room at Grand Hotel which was all included in my package for $3,900US. I did not have to worry about my own food or drinks. The next morning I met with Doctor Green and had a nice consultation. He was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, honest, patient, and had very good bedside manners. I could tell his skills and knowledge was above and beyond in the field of gastric sleeve and gastric bypass surgery. He was a board-certified surgeon who I knew after meeting I could put my life in his hands and I would be safe. The medical facility was beautiful high-end and very clean compared to what I had seen in Canada. I would have had to pay at least 12 to $13,000 just to get a gastric sleeve in Canada. My flight was around $500 round trip and do surgery package everything included from medication to hotel to pick up from airport and drop off stockings Hotel food and drink for me was all included in $3,900US. I was overnight in the hotel did all my blood test, EKG and anything that needed to be done before the surgery. After the doctor had my results my surgery was done in the afternoon. I felt very comfortable with my decision although I was a little bit scared as I had no idea what would really happen. Before the surgery I saw the surgical team and dr. Green one more time I was ushered everything will be okay and that I am in good hands. They were sure right. My surgery went smoothly without complications. I woke up with nausea but no pain no discomfort. I had been told to walk as soon as I wake up so that I would release gas and feel comfortable after my surgery. When I woke up dr. Green was there and showed me how big my stomach cut out was from the sleeve. He told me that everything had gone well in the surgery room. He told me to get up and walk as soon as I possibly could and not to be shy if I was in any discomfort or pain to let his nurses know. He came a couple hours later to check on me and in the meantime I had his amazing team look after me. The next morning I was released from hospital and went back to Grand Hotel and I met Arzansa. She was The dietitian who explained everything that I needed to know. At any point and time Doctor Green was only one phone call or WhatsApp message away. He was never shy to tell me exactly what I needed to know. He was always professional, caring, very skilled and knowledgeable. To this day 1 year and 7 months later he is still there only one call or message away. I have referred many of my friends to him and I will continue as I would do this in a heartbeat all over. His staff the facility, the hotel, the arrangements, the food, the payment process, everything was so easy and done professionally. I could not have wished or dreamed of having a nicer slim healthy body. I lost 100 pounds in 12 months. I never told any of my family or friends about what I did as I felt it was unnecessary. I seen many people with their partners coming others came on their own or with a family member. Either way it doesn't matter you are in good hands if you're looking for gastric sleeve or gastric bypass surgery. Dr. Green is the one to go with , I would do it all over again with no hesitation. Today one year and seven months later I have returned back to LIMARP. I booked with the same team to medical tourism for my breast lift and breast implants after my weight loss surgery with dr. Green. This time I chose for my plastic surgery Dr Marco Rodas. I had another amazing experience but medical tourism and with the surgeon I chose to them. My surgery was only yesterday at 9 a.m. I woke up with no pain, no nausea and nothing but a good feeling in my brand new breast. He was another knowledgeable skilled friendly kind surgeon and had amazing bedside manners not try to listen to my request and my expectations he did better than I could have ever dreamed off. I would like to thank Dr Jorge Green for the amazing care he and his team provided for a simple Canadian wanting to look better, feel better and be healthy. I no longer have diabetes, high blood pressure, little movement with joint pain, I no longer snore, end my current GPA tells me that I am the perfect healthy person thanks to a life change that the gastric sleeve gave me. So if you are afraid of flying to Mexico for surgery don't be. In Mexico at LIMARP its better then in Canada, I can guarantee you that. Do not hesitate to contact medical tourism for your package Dr Jorge Green the best gastric sleeve surgeon out there he and his team will go beyond for you to make sure that you were safe and in good hands. I’ve been reading reviews, watching videos and lurking RealSelf and other communities anonymously for years now. I want to share my journey in hopes that it will help others with making their decision, as reviews from others were extremely helpful in me making my decision! SW: 277 CW: 268 GW: TBD I’m a 33 year old female from the United States. I’ve been overweight for the entirety of my adult life. I was diagnosed with PCOS at an early age and I’ve had two ACL reconstruction surgeries before the age of 15 (I was an athlete). Up until last year, I’ve had normal bloodwork, but now I’m starting to see higher cholesterol levels. I’ve tried several diets, with keto being the most successful. I lost 50 pounds on the diet, finally got back to Onederland to gain it all back and then 25 pounds. It has been a struggle getting back on track and everyday I get more depressed about being obese and my struggles with food addiction. I knew I would be a great candidate for gastric sleeve but my insurance did not cover the procedure. Paying for it out of pocket in the United States was out of the question. After talking with my PCP, my family and doing a TON of research I decided to start looking into doctors in Tijuana MX. Now, I’m not afraid of traveling nor receiving care in another country. I have traveled to several other countries and well aware of the perceived image that the USA portrays Mexico as, is just a lie. In fact, hospitality outside of America is extraordinary in comparison. I knew the most important part was finding a board certified physician who has great experience and speciality in bariatrics. I’ll go into details on this process in my next post. Overall, I’m excited and anxious for my upcoming surgery date. I start my pre-op diet the day after Thanksgiving and allowing myself to enjoy this time as my last treat before I change my lifestyle forever. I am committed and ready to start this journey!! January 8th is my surgery date! Updated on 24 Nov 2020: *I've already done this part After deciding Mexico was the route I wanted to take, I knew that the most important thing was to find a physician that is board-certified, had easily identifiable credentials that I could cross-reference on the government website, etc. I looked at several doctors on here and on other various forums/articles. I ultimately decided that Dr. Jorge Green was the doctor I decided to go with! I used Renew Bariatrics to book with. They have handled everything promptly and it has been very easy so far. The best part is the communication, it has been top notch! You are also invited to a Facebook group with over 5000 members who have either had the surgery performed by their group of doctors or are waiting to become a new patient. It has been such a wonderful resource so far! I have learned so much through other people's experiences and every question under the sun seems to have been asked - i'm glad i'm not the only one that thinks of the most random things! It is nice having support from the nutritionist as well. Needless to say, I'm feeling pretty prepared. I'll upload some photos pre-surg plus goodies i've acquired for it this weekend!
There is an operation called like that: gastric bypass revision, and indeed a ¨candy cane¨ or blind loop can predispose you to get SIBO; the operation must be done by a skilled surgeon on bypass revisions, ask your surgeon for a preop assessment... the operation its intended to trim that blind loop and on the right hands its pretty simple...
An gastrointestinal infection must be ruled out, with blood lab work and stools as well... in the mean time start taking probiotics and plenty of fluids (including electrolytes), set an appointment with your surgeon and have yourself checked ... hope you get better soon...
According to your BMI, you are a candidate for weight loss surgery, the dilemma: which procedure would be ideal for you? ... to be able to recommend one kind of surgery or another, it is important that your surgeon knows your medical history and diseases that you may have, for some patients the gastric sleeve is the best and for others a bypass it is what fits best, it doesn't have to do only with the amount of overweight that the patients have, must take into consideration history of metabolic diseases, GERD, motility issues of the esophagus, the type of eating habit that you currently have, etc. the more information your surgeon has related to your clinical history then he will recommend the operation that fits best for you and consequently the better result you will get ...
the most likely is that with vomiting your esophagus suffered an irritation on its mucosa caused by contact with acid ... barrier antacids (liquid form) can help in these cases ... symptoms of a leak are mainly: tachycardia , fever, abdominal pain, pain in the left shoulder or in the back ... I recommend that food portions must be better measured so that there is no need for unsafe methods to correct it, your nutritionist can assist you with these recommendations...
A physical or mechanical cause must be discarded, or associated with recent physical activity; be sure you are taking vitamin, mineral and protein supplements to maintain healthy nerves, muscle and bones; hyper acidity can cause esophageal spasms or gastro esophageal reflux that irritates nerves in the esophagus that cause hiccups ... pains in the ribs region and in the shoulder on the same side are symptoms that may reflect some of the mentioned above over the diaphragm and hiatus area
